I pulled my bike up next to Hannah's house and knocked on the door.

She came door and opened it."Oh,hey (Y/N)",she said.

"Are you still busy",I asked.

"Yup,I was stuck babysitting my three siblings and I still am",Hannah said while letting me inside.

"Ok, well remember that amulet I found.The thing with the gem and stuff.It works!",I yelled while walking inside.

"Can't this wait (N/N)",Hannah asked.

"Nope.How much longer do you think you'll be stuck doing this",I asked.

"I have no clue but you can stay here if you like",Hannah said.

"Ok"

She nodded as a little 6 year old jumped on her.Then,another one knocked her down to the floor.

I laughed."This is going to be interesting",I said.

At your house
"8 hours! I didn't plan on it to take 8 hours",I yelled.

"Well,we had to fix lunch,dinner and we had to clean up",She said.

"Okay,Hannah.Your never going to believe this",I said.

"My head hurts",Hannah complains while grabbing a bag of ice.

"Check this out",I said while pulling out the amulet.

"Do you have any medicine",Hannah asked.

"Hannah,pay attention",I say while taking a deep breath.

"Hmm",She said while looking around.

"For the glory of Merlin,Moonlight is mine to-",I was cut off by Hannah slamming the fridge.

"Really",I asked.

"Sorry,needed more ice.I freakin hurt",she said while putting the ice on her head.

I took a deep breath and held the amulet out.I watched as the amulet levitated in the air out of my hand.Then,I as picked up off the ground and a big blast of purple light surrounded me.As the armor clung to my body,I was dropped back to the floor.

I opened my eyes to see Hannah with a pale face.Her eyes were so big that you would think she saw her life flash before her eyes.

"Hannah"?

Then,she passed out.

"Ok,that was not what I would have expected her reaction to be",I said to myself.

About an hour later she started waking up."Hannah,are you ok",I asked.

She sat up and held her head."Yeah,Im fine but OMG you totally need to use this against mean people",Hannah said.

"Are you kidding me.I show you a magic sword and beautiful armor and thats how you react",I said.

"Ok,technically my reaction was me passing out",she said.

"What are you,like a super hero now",she asks.

"I'm kinda a um...Dragon hunter",I said.

"Your joking right? Dragons don't exist",She said.

"Um...they kinda do exist",i said.

Her eyes widen as there was a bang at the door.I looked out my back door to see Star waving at me from outside.

Hannah screamed and hid behind me."Don't open the door",she said while pointing at the door.

Then, star opened the door and crawled inside."I'm calling the police",Hannah yelled while running to the phone.

Flappper crawled inside but she had a tough time because she was too big to get through the door way.(Just saying,both dragons are females)

"No,make that animal control",She said.

She grabbed the phone and hid being the kitchen counter.

"Yes,hello.I would like to report dragons in my best friends kitchen",Hannah said.

"Do you think this is a joke kid.You are  the second person to say something like that to us today.Another kid reported Trolls in his best friends house",The lady said.

"Actually make that the national guard",Hannah yelped as she peeked over the counter.

The phone beeped."Aw man,Animal control hung up on me",Hannah said.

I face palmed myself and looked at Star."Did you tell her about us",Star asked me.

"Um...is that a problem",I asked.

"Mistress (Y/N),we dragons have gone great lengths to keep our existence secret from your kind,lest there be panic",Star explained.

Flapper picked Hannah up and set her on the counter with her tail.

"Oh my gosh,oh my gosh",Hannah said while grabbing a frying pan and pointing it at Star.

"Like that",Star said.

"It's alright Han",I said.

"They are like 10 feet tall",Hannah said while moving the frying pan to Flappper.

"This is my best friend,Hannah Spirit,"I said.

"They have huge eyes.We're going to die",Hannah said.

"Hardly.Your friend is the Dragon Hunter.Her noble obligation is protective",Star said.

"Like "protecting"?You mean like a superhero? Oh,can I be her side kick?",Hannah said.

