Author's Note

Aw! It's the last chapter already. Sorry this story is short, I originally meant for it to be oneshot, so now it's an akward length. Anyways, *jazz hands* the last chapter.... (sounds so mysterious hehe lyke 'the last unicorn' or something omg)BUT FIRST OMG THIS NEW EPISODE OF FAIRY TAIL. FIRST FLARE SAVES LUCY (so dayum sweet!) THEN JERZA (HE EVEN GOT HER TO FRICKING BLUSH!) THEN THE JETxDROY BROMANCE AND THEN LEVY IS LIKE'GAJEEL' SO LYKE WISTFULLY IDK (GALEEEEEE YASSSSSSS) AND THEN GRAY FEELING UP JUVIAS ASS AND THEN GRAY FUCKING SAVES JUVIA LYKE WUT EVEN NOOOOOOO IM DYING THE FEELS TOO MUCH UGH AND GRAY IF YOU DIE IMMA DIE K UGH anyways. the chapter. yeah. ok.

Regular POV

"Laaaalalalalala" A certain white-haired mage sang, as she swept the floor excitedly, thinking of all her friends coming to meet at her house today. A pair of muscular arms wrapped around her waist and she smiled. She turned around and pecked her husband on the cheek. 

"You're in a good mood," Laxus commented, while rubbing her swollen stomach lovingly. 

"Of course I am! I'm starting a family with the man of my dreams and I get to meet all my friends to celabrate!" Mira chirped. She had found out she was a couple weeks pregnant just yesterday, and Laxus was super excited about it. He immediatly assembled a baby shower for her and invited all their close friends. 

 Soon, the doorbell rang.

"That must be Natsu and Lucy! And Happy and Igneel, too!" Mira trilled excitedly. Laxus chuckled at her hyper behavior and opened the door. 

"Mira!" Lucy callled as she flew through the doorway to greet her friend. Mira oblidged and embraced her back. Natsu soon followed with Igneel, their 7-month baby boy, who had a curl of blonde hair at his forehead. Laxus and Natsu went to the tv and Mira and Lucy headed for the kitchen, where they chatted until Evergreen and Elfman arrived (They just confessed to each other a week ago!). Next was Gajeel and Levy with their baby girl, Milan and Lily. Jellal and 8-month pregnant Erza arrived, with Gray, Juvia and Skylar (The shyest 1-year old you'll ever meet) following. After that arrived Bixlow and Lisanna (They married about half a year ago). Finally, Romeo, Wendy and Carla. 

"Ahhhh, all my ships are here. So nice." Mira mumbled while reminding herself smugly 'you're the reason why half the couples here confessed their love'. Everyone was partying, even the kids (they were using apple juice as beer) until an unexpected guest arrived. "Who-?" Mira started before realizing that it was Freed at the door. "F-Freed?" Mira quavered, her hands shaking and tears forming in the corners of her eyes. He smiled, a bit sadly, and replied, "It's me,". The whole room erupted into cheers and happy crying. You see, after Mira rejected Freed, he left to train in the mountains, for a year. Mira ran forward and hugged him. She hadn't seen or touched him in the entire year. Neither had Laxus. Freed tentativley hugged Mira back while Laxus gave him a hearty pound on the back. Soon everyone was bawling and hugging the green- haired mage. Well, all except the kids. They were just sitting down on the floor away from the parents with popcorn, soda, and dafaq faces. 

"This is better than The Notebook," Nashi mumbled to Milan (they couldn't speak yet, so they talked in baby language so it sounded like 'njdsfnncjdsdn,') , who nodded in agreement. Mira finally noticed the kids, and suggested to introduce them.

The children stared up at the rune-mage in adorable curiousity, while wrapping their arms around said man's legs. It was the most kawaii sight ever. A flustered and slightly weeping Freed surrounded by a bunch of kids hugging his legs. The cameras went off, and after the kids were tugged off Freed, all the adults partied while the kids watched Dora (so basically the same thing). There was so much to celebrate, and so much happiness. In the midst of all the partying, Freed, and Mira caught each other's eyes. 'Thank you for forgiving me.' She thought. Freed smiled sadly at her again, but turned away as Laxus shuffled by her side. She smiled at him and he grinned back. They both turned to Freed. He only nodded. All is well. Everything is ok in the end.

So there it is. I was going to set Freed up with someone, but I didn't because 1. Who the heck do I pair him up with? 2. That's so fricking cliche! Ugh! I mean, I can be pretty cliche at times but this is not one of them. And 3. The anime world isn't perfect! I thought it was at first but that was partly because of Haru's abs from Free! but I realized it wasn't after watching Soul Eater (They didn't succeed in not waking the kishin!). Not only Soul Eater. Yup! So making it seem that way didn't appeal to me, I guess. So thank you for reading! And I hope you enjoyed this fic. See you soon!
