Natsu's POV

I burst into Emily's office. "Eeehhh. Hey Natsu ever heard of something called knock before you enter?" she asked quite angrily. "I'm sorry but I need help. Lucy is mad at me and it's gonna be twice as hard winning her over now" I said. She looked at me. "Explain!" she commanded. I explained everything to her. Like EVERYTHING. MAKING SURE NOT TO MISS A DETAIL BECAUSE SHE NEEDS TO KNOW EVERYTHING TO HELP.

She smiled at me. "Ok. This is one of the more complicated shipping mishaps. But nothing I can't work with" she assured. I smiled at my sister figure. "So first, you need to go into your room gently and say something sweet, handing her a bouquet of red roses simultaneously. I looked at her. "Ummmmm ok" I said. "Now go pick some roses from the garden." she said. "But they have thorns and they hurt. I can just have someone else do it. I'm the king" I said. She face palmed. "Yes but it's sweeter if you do it by yourself. Also make sure to tell her that you picked them by yourself." she explained. I nodded.

I walked out into the garden and started picking the roses. They actually hurt. After I was done, I wrapped them in golden ribbon and trimmed the stems. I wrapped the roses in a covering to make sure that the thorns don't hurt my beloved. (Natsu stop turning into Juvia!!) Emily was accompanying me because she thought I would mess up. She said she would wait outside the door and if nothing went wrong, she would go back to her office.

On my way to my room, I was so excited!!!!! I burst open the door and said. "Hey gorgeous. How are you today?" Lucy looked at me as if I was crazy. I heard Emily face-palm behind me. "THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU WERE MEANT TO SAY YOU DUMBO . THAT IS NOT SOMETHING SWEET. IT SOUNDED LIKE YOU WERE FLIRTING. And what's with the weird smirk?" she said. ( sorry. I wouldn't know what flirting is because I've never done it and it's never happened to me. Well I am 13 after all) I looked at Lucy, then at Emily. Seriously? What's a guy gotta do around here to make his mate happy?  "GIRLS ARE SO CONFUSING!!!!!! I GIVE UP!!!!!!!" I said before walking out. I could hear laughing behind me. Ugh. Girls 🙄 (Natsu be nice!!!)

Lucy's POV

I can't believe that guy. How dare he!?! At least he's getting advice from Uncle right now. How do I know? Well I've known Uncle for a long time and I'm positive that he's feeling bad for Natsu right now. Heheheheh. One time, I was mad at someone for 2 months straight. Hehehehe. ( Lucy, whats with the hehehe?)

Igneel's probably telling Natsu that I give people the silent treatment when I'm mad. Uncle knows me so well. Suddenly, the door burst open. Natsu walked in with a bouquet of red roses and said "Hey gorgeous. How are you today?" with a weird smirk. I then heard someone face palm behind him. That person appeared to be Emily.

"THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU WERE MEANT TO SAY YOU DUMBO. THAT IS NOT SOMETHING SWEET. IT SOUNDED LIKE YOU WERE FLIRTING. And what's with the weird smirk?" she ended in the normal voice. Natsu then looked at me and at Emily. "GIRLS ARE SO CONFUSING!!!! I GIVE UP!!!!" he shouted before walking out.

Emily and I looked at each other and burst out laughing. "What was all that about?" I asked her. "He's trying to win you over" she said. "Well he's gonna have to try harder than that." I replied. She smiled at me. "He wants me to help him. Is that ok with you?" Emily asked me sweetly. "Of course. That boy is gonna need some help." I said.

Emily stayed for a while more and we talked about some random stuff. Night came and Natsu came in again. He looked at me waiting for me to say something. 'Sorry peasant. But you're not worthy enough for me to even acknowledge your presence' I thought. I rolled my eyes, grabbed a pillow and walked to the sofa in his room. He looked at me quizzically. "What are you doing?" he asked. I ignored him and lay down on the sofa.

Just as I closed my eyes, I felt strong comforting arms lift me up. I opened my eyes to see Natsu carrying me to the bed. As soon as he set me down, I got back up and started walking to the sofa, only to be carried by Natsu again. But this time, he didn't set me down. He laid us down and trapped me in his arms. I struggled to go but it wasn't working. "If you don't stop, I'll have to make my grip stronger." he said. I sighed and made myself more comfortable as struggling wasn't going to help anyways. I closed my eyes and before I knew it, I was asleep.

Lucy's dream starts

I woke up and I was in a meadow. It was so pretty. I started to walk around and I saw 2 bunnies playing in the grass. I saw a fox approaching the bunnies and I picked the bunnies up as I was trying to protect them. Then, an arrow flew by me. I was shocked. I looked around and saw that the meadow turned into a dark forest. I looked down and saw that I was no longer holding the bunnies. Instead, it was a pile of bones. I screamed and dropped the bones. I saw a dark figure coming towards me with a bow and arrow.

He shot an arrow at the tree beside me. It said 'I'm coming for you'. The arrow crumpled into dust before my eyes. I turned around to see the dark figure coming closer to me. Now aiming the arrow at my heart. "Don't come closer." "Leave me alone" Stop" I kept screaming. "UCY, LUCY!!!!! LUCE!!!!! LUCY WAKE UP"

Dream end

I shot up to find that I was sweating. I was also crying uncontrollably. Warm arms wrapped around me, pulling me into someone's lap. "NO DON'T HURT ME!!! GO AWAY!!!" I screamed. "Lucy snap out of it. It's me, Natsu. I'm not gonna hurt you. I promise I will never hurt you".

I opened my eyes to see that I was in Natsu's lap. I hugged him and cried onto his shoulder. "Lucy what's wrong? Wanna talk about it?" he asked. I shook my head. "N-not yet" I answered. He nodded and hugged me closer.

He was rubbing my back in a soothing manner. Whispering stuff like "it's ok" or "I'm here now" or "No one is ever gonna hurt you while I'm alive". That made me feel warm inside. What was this feeling? (Honey, it's love) I started to calm down a bit and found myself drifting off to sleep. "Th-thank you Natsu" I mumbled before falling asleep.

Natsu's POV

"Th-thank you Natsu" Lucy mumbled before falling asleep. She had me worried sick. What was she dreaming about? Who was hurting her in her dream? I hugged her closer protectively. No one is gonna hurt MY Lucy. I growled lowly. I laid us both back down and hugged her, if even possible, more closer. (Poor Lucy probably can't even breathe right now 😂) I was slowly drifting off to sleep.

I might not be able to post as much. I already said this but I made a tough exam schedule for myself. I try to post at least once in a week but it might not be possible for me to do so. I'll try to post as much as I can tho. Sorry. Peace!! ✌🏻
