Natsu's POV

I woke up at around 8. I didn't need to wake up that early today because I got most of my work done yesterday. I looked over and saw that I was still holding Lucy protectively. I frowned at last night's events. What could she be dreaming about?

My frown quickly turned into smile though when I saw how peaceful she looked. Good. She should always be peaceful and not have to worry about anything. I tucked some of her hair behind her ears and smiled.

She stirred a bit as she started to wake up. She looked at me and then at the position we were in. She rubbed her eyes cutely. She started to snuggle back into my chest like it was the most natural thing in the world.

She snapped her head back up to me and blushed as she finally realized the position we were actually in. She wiggled out of my arms, grabbed a pillow and attempted to get out of my grasp. Key word, attempted. She glared at me as I smiled at her. Her eyes softened for a minute before returning to a glare. She turned around and cuddled her pillow instead.

Why would she do that? I mean, I'm right here. She could cuddle me instead. But noooooooo🙄. She decides to cuddle a pillow. A FRICKIN PILLOW!!!! This is outrageous. I swear I'm not gonna be jealous of a pillow. THAT PILLOW MUST DIE!!! I tapped her shoulder to get her attention. She ignored me. Back to the silent treatment huh?

I sighed as I got out of bed and did my morning routine. I walked back out to the room to see that Lucy was no where to be found. I panicked. I'm such an idiot. I shouldn't have left her alone in the room. That would have given her an open chance to run away.

I sniffed the air for her scent. It was pretty strong. I followed it and it led me to the balcony. There she was. The angel that I loved. She looked so beautiful in that night dress.

She looked over her shoulder to see me looking at her. She rolled her eyes and went back to the room. Wait......... I have a feeling that I'm forgetting something. OMG. THE DREAM. How could I forget about it? I decided to ask her about her.

"Hey Luce....." I started. She raised an eyebrow at the nickname but thankfully didn't question it. "What was the dream about?" I asked. Her eyes widened as her face paled slightly. She shook her head as an indication that she didn't want to talk about it. I nodded my head in understanding.

"I'm gonna go to some stuff that Kings do. Don't leave the room. Emily will be here at some point during the day to check on you. I'm gonna send Alexa to help you with your morning routine and maybe to keep you company. Don't leave the bed. You're supposed to be on bed rest. I'll be back at about 8 pm. Ask Alexa for whatever you want to eat. And with that...... he was off" I finished as I was walking to the door.

"Thank you for taking care of me" Luce said in a small whisper. I heard it tho because I have dragon hearing. I smiled brightly at her. Her eyes softened as she smiled back at me slightly. I guess she realized that she was supposed to be mad at me so she quickly changed her expression to give me a halfhearted glare.

It's short I know. And I'm sorry. But try listening to 'Touch it' by Ariana Grande. It's soooo good. Welp. They was random. Anyway. Peace ✌🏻
