I wake up with a snort as Akilah enters the den.

“Akilah?” I ask groggily and sit up. “Where we're you?” I look outside and it's In the middle of the night with only the stars shining alongside the moon, but it's as bright as day to me.

Akilah takes out her bun, and makes it into a tighter one. She looks at Willow, her feathers on her wings ruffling in the soft breeze.

“I was helping an animal give birth, the father had attacked her, because he found out it wasn't his. She was having trouble birthing, so I helped her.” She flashes Willow a small Smile.

“wow.” willow looked at her. “Dang. sad.” I get up and pat Akilah on the back.

“ speaking of babies…. Guess what I found abandoned but able to be hatched?!” I chirp excitedly.

I turn her head with mine to look at the dragon egg.

Staring at the egg Akilah blinks slowly,

“Is that a Dragon egg?”

“yes!” I jump and squeal. “I found it in a cave full of precious metals and crystals, and its abandoned so we can raise him! Or her!”

I walk briskly over to the amethyst twice as big as a human head and and grab it and turn around for her to see it.

“how about this baby, huh?” I clutch onto it.

Akilah continued to stare at the egg, brushing her bangs out of her face she glances at Willow to see what she was talking about.

“Oh, what a beautiful amethyst.” She tilted her head to get a better look at it, before looking back at the egg.

Shouldn't it be in a nest of some sorts. She gave the egg a weird look. “Is it empty? It's parents wouldn't just… leave it. That's odd behavior…” She put her hand to her chin and paced trying to find a solution.

I set the amethyst down on my bed and walk up to her again.

“ I just found it lying in the cave! I tried to smell the parents, but the only smell I got was from 6 months ago I would think!” i smile.

“and it sure isn't empty.” I giggle.

All of the sudden there's a cracking noise and a little screech.

We both turn around to stare at the cracking egg. I twitch my wings excitedly again and see violet eyes peeking out of the egg.

Hey! Just to let you know, I'll be posting once a week! And the chapters will have at least 2,000 words!!!!

Yeah. That's a lot.

Go show @Honey_Glazed love because we're treating this like an rp and she's writing what her character is doing and same for me, so without her I wouldn't be able to even think about having her do this with me
