"Have you heard about my race this weekend?"

"I heard, are you nervous?" Our free period was almost coming to an end, good, my feet were starting to fall asleep, being crumbled up on the library floor.

"Nervous?" He frowns, clearly insulted. "I don't get nervous, I get excited." I roll my eyes. "Fine, are you excited then?"

"Yeah, are you coming?" He asks.

"Vale, you know racing isn't really my scene."

"Right, you like painting flowers and butterflies with Masetti." He was referring to Anthoine whose mother was a pretty well known artist.

"No. I just don't like watching someone drive around in circles like a hamster."

"Ride..." He corrects. "We ride around in circles".

"It's not a horse Vale." I smirk. He shakes his head. "Fine thought I'd invite you since you wouldn't stop staring at me during lunch." He leaves me choking on my own saliva. "I wasn't staring at you, I was staring at whatever you call that." I point to his yellow head.

"You don't like it?"

"I didn't say that, I just meant that it was hard not to stare." He was about to counter, when the bell interrupted. "Better get to class." I said, rising to my feet, Valentino mimics my move. We start making óur way down the forgotten aisle and out the library.

"Fine let's do something else then. I'm free on Friday?" His words make me pause mid step. "You want to do something with me, outside of school." I make sure to make big gestures with my hands. He laughs at my bizzare demonstration. "Yeah." He shrugs. "Unless you don't want to." I am left speechless. "Sheesh...I guess we could do something, however I'm goin to the movies with Lydia and Anthoine on Friday."

"You are? Which one?"

"Graveyard Soirée." I answer reluctantly. "Nice I've been meaning to go see it, too bad my friends are too chicken to see it with me. Is it okay If I tag along?"

My eyes widened in surprise. "I guess, just have to ask Lyd..."

"Cool see you Friday." And just like that he was gone. Out of site. "Poof" Like our conversation had been something completely casual. I don't know, maybe this was a good thing, at least I wouldn't be third wheeling If Valentino came with us on Friday. All I had to do was break it to Lydia and Anthoine, I'm sure they won't mind.
