"Look,I don't know if can do this",I said into the phone.

"You have made a lot of progress over the past couple weeks.You will beat the Trollhunter for sure!",Hannah said back.

"I'm not so sure about that.Most of the time,Im trying to solve the obstacles Star throws at me so I don't get killed",I said.

"I doubt you will die in the battle.Remember,you will be a dragon",she said.

"True but I hope that Vendel forgives me.I just wanted to help the people in danger because what's the point of me helping people if I can't even help them.I needed the information but instead,I was thrown into the wall and was seen by a troll.Then,he tried to eat me so I sliced his arm",I said.

"It all happened so quickly",she said.

"I guess all we can do is practice for the battle tomorrow",I said.

"Yeah but I'll see you in an hour.We have to go to Diamond City to train anyway",She said.

"Yeah ok,bye",I said as I hung up.

I put my phone on my desk and pulled out my laptop to finish up my homework.

Chemistry homework is like the worst kind of homework you can have.

As I was working out a problem,my dad walked in with a plate of brownies.

"Hey sweetheart,how's the homework coming along",he asked.

"Um.. great,just great",I said without taking my eyes off the laptop screen.

"Is something bothering you",he asked as he sat the brownies down.

"Pffft,of course not",I said as I turned my chair to face him.

"Are you sure?",he asked.

"Yeah,I'm sure.Thanks for the snack",I said as I grabbed a brownie.

He smiled.As he was about to leave my room,I stopped him.

"Hey dad?",I said.

"Yes?"

"If something ever happens to me,promise me that you'll be ok",I said.

"Nothing is going to happen to you and I can't imagine life without my little girl",he said.

"But what if something did happen",I asked.

"Well then...I wouldn't know what to do anymore",he said as he left my room.

I groaned as I got back to my homework.I care about my dad a lot and it's been hard ever since mom left.

Dad has always been my best friend,right next to Hannah.He is one of the most important things to me and I would go crazy without him.He tries so hard to take care of us and keep me happy.Its like all he does is work most of the time.

Now, my mom has a really bad past.She would always come home late at night and was drunk.She never cared about us even when she wasn't drunk.Before she had me,she was really depressed about some things that happened on her family.I understand that she was sad but she didn't have to take it out in herself.She made some really bad decisions in her life.

Not long after my 5th birthday,she started cheating on my dad with another guy she met somewhere. I never knew why she did it but later we found out she passed away In a car accident leaving dad to take care of me all alone.

Hannah is the only person I talk about this too because I'm scared that dad will be mad that I asked.No one else knows about my moms past and I'm happy with keeping it that way.

As I was about to put my laptop away,my window opened.

"Hey (Y/N)",Hannah said as she crawled through.

"You know that there's a door downstairs right?",I asked.

She nodded."Star and Flappper decided to give us a ride to Diamond City instead of you hauling me up there",she said as she pointed out the window.

I poked my head out of the window to see Star and Flappper waving at us from the back yard.

"My dad is home.He'll notice that I'm gone",I said.

"Just say your going out with friends",she said.

"He's becoming more protective every time I come home after curfew",I said.

I decided to put a pillow under the blankets if he comes in so he'll think I'm sleeping.

I grabbed a sticky note and wrote,"Feeling a little sick,please give privacy."

Usually,if I ask for privacy,dad will give it to me.I put the sticky note on the door and locked it.

Then,Hannah
and I crawled out my window.Flappper helped us to the ground.

"We must start training as soon as possible",she said as I climbed on her back.

Hannah climbed on Flapppers back as both dragons took off into the air.We were carful to make sure no one saw us.

"Alright,so is there anything else I should be worried about other than being killed tomorrow",I asked.

"You will learn the Trollhunters weak spots and use that against him",Star said.

"How do you expect me to do that?"

"Winter gave me a book about the trolls and their weaknesses so it should be easy.Most of them have the same weakness",Star said.

"Your going to make me study...on a Thursday?",I asked.

"Yes.Tonight after training,you must study the book",Star said.

"Fine but it's not going to work",I said.

When we arrived at Diamond City,Winter was there to greet us.

"Hello Dragon Hunter.Are you ready?",she asked.

"I guess?"

