"Alright, close your eyes"

Little me closed her eyes as my mom began to sing a lullaby.

"Where the north wind, meets the clouds theres an island full of memory...sleep my darling safe and sound. For in this quest, all is found.

On an island far and wide lies the answer and a path for you fly up high far from the ground but not to far of you'll be found

Yes, she will fly to those who hear and in her heart all magic flows but can you brave what you most fear
can you face what the crystal knows

Where the north wind meets the clouds there's a island full of memory come my daring homeward bound when all Is lost, then all is found"

The little girl fell asleep as my mom snuck out the room quietly, closing the door behind her and walking to her room.

The scene on the wall disappeared back to a black endless tunnel as I looked around.

I started feeling around before my hand brushed up against a solid black wall. It blended in with the rest of the room.

When my hand touched the wall, it glowed bright purple as it showed my mother and father in their room talking.

"Katie, do you really think you should be singing that lullaby?"

"It won't do anything hon, it's harmless"

"What if she finds out about your past?"

"She won't. She's 3 years old, she will barely remember anything. She will be safe", my mother said before taking a book and placing it in a box.

"But Raven-"

"Raven won't find her. Winter made that clear"

"She knows about Winter", I muttered.

My dad rolled his eyes before kissing my mother on the forehead. "Lets hope so. Goodnight"

The image faded from the wall as I turned around and saw a bright pink crystal in the middle of the dark room.

I curiously walked up to it and place my hand on it. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I gasped and turned around to see my mom.

"Mom?"

She held her arms out as I ran in for a hug but I fell right through her.

"Mom? Please", I stood up and walked towards the image of my mom with teary eyes.

"Find yourself, show your true potential"

"What are you talking about? Full potential?"

She smiled before waving her hand has a blue mist appeared in front of me. The mist disappeared as a book took its place.

"That's the same book you put in that box", I said.

I looked closer and noticed a lock on the book. Before I could see anything else, a giant figure of Raven appeared in-front of me with a grin.

"For The Glory Of Merlin, Moonlight Is Mine To Command"

I waited for my armor to form but nothing happened. I got nervous when I saw Raven hold the amulet in her claws.

Before I could do anything, Raven slashed her tail at me as everything went black.

"No!", I woke up screaming.

I breathed heavily before glancing at the clock. It was 7:30 am. Half an hour before school starts.

Kaida, the baby dragon, stretched and yawned cutely next to my bed.

I pet Kaida before swinging my legs over the bed and staring at the floor.

"It was just a dream", I whispered to myself as I got up and got dressed.

I started brushing my hair while looking into the mirror. I collected my scattered books in my room before putting them in my bag. When I looked back into the mirror, I saw Raven in the reflection. I jumped, dropping the bag containing all my books onto the floor.

Hannah walked into the room a second after. She noticed my books in the floor and gave me a curious look.

"(Y/N), are you okay?"

I turned my head towards her and back at the mirror. The reflection of Raven was gone. I calmly took a deep breath and began picking my books up. "I'm fine Hannah"

"You seem a bit jumpy this morning"

"It's nothing. Come on, we are going to be late",I said as I zipped up my bag and grabbed her by the arm.
Kaida jumped into my bag to hide.

We walked downstairs and past both of her parents.

"Are you girls eating this morning?", Hannah's mother asked.

"No ma'am. Don't wanna be late for school!", I said as we got on our bikes.

The second period bell rang as I walked into the girls locker room to get dressed for P.E.

Once I was done getting dressed, I put my hair up and walked out to sit on the bleachers.

I took out a small notebook before doodling on the page. I started to hum the lullaby from my dream.

Hannah soon sat next to me and glanced at my paper.

"Nice tune. Where did you hear it?"

"It was in my dream", I said. I sat my pencil down and looked over at Hannah.

"Your dream?"

"Yeah. My mom was in it and what I'm humming is a lullaby she sang to me when I was younger. It was really strange because she knew about Winter and the Dragons. Even my dad knew. In the end, Raven had my amulet and then slashed at me with her tail right before I woke up"

"That's strange. Do you think it was real?"

"I'm not sure. Winter said they've never had another human step foot on Diamond island so it couldn't be"

"We did see that old carvings on the wall yesterday which showed a human girl fighting along side Ruby. Maybe that was your mom"

"No way Hannah. My mom-"

"Your mom wouldn't have told you. She would have been our age when she was with Ruby"

"I'm guessing we are taking a trip to Winter?", I asked.

She nodded and jumped off the bleachers, looking back at me with a grin.

"Yes but right now, take a load off. Have some fun and let loose", she said before running off.

I groaned. I put my pencil and notebook away before following Hannah to go climb some ropes.

Diamond City

Hannah and I walked into Winters room and looked around.

"Winter!", I yelled.

Little Kaida screeched as Hannah and I giggled at Kaidas failed intention to get Winters attention.

We walked through the room until we noticed a white dragon rapped around a pole.

"Winter!", I yelled again.

Winter looked down and saw me before spreading her wings and dropping to the floor.

"Hello Hunter, what do you need?"

"I need answers", I said calmly.

"Answers? What for?"

"About my mother",I said.

"Your mother?"

"Yes, I had a dream that she knew about Dragons. Did all of you know my mother?"

"I'm afraid not", she said.

"What about the carvings on the wall in the secret room near the library?",Hannah asked.

"None of Dragon kind would know if those carvings are true or not considering none of us remember the past. That's why we keep that room hidden just in case it means something bad"

"So it was just a dream. None of my dream was real?", I asked sadly as Kaida walked up to me and wrapped her small tail around my ankle attempting to comfort me.

"I'm afraid so", Winter said.

I looked down at the ground and back at Hannah.

"But I cant give you all the answers you need"

My eyes widen as I looked up at Winter. "What do you mean?"

"None of us here can give you the answer you desire but maybe the past hunters can"

"The past hunters? You mean the past dragon hunters like (Y/N)?", Hannah asked.

Winter nodded.

"How is that possible. You can't talk to the dead", I said rolling my eyes.

"That is where you are wrong (Y/N). You are able to talk to all past Hunters", she said.

"How?"

"Follow me", she said.

Hannah and I glanced at each other before following Winter to the training arena.

"Uh Winter, this is just the training arena",I said.

"Not everything is what it seems", she said before handing me a small green gem.

She pointed a claw at a open crack. The crack was inside of the dragon symbol that appeared on the middle of the training arena.

"Uh what?", Hannah asked.

"It's a gem", I said with a shrug.

"It's a key gem, only the past and present Hunters can unlock"

"So only (Y/N) can go?", Hannah asked.

Winter nodded.

I turned towards Hannah and gave her a reassuring nod. "I'll be fine Hannah"

The small Dragon Kaida jumped onto Hannah's shoulder and rubbed her head against Hannah.

I walked over to the crack on the ground and placed the green gem in it.

"Nothing is happen-", I started before the arena started to shake.

The symbol on the ground split in half and opened to reveal crystal rising from underneath. Once the shaking
stopped, I noticed the crystals were shaped to fit like a throne.

"Wow", I said as I walked up to it.

I touched the shimmering purple crystal throne before looking at Winter.

"How does it work?"

"Well, you sit on the throne and you will be transported to the other Hunters"

I nodded and activated my armor before sitting on the crystal throne.

My vision slowly faded until everything went black.
