Honestly, quarantine is driving me insane. But you know what else is driving me insane? My frickin family. I get no space, No privacy or time for myself. I'm so done at this point.

Natsu's POV

It's been 4 days since the shopping trip and Lucy won't let me out of her sight. Like literally, not even to go to the bathroom. When I go she cries the whole time and bangs on the door yelling "Natsu?" It breaks my heart. She's currently on my lap cuddling close to me. I've decided that we should pay Dad another visit to see if he knows anything. (Uncle Iggy is back y'all)

"Lucy?" I asked. "Yes Natsu?" she answered in her cute voice. "Do you wanna visit Uncle Iggy again?" I asked softly. (Wow. Natsu saying something softly? Never thought I'd see the day) "Yeah!!!" she cheered. She close on my back "Onwards my knight in shining armor. We must go to King Iggy's Residence" she said. Wow. Where did she learn those words? Isn't she 4?(not everyone is dumb like you)

When we got to Dad's room, Lucy jumped on Dad's bed. Ahem. Correction: tried to jump on Dads bed. She's still too short. Oh well. Her attempts were quite amusing. "Uncle Iggy help me" she pouted. Dad chuckled. He picked her up and placed her on the bed beside him. "There ya go ya little munchkin" he said.

"Uncle Iggy? Can you sing me a lullaby!" Luce asked. "Ah yes. The lullaby. You loved it" said Dad. (Insert a lullaby here cuz I don't really know any)

By the end of the lullaby, Luce was asleep. (Yes I know I said that she shouldn't sleep that much but she's a toddler and she needs her sleep) "Wow. She sure does sleep a lot huh?" I stated. "Well technically she's still a toddler so she needs a lot of sleep. So, how's it going son?" he asked.

"Since the shopping trip, Lucy's been really attached to me. She won't let me get out of her sight." I explained. "I know what's happening. The mate bond is starting to affect her. Even tho she's still a toddler, she was turned back temporarily by a potion so her heart is still reacting to you like she would as an adult" he explained.

"You lost me" I said. He sighed. "When you find your mate, the more time you spend with them, the stronger your bond gets. She doesn't even know it and she's falling in love with you. Although I think that's really creepy right now because there a HUGE age gap" he finished. "Oohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" I said. "I understand now. Thanks Dad. I'm just gonna take Luce now and go back to my bedroom." I said. "Wait one more question, will she be this clingy when she's an adult again?" I asked. "No. When she's an adult she'll have more control. Right now she's just a child" he said. "Got it. Thanks Dad." and with that I walked back into my bedroom.

Time skip

Today's the day when Luce finally turns back to normal. I'll kinda miss having little Luce around tho. "Ok Lucy it's time." I said. "Time for what?" she asked innocently. Man I'm really gonna miss this side of her. I saw a golden glow around her and once the glow was gone, she changed back into an adult. She was really beautiful. Damn that golden glow thing has style.

(Sorry I'm just horrible at describing stuff)

"Natsu?" she questioned. "What happened?" "Well I gave you a potion to turn you into a toddler for 2 weeks to save you from those Hinkypunks and now your back" I said. Her mouth formed an O shape.

"Wow. What's with this dress? I love it." she said. I chuckled. "Well luckily we haven't seen Jayden yet" I said. "Y-yeah" she said weakly. "Welp. Since I didn't do any work for two weeks, I gotta go catch up. I'll send Alexa and Emily" I said. Her face lit up. "Ok" she cheered.

Another time skip

I was on my way back to my room. Just as I was about to open the door, I heard this.
Alexa: And that's all the stuff that happened when you were a toddler.
Emily: Natsu even got you cookie dough ice cream.
Lucy: No way. Really? That's my favorite. Hey guys....... I need to tell you something.
Emily: Go ahead
Alexa: You can tell us anything
My heart was racing. What could she possibly need to tell them?
Lucy: I think- I think that I'm falling in love with Natsu.
My heart literally stopped. What did she say?
Lucy: Whenever I'm around him I always get this warm feeling in my chest. I hate it when he has to go to do work or whatever and he's so sweet. He takes so much care of me. But the problem is-is that I'd be too embarrassed to tell him.

Embarrassed? Why would she be embarrassed to tell me? She knows I love her. I heard an ear piercing scream of happiness and a thump from the room.

Lucy: Is she ok?
Alexa: She'll be fine. She's just been waiting for her ship to happen. Emily just fainted of happiness. But why would you be embarrassed to tell Natsu?
Lucy: Because I've treated him like crap from the day I got here. How do I tell him that?
Alexa: Oh Lucy, don't worry about it. You'll be fine. He'll be so happy to know that you love him. So when are you going to tell him?
Lucy: Probably sometime this week.
Alexa: Okie Dokie.

I was so excited. She's finally going to confess. I turned the handle keeping my face neutral and said. "Come on we have to get sleep too. What happened to her?" I asked playing dumb and pointing to Emily. "Oh she passed out while we were talking. She must've been exhausted. I'll take her back" said Alexa. She took Emily and left the room. Luce kept giving me scared looks. I think she's afraid that I might've heard their conversation. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked. She sighed in relief and said "Nothing. I just wanna go to sleep"

She laid down in bed and I lay down beside her. She cuddled closer to me and hugged me. "Are you not gonna tell me to go away today?" I asked in amusement. She shrugged. "Just go to bed" she mumbled sleepily.