"Hold on,who would I be protecting",I asked.

"Us",Flappper said.

"And Mankind",Star added.

"As well as Goblins,gruesomes, and the occasional rogue gnome",Star said while Hannah tapped her in the head repeatedly with the pan.

"Would you mind",Star said grumpily to Hannah.

Hannah's eyes widen and she dropped the pan.

"The mantle of the Dragonhunter is a sacred responsibility,one which has never been passed to a human before.This is a momentous occasion",Star said.

I turned my head to see my dads car in the driveway."Upstairs quick,my dad's home",I said while we all ran upstairs to my room.

I can't let dad see me in this armor or the dragons! We quickly ran in my bedroom and I shut the door.

"(Y/N),I'm home",my dad yelled.

"He's not supposed to be here till later",I said.

"Hmm you smell like roses",Flappper said to Hannah.

"My perfume is flower scented",Hannah said weirded out.

"Yummy",Flapper said.

"Are you ok in there (Y/N)",my dad asked while knocking on the door.

"Um yeah,I'm fine.Ill be out in a minute",I yelled.

"Ok,I'll be in the basement cleaning up",he said.

"Ok,what's this going on here",I asked while pointing at the amulet.

"It reacts to your emotional state.You seem to be in some distress",Star said.

"Well, I kinda am",I said.

"I have another question",Hannah said.

"Speak Hanna",Star said.

"It's Hannah,actually.Sometimes Han for short",Hannah said.

"If (Y/N)'s the first ever human Dragon Hunter,like you said,what happened to the person before her"Hannah asked.

"The glorious mantle has been passed from Dragon to Dragon for hundreds of years",Star said.

"So,the previous Dragon hunter,what,retired",I asked?

"Was felled",Flappper said.

"Felled",I asked?

"Means killed",Flappper said.

"Turned to stone and smashed.Ruby the powerful,was her name.Brutally slain by a ruthless dragon named Raven",Star said.

"Don't worry (N/N),This Raven guy probably just got lucky",Hannah said while putting a hand on my shoulder.

"The evidence does not suggest that.Raven is a formidable opponent",Star said.

"Then the other guy,she was just off her game or something right",I asked.

"Doubtful,Ruby was perhaps the most alert and able of all dragon hunters",Star said.

"Not the very best thought,right",I asked.

"Oh,the very best.Many songs and sagas have been written about her",Star said.

I'm literally scared out of my life.I don't wanna die! I did want some action and stuff but nothing with the word die in it!

"What I think my friend is a little worried about is,if this-",Hannah started.

"Raven",Flappper said to help Hannah.

"Yeah,got it.If this Raven guy could defeat Ruby by-",Hannah said.

"Smashing to pieces",Flappper helped again.

"Then,what's going to happen to (Y/N)",Hannah asked.

"A most appropriate,if troubling,query,Hanna",Star said.

"Hannah",Hannah corrected.

"Of course,we would never expect Mistress (Y/N) to engage in battle without the proper training",Star said.

My armor disappeared and I looked at Hannah.

"See?Nothing to worry about",Hannah said.

I went out of my room and back into the kitchen with them following behind.

"Ow!Your cloud,too small",Flappper said.

"So,Mistress (Y/N),are you ready?We should begin your training immediately",Star said.

"I have school tomorrow",I said while putting my homework away.

"I assure you,the relevance escapes me",Star said.

"I'm 15.I have to stay home to do homework and study",I said.

"Do homework",Star asked.

"I can't be out there,you know,Dragon Hunting",I said.

"Because",Star asked.

"The whole "Getting killed by a vicious dragon named Raven",might be a deal breaker",I said.

"(N/N),she eats magazines",Hannah yelled while feeding Flappper magazines.

"Deal breaker",Star asked.

"I don't want to die",I said.

"Goodness gracious!Who does",Star said.

"Maybe you should take this back",I said while handing Star the amulet.

"The amulet chose you,Mistress (Y/N)",Star said.

"It chose you,Its your-",Star started till I cut her off.

