Lucy's POV

It's been three months since I've told Natsu how I felt. I kept my promise and I visit Fairytail at least 2 times a week. I train a lot too. Aquarius was really mad when I got my keys back. Hehe. Oh well. Natsu's been acting really strangely lately. He's been more distant. He stays out more now and barely spends time with me. What is he's cheating on me? Does he not want me anymore? I mean I'm not exactly anything special. I'm Ms Average (This girl. *looks around* so...... who wants to knock sense into her?)

No but he would've already asked me to leave then. But what if he feels bad for me so that's why he isn't. When is he gonna tell me. Am I not good enough? *sigh* I'll have to ask him today. Oop. There he is. Act normal Lucy. *starts reading a magazine upside down* (sounds like me ngl 😂😂😂)

Natsu's POV

I'm so damn excited. It's finally time. I feel kinda guilty though. I haven't been able to spend time with my Luce (dies from cuteness.......
Comes back from the dead to finish this chapter) Tomorrow's the day. Yes. I've been waiting for this for so damn long. Tomorrow's the day I finally propose to Lucy and ask her to be mine forever. (AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Can't stop fangirling. Someone help)

I walked into the room to see Luce reading a magazine upside down. I chuckled slightly at her weirdness. But that's one of the many things I love about her. "Hey Luce. You ok? Your magazine is upside down" I informed her. "I-oh yeah I was just- uh- I was practicing how to read upside down. Yeah. That's exactly what I was doing" she said, a bit too quickly might I add. "Okayyyyyyyy?" I questioned.

"Hey Natsu I have to ask you something" she asked hesitantly. Wait a damn minute. Luce is hesitant? Awww helllllll nawwwwww. WHO MADE MY LUCE UPSET? I'M GONNA KILL THEM. But I need to be calm and collected while I'm around her because I love her.

"Go on Luce" I encouraged her. "Ummm...... wellll.... are you seeing someone? Like beside me? I mean I don't blame you if you are. I know I'm not exactly something sp-special. I-I know I'm not g-good enough." she said trying not to choke on her own tears. My heart literally shattered. Did she not trust me? She should know that I love her more than anything or anyone else in the world.

I rushed to her side and hugged her tightly. "Awwww Luce. I'm seeing no one else. You're the only girl for me. I'm yours and you're mine. I love you so so so much. You should know that by now." I said trying to console her. How could she think she wasn't good enough? I'm the one who should be thinking that not her.

"I-I know but it's just that..... you've been out for longer lately and you barely spend time with me." she said. I tried my hardest to keep a straight face and not to burst out laughing. She's just too cute.

"Luce..... I've been out because I'm tryna make your surprise perfect." I said. "S-surprise?" she questioned with tears streaming down her face. I wiped the tears away gently and said "It's for tomorrow. I've already spoiled too much. When you wake up you'll find a box on the bed. Change into what's inside it, get ready and meet me downstairs. Kay?" I said. "Okay." She got comfortable in the bed and started cuddling me. "'Night Natsu." she said. "'Night Luce.

Lucy's POV

I woke up at around 8. Wait..... where's Natsu? Oh yeah the surprise! Imma go shower. After I showered Alexa helped me get ready. This is what I looked like.

Not gonna lie..... I look good. I walked down the stairs and saw Natsu waiting for me at the bottom. "Heyyyyyyyyyyy" I said. "Hey Luce- WOW. Ok maybe you should change. You look good and all but you look TOO good." he said. "Stop being overprotective. I'm not changing. Do you know how long it took me to get ready? Ugh. Boys don't appreciate the time and effort girls put into their looks." I rolled my eyes. "And there's that feisty side" he remarked. "Now let's get going."

Time skip cuz I'm lazy

We arrived there and wow did he go all out. But it was so pretty. It was sooooo cozy. And it's on a beach? Wow.

We talked for a bit and then he took out a huge picnic basket. I opened my mouth to speak but he cut me off. "Before you ask I did pack pancakes with strawberries, bananas and Nutella". I nodded my head in satisfaction. He knows me so well. We ate the food and he turned to look at me.

(Warning: this may turn out to be extremely cute or extremely cringeworthy and cheesy. I'm bad at this stuff people)

"Lucy" he began in a serous manner. "You've changed me since the day I met you. Definitely for the better. I love you so so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So... Lucy Heartfilia." He got down on one knee. I gasped. "Will you be mine forever? Will you marry me? (*faints*) My heart stopped. Then I started crying.

"Oh no. Did I do something wrong? I'm not good at this" he said. "No" I said. "No?" He questioned. "I understand" he moved away slightly. I hit him in the head. "Let me finish dummy. I meant, no. You didn't do anything wrong and I'd love to be yours forever." I said. "Phew. Well that's a relief. I love you Luce." he said. "I love you too Natsu. More than chocolate" I said. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

I like basically everything about Fairytail. Except for the fact that NaLu and Gruvia still wasn't cannon by the end. Ughhh!!!