"Great!We shall begin immediately",she said as we walked to the Dragon Arena.

"So we are going to Trollmarket tomorrow,right?",I asked.

"Yes,is called the Hero's Forge",Winter said.

Hannah kept tapping on my shoulder."What?"

She pointed at Star as we all laughed.Star was jumping up and down in a very silly way.

"Don't worry about her.Shes just excited to see all the books in Trollmarket along with its location",Winter said.

I nodded."Wait,if the dragons come to watch the fight,won't they find out where Trollmarket is",I asked.

"That's why only Star,Flappper,Hannah,and I are going to watch.No one else",she said.

"Do they even know I'm about to battle the Trollhunter?"

"Nope",Flappper said.

When we arrived at the arena,Flappper threw the potion we had yesterday to us.

"Alright,you only need a sip",Winter instructed.

"Is it going to hurt?",Hannah asked.

"I guess we will just have to find out.Won't we?",Winter said while smiling.

Hannah glared at her and then turned to me."You can go first!"

"No way",I said.

"Your the one fighting tomorrow!Not me",she said as she shoved the potion in my face.

I grumbled and popped the top off the bottle.

"If I die,I'm going to haunt all of you in your dreams",I said as I took a sip of the potion.

"There!Happy",I said while wiping my mouth.

"How did it taste",Flappper asked.

"Disgusting."

"Just because it smells good,doesn't mean it will taste good",Star said.I handed the potion back to Hannah.

As Hannah was about to say something,a flash of light surrounded me.

I closed my eyes for a minute so the light didn't blind me.Then,when I opened them,the light was gone.

"What?",I asked.

Hannah looked at me,jaw dropped,along with Star.

"Yo-your a dragon",Hannah said.

"Wait what?It worked?",I asked while looking at myself.

I was a black dragon with majestic purple scales covering my wings.The scales started at my nose and ended at my tail.My tail also had some spikes lining it.

I had gigantic claws and my wings were huge.

"Did it hurt?",Hannah asked.

I shook my head."I actually didn't feel anything."

Hannah nodded and took a sip of the potion.

The same thing happened to her as a bright light shone.Then,when it went away,Hannah was standing there as a dragon.

She was a white dragon with sky blue scales only covering her head and wings.Her tail had spikes running along it with some spikes on her wings.

"I can get use to this",Hannah said as she flapped her wings.

"Well,lets start training",Star said as she clasped her paws together.

                      Jim's POV

"I'm going to what?",I asked.

"You are going to be battling against the Dragon Hunter tomorrow to establish peace again",Vendel said.

"If I may,Dragons have not been spoken of in over 1000 years.Why now that we need to see them?",Blinky asked.

"Well,while you were battling Drawl,the dragon Hunter sneaked in Trollmarket.They apparently needed information but hurt a troll in the process",Vendel said

"What the heck is a Dragon Hunter?Why have I never heard of it?",I asked.

"A long time ago,Dragons and trolls were split up because we could not trust those fire breathing beasts.The only one I kept in contact with was Winter",Vendel said.

"Winter?"

"Yes,The leader of all dragons.It was our decision to split us up",Vendel said.

"Please don't make me go against a dragon! I'll be burned to a crisp before we even start",I said.

"From what I heard,she is still learning.Just like you",Vendel said.

"It's a she?",Blinky asked.

Vendel nodded."Be ready.The battle is here,tomorrow at 5:30",He said as he walked off.

"I'm suppose to be hanging out with my friends tomorrow though Blinky!",I said.

"You have to skip it this time",he said as he trailed back to his library.

"That only gives me about 30 minutes to hang out",I said to myself.

Third Person

Strickler and Bular is standing in an alley in town.

"So,do you finally have a plan?",Bular asked.

"Indeed I do.Once I get my hands on those amulets,nothing with stop us",Strickler said.

Bular growled and looked at him."What if they try and get them back?"

"Well,one of them can be very...persuasive.She will join our side and fight along side with us instead of the trolls.She learns quickly",Strickler said.

"No need.I will crush their bones until there's nothing left.Then...my father and I will kill this whole town",Bular said.

"They are both humans and they both attend the school I work at.It will be as easy as smashing a goblin",Strickler said.
