I groaned and sat on a bench near a store.

I've been following this stupid Stalkling all day and you know what I got?Nothing!

It's already 9:00 and the Stalkling is just flying around out of other people's site.

I noticed he was on the move again so I got up and followed him until he reached the High school.

He flew to the top of the high school and sat there,waiting for his prey.

"No one would be here this late",I muttered as I kneeled down behind a bush.

A couple kids left the school as a boy and a girl slowly walked out together.

The Stalkling growled and flapped his wings.

"What was that?",The girl asked.

"Uh, maybe I can walk you home?",The boy asked,ignoring her question.

"I think my parents would kill you if they saw you with me.
And anyway, they're picking me up",they girl replied.

"My mom's picking me up, too!I just- Maybe we could keep each other company",The boy said.

"Okay",The girl said weirdly.

"Uh,Are you all right?",The girl asked.

"Uh, yeah, just, um I'm worried about the weather",he said while looking around nervously.

A red car pulled up next to the school and honked its horn.

"Thanks again for stepping up today.
You really saved the play",The girl said as she ran off.

"Claire, wait!",the boy yelled but was interrupted by his phone going off.

I heard muffled speaking.

"What?",The boy yelled in terror as lighting struck.The storm was picking up fast.

"By myself?",He asked before his phone beeped,signaling that the call ended.

The boy ran to the red car.
"Wait, wait!Hi, Mr. and Mrs.
Nuñez.I was hoping maybe I could catch a ride?",The boy asked.

The person in the car rolled his window back up and started to drive away.

"Wait, wait, wait! - But it's my birthday!",The boy yelled.

The boy got on his bike and put in his helmet.

"Come on, Tobes.Pick up.Please, pick up! Come on, come on, come on!",The boy pleaded to the phone.

A voicemail came up as the boy spoke.
"Tobes, please pick up the phone.
This thing is following me and I'm all alone! Alone!",the boy yelled into the phone before sticking it back in his pocket.

"Oh shoot",I muttered as he started getting away.

The Stalkling chased the boy all the way through town.He kept diving down to attack the boy.

Once we reached the bridge,the Stalkling grabbed the boy by his arms and flew into the air.

I hid behind a part of the bridge.

They continued to rise higher and higher as a flash of blue light appeared in the clouds.The boy was in his armor.

The boy tried to escape but failed.The boy then raised his sword and made lightning strike them.The Stalkling turned to stone and the boy was unconscious as he fell from the sky.

"No",I sneered.

A chubby boy and a big troll ran under him and caught him.

The boy woke up and stood.

"Worst birthday ever",he said.

"Glad we could help",the chubby boy said.

"No!He should have died!",I yelled,not realizing I said it out loud.

The boy looked at me and his eyes widen.

I growled as they all got into a fighting stance.

"Not today",I said as I began to run into the woods.The troll and the chubby boy couldn't keep up with me but the Trollhunter was the only one still chasing me.

I came to a stop behind a tree,taking a breather.I think I lost him

"Think I'm gone?",He asked.

I looked up and saw him sitting in the tree.

Before I could start running again,he jumped down and grabbed my arm.

"Who are you?",He asked.

I kept quiet.

"Are you a changeling?",He asked.

My cloak continued to hid my face.

I pulled my arm away from him.I backed up and fell backwards as he pulled out his sword.

My hood fell in the process as his eyes widen.He dropped his sword and continued to stare at me.

"What?Never seen a girl before?",I asked as I stood up.

"(Y/N)?"

"How do you know my name?",I asked.

"Im your friend,don't you remember?",He asked with a frown.

"I shouldn't be talking to you",I said.

"Where are you going?Where have you been the last two weeks?",He asked.

"It's none of your concern",I said.

"Your my friend,it's my job to be concerned",he said.

"Your not my friend,your my enemy",I said.

"What are you talking about?",He asked.

"Go away.You shouldn't be here",I said.

"I want to help you.What is going on?",He asked.

I sighed and turned my back to him."Like I said,none of your concern",I said as I was about to run again.

Right before I took off running,I looked at him."Happy birthday by the way",I said with a smirk as my eyes glowed a bright yellow.

"Did you finish him off?",Strickler asked as I entered the museum.

I shook my head and walked passed him.

"What happened to the Stalkling?",He asked.

"Killed...by the Trollhunter",I said.

"You seem down,are you alright?",He asked.

"I'm fine!",I muttered.

"He saw you,didn't he?"

I sighed."Yes,he saw me",I said.

Strickler shook his head."You know you were supposed to stay hidden from them",he sneered.

"Well I'm sorry if I made a mistake",I said.

"You won't be able to make a mistake with Gunmar.One wrong move and your head will be gone",he said.

"What I didn't understand is that he knew me.He knew me!How is that even possible?",I asked.

Strickler looked down."I don't know but stay at task.Don't let one petty Trollhunter play with your mind",he said.

"Screw It.Im going back to the Darklands",I said.

"How do you think Gunmar will react with you coming back with empty hands?",He asked.

"I'll just put ketchup on my hands and walked in.Ill say,"I killed the Trollhunter.Here's his blood.Bye!".

"You've been training in the darklands to kill the Hunter.Why are you turning back now?",He asked.

"I don't know.When I saw his face,he looked...familiar",I said.

"There's no such thing",Strickler said with a nervous laugh.

One of my eyebrows raised as I got up.

"What are you hiding?",I asked.

"Who me?Im not hiding anything",he said.

"Mm"

Strickler put his hands up."I promise,no secrets here"

"Alright,I trust you",I said.

                      Jim's POV

I ran back to the bridge to see Toby and AAARRRGGHH.

"Did you figure out who is was?",Toby asked.

I nodded."Well?"

"It was (Y/N)"

"What?",he yelled.

"No no no,that can't be right.Shes been gone for two weeks",Toby said.

"I know but she called me her enemy and her eyes glowed yellow",I said.

AAARRRGGHH shook his head."Grave Sand"

"Grave sand?What the heck is that?",I asked.

"Turns peoples anger against them",he said.

"So your saying that it's making her angry and she thinks that she's my enemy?",I asked while yelling.

He nodded."Thats bad.Really bad",Toby said with his hands in his head.

"We need to go tell Blinky and Hannah about this before it's to late"
