Chapter 2

Levy's POV

I woke up as the sun shines through my window. I close my eyes, then reopen them as they adjust to the bright sunlight streaming into the room. A groan escape my lips as I sit up. The birds chirp as they continue on with whatever they are doing. I smile softly and I get out of my bed. I slowly and surely get ready for the day. I get changed into my favorite orange dress. I hum a song as I tie my bandana in its regular place on my head to keep my hair out of my way. I head towards the kitchen, when someone knocks on my door.

"I'll be there in a second," I call out as I place my red sandals on and head to the door.

I open the door to see Jet and Droy there.

"LEVY," they call out as they give me a hug.

"Hey guys! What are you doing here so early," I ask my best friends.

"We were going to walk you to work, because we heard about young women getting kidnapped and we wanted to keep you safe," Droy explains.

"Oh. Have they figured out who have been taking them," I ask as I head to my kitchen to eat some breakfast.

"No. No one knows," Jet says.

"Ok. Thanks for walking with me to my job," I say as I smile and grab some breakfast.

I quickly pack my bag and I lock my door as we head towards a little café/bookstore. We talk about what has been happening around Magnolia lately as we soon reach where I work.

"I'll see you guys later," I tell them as I enter the store.

"Ah Levy! Nice of you to show up on time," my boss says as I smile at him.

"It's nice to be able to work here. I'll go and get started," I say as I head towards the bookstore part of the building.

I hum as I start to place the new books on the shelves. The day flies by in a blink of an eye. Soon enough, it's time to close up the bookstore part of the business.

"I'm going to lock the bookstore up," I holler to my boss as I take my set of keys as I close the door.

"Sounds like a good idea Levy," he says as I make sure I correctly lock the door. "Be careful of your way home. Don't want those trouble makers to grab you."

"I will," I say as I look at my boss. "Well then, I'll see you tomorrow!"

"Good night Levy," my boss says as the front door closes behind me.

I smile as I start to walk back towards my cottage. The wind blows softly through the village as I look around to see the shops slowly closing up, one by one. I smile and wave at people as I walk by.

"Ah Levy-Chan! Here, have a rose," the florist says as she hands me one. "It will look lovely in your cottage."

"Thank you," I tell the kind old woman as I take the flower and I continue on.

"Ah Levy! Are you reading any new books," a man from up in a window calls out.

"Oh yes. I just started one about a world full of superheroes who must save the world from evil aliens," I tell him. "I heard that the two main characters fall in love."

"Oh I know that one. I know you will enjoy that book. So many adventures and a bit of romance. The perfect combination of both, of you ask me," he replies.

"I'll tell you what I think about it once I finish reading it," I tell him.

"Alright then. Safe trip home!"

"I will!"

I soon reach the edge of the forest where my house is in. It's about a two minute walk into the woods down a path that I have place stones on so I don't get lost. I hum a song as I walk into the woods. I suddenly heard a twig snapping from behind me. I turn my head just as a hand covers my mouth. I let out a muffled cry in surprise.

"Oh my. What is a pretty little girl doing here all alone," he says as he chuckles darkly. "Unlucky for you, my dear, that you stumbled upon me. Now then, you will be coming with me. If you try and call for help, then you will be punished," he says as tears prick my eyes. "Now don't cry. Where ever you are going, I know you will make me rich."

Coral's POV
/Yes, this is the same Coral from the other book/

I groan as my eyes flutter open. I heard footsteps approach as I look up and at the door. The person opens the door and I recognize the crowned prince as he walks in.

"So you are the one who is holding me prisoner, Son of Acnologia, the Crowned Prince Ein. Or should I call you by your birth name," I say as he growls.

"Quite! You think I want to be reminded about the monster of a father," he says as his anger flares. "I am Prince Ein! I am not a monster. I am especially not a dragon. You and the rest of your kind are demons," he spats out.

"Oh Ein. You cannot deny who you are," I say as I sigh out. "You must remember that you can do good with your dragon side. Chaos is not all bad," I tell him.

/I'm this story, Acnologia is the Chaos Dragon. It never did say what element he used. So I'm gonna make it Chaos in this one/

"Shut up," he says as he draws his sword and flares at me. "Once you are dead, the dragon's culture will die with you!"

"There will always be Dragon Guardians," I say as he laugh.

"Yeah right! Face it Coral, you are the last one. Acnologia killed all the others and I will bring the downfall of the dragons! They will disappear and just become myths and legends," Ein says.

"You will fall into the darkness. You know that once you kill me," I say as I glance up at him.

"If it will get rid of Dragons, then so be it."

I smile sadly as Ein then drives his sword through my chest.

"M-my mate will be your downfall," I gasp out.

"No she won't," he says.

I close my eyes as I take my last breath.

Silver's POV

I stop walking as I look out over the valley. A wind blows by as I smile sadly.

"Goodbye old friend. May you rest in peace," I mutter out as I look at my wrist.

A faint silver dragon tattoo appears. With one last glance behind me, I start to walk forwards.

/I'm sad now. Goodbye Coral, my first Dragon-Slayer/
