Lucy's POV

It was a normal day at Fairytail. Gray and Gajeel were fighting, Elfman was yelling 'MAN', Mira was serving, Erza was eating strawberry cake, Juvia was stalking Gray and The Thunder Legion just came back from a mission. Yup. The guild I loved. I walked over to the bar smiling. "You seem to be in a good mood today. What are you thinking about?" asked Mira. "Just thinking about how lucky I am to be here. How we always lookout for each other and how we always end up in trouble" I said with a big smile on my face. "Yup. That's Fairytail alright" replied Mira. "What can I get you?". "I would like a strawberry milkshake please". I replied. "Coming right up" she said.

As I was drinking my milkshake, Levy came in. She looked like she was having a panic attack. She kicked the door down. I immediately rushed to her to calm her down. "WE ARE *pant* UNDER *pant* ATTACK. *pant* THE DRAGONS *pant* *swallow* HERE!!!!!" she shouted. She then passed out. Poor Levy. Looks like she ran a marathon. I called Gajeel (her boyfriend) (hehe 🙃) and he picked her up gently and carried her to the infirmary, where he lay her down on one of the beds. Wendy then started healing her.

We walked out of the infirmary in time to hear master yelling "PREPARE TO FIGHT!!". We all cheered. Just then, the door burst open. "Hello fairies" said a dude that we recognized as the dragon army general. "Jellal" said Erza. "What do you want?". "I have been ordered to capture you" he said. "Yeah....... like we're gonna let that happen" I shouted. "Then I guess we'll have to do this the hard way. Soldiers...... ATTACK!" he shouted.

We charged at them. "Open: Gate of the Archer. Saggatarius!" I yelled. "And open: Gate of the Golden Bull: Taurus!". They didn't say anything. Just charged at the enemy. I took out my whip went to help them. "Water slicer!" I heard. I also heard other things like: "IRON DRAGON ROAR, SKY DRAGON ROAR, ICE MAKE:CANNON or SOLID SCRIPT: FIRE!!!!" Wait. When did levy get here? She should still be resting. My friends were putting up a fight. Although we tried our best, we were clearly losing. We were running low on magic energy. Eventually, the dragon soldiers got bored. "Night night fairies" we heard before it all went black.

Natsu's POV

"WHAT?!?!?!" I shouted enraged. "THEY DESTROYED ANOTHER CITY?!? THESE FAIRIES ARE A DISRUPTION TO THIS KINGDOM'S PEACE. GO AND CAPTURE THEM." I ordered. "R-right away s-sir" said the soldier. Soon fairies. Soon. Wait til you get here. Just you wait.  

"Alexa!" I called my personal maid. "Y-yes your highness?" she said and asked at the same time. "How is father doing. Is he fit to rule again?" I asked. "No sir. He is unfit to rule at the moment. He wishes to see you." she answered. "Understood" I answered. "Thank you". "No problem Your Highness" she replied.

I knocked on my fathers door before entering. I heard a faint come in so I entered. "How are you doing father? Are you fit to rule again? What did you need to talk to me about? Do you need anything?" I bombarded him with questions. "My boy, please take a seat. I have important matters to discuss with you" he said calmly. Something was up. I could tell.

"My boy, I am now unfit to rule. My legs are failing me. It is time for you to become king. Our people have already been informed. You will now be known as King Natsu Dragneel." I just sat there, my jaw dropped. "But father. Me filling in was only temporary" I said. "I know my son, I know. But I cannot rule in this state. You need to do this. For your people". I nodded. "In that case I'll do it" I said.

"Natsu there is something else I need to talk to you about." he said. I nodded as a sign for him to proceed. "One: stop talking formally. I'm your dad. Second: Have you found your mate yet?" he asked. I shook my head. "I haven't father" I responded. "I see. Don't rush it my boy. Just wait for the right one. Even if you have to wait an eternity. Unicorn, vampire, werewolf, human. I don't care as long as she is the right one for you." he told me. "Dad? How will I know she's the right one?" I asked.

"You'll get this gut feeling. You will feel like you can't get enough of her. Your heart will start beating abnormally when you're around her and you'll get butterflies in your stomach. And last but not least, her scent will drive you mad. You won't get enough of it. These are the major signs."he replied. I nodded. He was always such a supportive father. We chatted about other things. I left after a while.

I can't wait to get my hands on those fairies. I will teach them a lesson they will never forget. I know Dad always told me to be kind to everyone but someone's gotta tell 'em. Right? I shrugged and went to my office to work on stuff. Trust me you don't wanna know.
