Elijah was cuffed to the floor of the cellar and then Arachne was moved into the cell with him. The guard locked her to the floor as well before leaving. She looked so tired with heavy bags under her eyes and she was skinner than ever, her bones defined. "Arachne," Elijah whispered. "You're okay."

"Barely," she snarled, turning away from him yet again. Something was off about Arachne that Elijah couldn't pinpoint. He realized that she still thought he captured her on purpose.

"I would never lie to you, Arachne. I didn't bring you to the Cybill Castle only for you to be killed in front of the public, that's cruel. I brought you here so that we could assassinate my parents and you'll get my mother's dark powers."

Arachne smiled slightly, sighing. "Well, we'll be stuck here for a while," she said, resting on Elijah's thigh. The cellar was small, there was barely any space for one person alone. "We need to find a way to escape before my execution."

Suddenly, the door opened and a tall, young man walked in. He noticed the two and his eyes went wide. "A-Arachne?" He stuttered, running up to the cell, grasping the bars. Elijah realized the young man had Arachne's pale skin and white hair, but it was a buzzcut instead.

"Phalanx?" Arachne whispered, gasping. "You're a Cybill Castle guard?" Elijah blinked as Phalanx nodded. This was not the way he wanted to meet her brother, definitely not while she was basically on his lap. To be fair, it was the only way they could sit on the floor.

"Money was getting hard to get, Mother's dead and Father's purple dying business isn't doing well." Phalanx nodded at Elijah and he most definitely realized that his sister was on his lap. "Prince Elijah?"

"Probably just Elijah now that Abel's saying I'm confessing to attempted treason," he shrugged as Arachne stood up. "...He's not completely wrong." Arachne and Phalanx exchanged words before she swore.

"I'm only on shift, I don't have a key for you," Phalanx explained, pacing around. It was dark despite it being probably mid-day and everyone was feeling anxious. "Sister, they're going to hang you for your execution."

Arachne paled. "N-No."

He grimaced "Favour of Queen Athena."

"Can't you steal the key?" Elijah asked.

"And compromise all of our lives? Not a chance, the guards will know what's up."

"Damn," she cursed. Suddenly, a few more guards entered and Phalanx went pale. "What do you want?" Arachne spat as the guard unlocked the cell's door. She glanced at Elijah and they both understood what was happening. "No! You can't take me! I won't s-stand for this!"

They grabbed her as someone else unlocked her handcuffs. "Arachne!" Elijah screamed, trying to get to her. His cuffs resisted as he yelled her name repeatedly. Phalanx stood there, frozen, as they took her out the door. One of the remaining guards turned to Phalanx.

"Hey, are you comin'?"

"What? But there always has to be a guard watching the prisoners—"

"I bet ya can skip watchin' duty for a clean execution," the guard shrugged, heading out the door. "Don't ya dare be late, Phalanx." Elijah looked at Phalanx, groaning.

"What do we do?"

Phalanx suddenly got an idea, slipping something through the bars. CLINK! "PHALANX!" The guard roared and Phalanx hurried off. Elijah scooted to see what it was—it was a sewing needle, probably one of Arachne's.

What good will a sewing needle do me? Elijah thought before realizing Phalanx wanted him to use it to picklock the handcuffs chained to the floor. He held it in his mouth, jamming it into the keyhole, jiggling it around until it CLICKED!

The cuffs fell to the floor and he sighed in relief. He rubbed his wrists, getting up. I need to find Arachne, Elijah thought as he also picklocked the cellar's lock. The door swung up as he walked out.

I'm getting you back, Spidey.