"Please,don't say "Destiny",I said.

"Sacred obligation",Star said.

"Or that",I said while face palming.

"You cannot refuse it,you cannot give it back.It is yours until you die",Star said while handing it back to me.

"And I would like to get a little further past high school before that happens",I said.

"Mistress (Y/N),you are now responsible for the protection of two worlds,human and dragons alike.If you do not keep the balance,evil dragons like Raven will come into yours and wreak havoc",Star said.

"Your saying this Raven guy can hurt people",I asked.

"Like you",Flappper said while looking  at me.

"Not helping",Star said with a growl.

"What's she talking about",I asked.

"With the amulet now in your possession,Raven will seek you out,you will have to face him,one way or another",Star said.

"Maybe what (Y/N) needs is a night to process all of this.You laid a lot of heavy stuff on her tonight",Hannah said.

"Fine,fine.We shall return tomorrow then,to begin your training",Star said.

"Perfect",Hannah said.

We walked to the back door,Flappper and Star following.

"Magazines for the road",Hannah said while throwing some magazines in Flapppers mouth.

"Magazine",Flappper said.

"Newest pop star and Food for days magazines",Hannah continued while throwing the last two magazines in Flapppers mouth.

"Mistress (Y/N),if I may.Destiny is a gift.Some go their entire lives living existence of quiet desperation,never learning the truth that was feels as though a burden pushing down upon our shoulders is actually the sense of purpose that lifts us to greater heights.
Never forget that fear is but the precursor to valor,that to strive and triumph in the face of fear is what it means to be a hero.
Don't think Mistress (Y/N)...become",Star said as my eyes widen.

"Would you at least consider"Star asked.

I nodded and fist bumped one of her hands/claws.

Hannah and I watched at Flapper and Star left the house.They walked out to the back yard and flew off into the clouds.

"How's that.I got you a night",Hannah said.

"A night",I asked.

"Girl,your always the one talking about how you want to see if there's something more to life then just school.Well,there's your answer",she said while walking back inside.

Stars POV

"Should we tell them about the trolls",Flappper asked as we flew away from Mistress (Y/N)'s house.

"No,they cannot find out about Trolls.Vendel and Winter made a promise not to ever let the Dragon hunter or Trollhunter,ever find out each others secret.They might fight some of the same things but they shall not meet.Mistress (Y/N)cannot find out about troll.Just like the trollhunter shall never know dragons exist.The last time a trollhunter and dragon hunter was together,they both tried fighting Gunmar and Raven.Sadley,they both failed.We cannot let them go through that",I said.

Flappper nodded.
"DiamondCity",Flappper said.

"Yes,we shall let Winter know that we found the Dragonhunter",I said.

Your POV

Hannah and I walked to the outside lockers.

"Hey (Y/N),are you excited about this?Your going to be working with dragons",Hannah said.

"Shhh,keep your voice down about that Hannah",I said.

"Oops,sorry",she said.

I opened my locker and fixed my hair in the mirror until something caught my attention.While looking in the mirror,I saw Jim walk by with his friend but something blue was glowing from his bag.

I shut my locker and looked at Hannah."I'll be right back",I said and she nodded.

I went to follow them.If he knows my secret,I'm doomed.He already said talking amulet to his little buddy.

"Does this thing run on batteries?What is it doing",the chubby boy said while looking in Jim's bag.

"How should I know?It didn't come with a manual",Jim said to his little friend.

"Does it feel like you're going to,you know,change",the short boy asked.

Change?

"Oh no",Jim said.

"We've got to get you someplace that's not out here",the chubby boy said while he pushed Jim into the boys locker room.

"Something freaky is going on here and I need to figure out what",I said while looking at my watch.

"Oh no,the auditions",I yelled.

I quickly grabbed my things and ran to the theater room.Thats where we put on plays and things.

As I ran behind the curtain,I ran into someone.

"Oops,I'm so sorry.I didn't mean to",I said while rubbing my head.

"No,it's ok.It was my fault",he said while offering me a hand.

