Bias in rural voting 'Downunder'?? After conversation about weather, and crops, and last week's stock sales, the local UNbiased, amazingly knowledgeable political pundit, will check that you ARE going to vote the RIGHT way?

Commonly, many polling places boasting only the local hall and a tennis court, are empty of officials... the general way of things since aborigines were painting in caves.

We learned the rules early. No attendant... just an open, used cardboard box of ballot papers weighted by a rock, bearing drops of blood and a large 'Bowie-type' knife atop.

Voters were rendered speechless—AND compliant—strangely!
