"(Y/N)!(Y/N),wait up!",Hannah yelled as she chased me out of the fast food place.

"What was that about?",she asked.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that you just got up and left.You looked pissed",she said.

"Ok well,maybe I was.So what?"

"(Y/N),I know you like Jim.You saw him holding Claire's hands and then your head looked like an invisible tiki torch",she said as she gestured to her head.

I chuckled and stopped walking.

"Ok maybe I was a little mad but so what?I'll get over it",I said.

"What if you don't?"

"I will.Plus,I have responsibilities to distract me.I don't have time to worry about a love interest right now",I said.

"(N/N),you can have a love life and be the Dragon Hunter at the same time",Hannah said.

"No not really.I rather want to focus on one thing",I said.

"Some things don't always work out the way you planned (Y/N)",she said.

"Trust me,I know",I said.

We both walked along the sidewalk as we continued to talk.

"No more boy talk?",Hannah asked.

"No more boy talk",I said as we fist bumped.

Once we reached my house,we saw Star inside the living room.

"What is she doing here?It's broad daylight outside,someone could see her!",I said as we went inside.

I closed the blinds and locked the door.

"I'm sorry to intrude on such short notice but something has came up",Star said.

"What is so important that you come all the way out here,almost risking your exposure?",Hannah asked.

"Well Winter and Vendel have been sending messages back and forth.Im afraid that it doesn't lead out to a good outcome"

"What is the outcome Star?",I asked impatiently.

"Vendel and Winter think that it's a good idea to erase not just your memory,but the Trollhunter team as well",she said.

"No!I am not going to get brainwashed again"

"Hear me out on this.We have not focused on our fights at all.We've been too busy doing the TrollHunters Job and we need to start fighting on our own terms",she said.

"How much will I forget?"

"It's hard to say.She mentioned erasing everything before you met the Trollhunter",she said.

"I would forget Jim and Toby?Thats not fair",I said.

"Yeah,that's not fair to us.We can do both",Hannah said.

"We have not proven that so Winter has made her decision.It will take place tomorrow",she said.

"So your saying that I will remember basically everything but Jim and Toby.We won't be friends?"

"Sadly no but you may still cross paths with them as long as you don't discover their secret."

I sighed and looked at Hannah.

"Your not actually considering this,are you?"

"I have no choice.My responsibilities as the Dragon Hunter comes first and if that means erasing my memory to keep me on the right track,then yes.I will agree to it",I said.

"I'm guessing that includes me?",Hannah asked.

Star nodded.

"Great",She said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry about this but I wanted to let you know ahead of time",she said.

"Thank you Star for alerting us",I said.

"No problem",she said as she left.

"We can't forget about our relationships with the boys.After everything we've been through?"

"We are all friends.Im sure that we could become friends again after the memory swipe",I said.

"What about you and Jim's moment.You two are practically sole-mates",Hannah said.

"One kiss doesn't mean he's my sole-mate.I don't have time for love but even if I did like him,he doesn't like me back.He likes Claire",I said.

"If he liked her,he would have kissed you",she said.

"He made up his mind Hannah,Including Toby.He's asking the mole mascot out",I said.

"What?Who told you that"

"Claire told me",she said.

Hannah sighed."The first dude I though would like me back is dating a mascot.What else could happen?",She said.

"We both need to forget about them and focus on our jobs.This could be good for us.It will jeopardize less people",I said.

She nodded in agreement.

"I'll see you at school tomorrow.I need to get home and finish my homework",Hannah said.

"Alright.Same here",I said as she left.

I walked inside my house to see dad standing in the hallway.

"Where have you been?"

"I was out with a friend dad",I said.

"You can't keep staying out all day.You need to tell me where you go so that I know your safe",he said.

"Alright,stop worrying so much",I said as I ran up the stairs to my room.

I locked the door and sat in my chair.I slid my laptop out and started my homework.

"You need to start telling me where you go.Its not safe!",i mimicked at a memory of dad saying that.

"I can survive on my own.Im not a little girl",I said to myself.

"Good Morning Arcadia oaks high.Today we have a special announcement.Before the spring dance,we will hold a masquerade party.All student are welcome and it will be held this Friday Night.Be aware that this privilege was earned by good grades on a state assessment",the speaker said.

"Did you hear that!A masquerade party!",Hannah said excitingly.

"Of course I heard it",I said boringly.

"You don't sound to thrilled about it",She said.

"That's because I'm not.Who would want to go to some party that no one knows who they are"

"You are going",she said.

I shook my head.

"No way"

"Yes you are",she argued.

Before I could respond back,the teacher walked in.

"Alright class,we have two new students that just transferred here from New York.You two may come in",She said as she clasped her hands together.

A tall boy in a black leather jacket walked in along with a slightly shorter girl wearing a flower top.

The boy had brown hair,ocean blue eyes,a white shirt,and a black leather jacket with black high top converses.

The girl,who looked almost exactly like him,had long brown hair down to her bottom.She had really bright blue eyes and her face was shaped like an oval.She had a white top on with no shoulders and the top had a beautiful flower pattern trailing to the neck.She had a baby blue skirt on which was about 4 inches above her knee.Her outfit also included white vans and to complete the look,she had tons of bracelets on her left wrist.

The boy chewed a piece of gum and leaned back onto the wall as the girl admired her nails.

"Class this is Chris Howell and Marlee Howell",the teacher said.

The boy looked up as he searched over the class,almost like he was looking for something.

"Chris,you can take a seat...behind Miss.(L/N) and Marlee can take a seat behind Darci",The teacher said.

I raised my hand to show him over to his desk.Darci did the same.

As both teens sat down,Marlee immediately got out a textbook and pencil.

Behind me,I could here Chris shuffling in his seat like he was uncomfortable.

I turned around."You okay?"

He nodded."Just getting comfortable",he said as he propped his feet up.

I rolled my eyes and returned to my work.Every class I had after that included Chris.I could tell he was a jerk considering how mean he is.

He was throwing balled up paper at Eli and he would put his feet on the desk.He even threw gum in a students hair.

I was relived when I heard the school bell ring throughout the school.I took off to my locker and stuffed my books in my bag.I moved my amulet to my back pocket and continued to collect what I need out of my locker.

As I closed it,Chris was standing behind it.I jumped and shrieked.

"Sorry,didn't mean to scare you",he said.

"It's fine.No injuries caused",I said.

He chuckled."Need any help?"

"Um nope.I got it Mr.Bad boy",I said as I shut my locker.

He shrugged."Has anyone ever told you how pretty your eyes are?"

I froze and turned to him with flustered cheeks.

"N-no.Thanks",I said.

He nodded his head as your welcome and continued to stare at me.

"What?"

"Nothing.You just seem like an interesting person"

"Is that a bad thing?"

"Not at all but what if i asked you out for smoothies?",he asked.

"I would say yes",I said with a smile and I held my books close to my chest.

"Then how about you go out for smoothies with me in durning math"

"Wait!Skip class?"

"Um duh.Of course!"

"I've never skipped class before though"

"Then you haven't lived",he said jokingly.

I sighed."Fine.Ill see you tomorrow",I said.

He smiled and handed me some paper.

"There's my number.Call me",he said as he walked off.

I watched him leave the school grounds as Hannah,somehow,was able to sneak behind me.

"Did that new cute boy just give you his number!",She gawked.

"Yup"

"This is good!You can forget about Jim and start over.Its another chance!"

"I guess so but I don't even like Chris.I just met him and he's a bad person",I said.

"Give him a shot.He's totally into you already,"she said.

"I will but I'm telling you,this will not end good!"