I grabbed his hand and pulled myself up.Then,he helped me pick up my stuff.
I look up to see Jim.

"Thanks",I said.

He smiled.I looked at his clothes and gave him a confused look.

"You didn't wear a costume for auditions",I asked.

"I did wear one but I changed out of it already",he said.

"Looks like you didn't wear one either",he said.

"Nope.I totally forgot about the auditions until my friend reminded me about it",I said while throwing my bag down in a chair.

"Next",the teacher said.

"I already went,it's your turn",Jim said.

"Oh,ok", I said while walking out.

I walked on stage and took a deep breath.

"Name"?

"(F/N)(L/N).Im trying out for Juliet",I said.

"Carry on",the teacher said.

As I finished my last line,I looked at the teacher."And when he shall die,take him and cut him out in little stars,and he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night",I finished.

I watched as everyone clapped.Then,I walked backstage.

"That was great (Y/N)",Jim said.

"Thanks",I said.

"I'm sure you did good too",I said.

"Thanks",he said.

There was an awkward silence until he broke it.

"I got to go but I'll see you around",he said while walking away.

I nodded and returned to the lockers to meet with Hannah."You where amazing",she yelled.

I giggled."You think"?

"If you can defeat a dragon,I'm sure you can make a little play",Hannah said.

"I'll see you later Hannah",I said while getting on my bike.I rode past the construction site to see cool things until I noticed a foot print on the concrete.

"What the heck is this",I said while pulling out my camera.I started taking pictures of it till I heard a faint growl.

"Wha-",I turn around and scream.

I back up the more he come towards me.

"Why hello Dragon Hunter.Its so good to see you",he said with a smirk.

"Not now",I whispered to myself.

"Your Raven",I said with wide eyes as I noticed a ton of scars.His scales was as black as night and he had silver scales covering his massive wings.

"Hand over the amulet for a easy painful death",he said while stalking towards me like a cat.

I backed away a little more."Never",I said.

"Fine,then I'll tear you limb from limb and drink your blood as soup.Ill chew on your bones and make them into armor for me",Raven said.

I quickly got on my bike and starting peddling away from the dragon.

"I didn't think it would be this soon",I said to myself.I turned my head to see Raven throwing things at me.He unfolded his wings and roared.

"You will never touch this amulet for as long as I live Raven",I yelled.

He chased me all around town until I finally got to a corner.I hid and heard him sniffing around."For the glory of Merlin,Moonlight is mine to command",I whispered.

Why Is it not working?I turned my head to see Raven grinning at me.

I yelped and peddled threw a tight section between stores.When I finally made it near the woods next to my house,I saw Star.

"Mistress (Y/N),your alive",Star said.

"He almost killed me.Raven chased me all around the place",I said panting.

"Almost, is a very strong word Mistress (Y/N) but I need to show you something",Star said.

"Quickly,hop on",Star said.

I quickly jumped on her back as she took off into the air.I watched amazed at the view.

"This is incredible",I yelled.

She laughed as we came up above the clouds."Where are you taking me",I asked.

"The Dragons need to meet their protector,don't they",Star asked.

I gulped."I don't know Star.In front of all those dragons" ,I asked.

"You'll be fine Mistress (Y/N)",Star said.

I gasped as we came up the last cloud to see the most beautiful place I have ever seen.

"This...is DiamondCity",Star said.

Guys,I understand that these chapters are really similar to the actual show but deal with it.Don't be saying,I don't like how close this is to the show.Im writing this little note a year after this chapter was released cause I reread my book myself.Im getting tired of nonstop comments saying it's to similar.If you don't like it,might as well stop reading here cause I'm not going to continue listening to the complaints.I understand everyone has their own opinion but keep any rude ones like this to yourself.It just gets really annoying if you know what I mean.At the time that I'm writing this added note,the second book is already out.Trust me,it's nothing like the actual show once you hit the 4th chapter.Just take this to note please,I'm not being rude.Just pointing it out
