Liam's pov

I managed to summarize everything that has happened within few minutes to my parents but they still looked like they didn't understand what I meant.

It was nice that I had Andy to back me up.
"So why is she staying here" mum asked.
"She attends our school now and she's graduating with us." Andy replied "and her house is not here so she has to stay here till graduation" I elaborated.

"Fine but it's just on one condition" dad pointed out.
"what dad?" Andy and I said simultaneously.
"None of what we saw previously should occur under our roof again" dad warned.
"what... " Andy said turning to me.
"shhh..." I stopped her from talking "I promise it won't happen again" then I replied my dad.

"Fine, she can stay till graduation" mom agreed.
I was happy everything went well but I was still bothered how Jackie was going to cope after graduation on  her own.

I decided to go and break the good news to Jackie.

Jackie's pov

I sat on my bed still anticipating the decision Liam's parents were going to take. It felt like eternity waiting but as the knob on my door turned, I knew the wait was finally over.

"Jackie guess what" Liam said jumping on the bed making me bounce out of the bed almost falling flat on the floor.
"what... is it" I asked anxiously.
"You can stay here..." Liam stopped and gave a small forceful grin.
I knew something was wrong but since he didn't tell me, he must have a reason. At least I get to stay here.
"That's nice...I'm so happy" I said smiling back at Liam.
"how about we watch movies tonight. Just both of us" he suggested specifying the "Just both of us" because he knew that out of ignorance of his plan, I would invite Andy.

"As tempting as that sounds, I'll just have to pass"

"Why"

"Exams begins in two days and you know that I'm lagging behind " I explained.
He looked really disappointed but what could I do. I had to choose between graduating and watching movies.
"OK I'll see you later" he said looking down. I didn't like seeing Liam like this.
"wait...how about we just lay down here for a while before I start reading" I suggested adjusting for him to join me.
"Sure..." he said lying on the bed first without hesitation.

We stayed like on the bed with my head on his chest. I could feel his heartbeat and it sounded like music to my ears.
"what are planning to do after graduation" he asked patting the back of my hair. It felt nice but the question he just asked made me wonder what the future holds for me.
I only had little money I made from my last job. I can't go back to my step mom place. That thought made me remember that I had neither my mom or my dad picture with me. I missed them so much even if I don't show it.

"babe, what's the matter? You don't look alright" he stared at me concerned.
"it's nothing important. Don't worry about it"

"babe, anything about you is important for me. You and Andy are the top two most important people for me so tell what's on your mind".

"its just that I don't really know what to do after graduation. If my mom or my dad were here, than things wouldn't have been like this.  It's not that I don't enjoy our time together, it's just that I really missed them and it would have been great if I had their pictures with me. The only picture I have of them are in m step moms house".

"I'm sorry for not knowing you were hurting this much. Don't worry, I'm always here for you" he reassured.

"It not your fault. Being with you makes me forget about my problems sometimes. With you by my side, it's like I've gained a father, mother, brother, friend and above all the love of my life. What more could I ask for" I grinned. "I'll see you later, I have something to take care of" he said while trailing off but not before he left a kiss on my cheek.

Liam really knows how to make my heart flutter more than normal.

So early in the morning. What was Liam planning this time. He must really be a fan of surprises.
After minutes of deciding what to wear, I finally settled with a blue ripped jean short, a white blouse which I'm a limited edition was written boldly on it then a white and black snickers.

As I made my way towards the living room, the sweet smell of omelette found its way to nostrils. It's been awhile since I ate omelette, actually since mum died I haven't eaten it. It was mum signature dish. When it came to omelette, she could never go wrong.
I proceeded towards the kitchen forgetting that Liam's parents were home.
I walked straight towards where the omelette was placed carefully on the dinning. It had cheese topping which was carefully placed. It looked exactly like mom's that for some minutes, I actually thought my mom was still alive.

"dear, would you like your breakfast now" Mrs summers asked but I couldn't reply because I was too busy  day dreaming of my mum.

"what happened" Liam's voice brought me back to reality."why are you staring at the omelette as though you've seen a ghost" he continued.
A tear escaped my eyes unconsciously. I guess I was disappointed that it was all in my imagination.

"Don't you like omelette" Mr summers asked looking confused.

"No... no I... Love them.  In fact they are my favorite. My mom used to make them for me exactly like this, that's why I was shocked" i sat down in attempt to start eating.
I immediately dug in and started eating without realizing that everyone was not eating but looking at me.

After I was through, I noticed four pairs of eyes staring at me in amazement and just then I noticed I had almost finished the entire omelette.

"I'm sorry... I didn't realize that I ate almost everything" I apologized with my cheeks turning red from embarrassment.

"where are both of you going all dressed up so early" Andy asked with a suspicious look plastered on her face.
" we are just going to get something important. We might stay out late also" Liam answered.

Something important, Stay out late, what could he be planning again?

"Don't forget to keep your phone switched on" Mrs summers smiled warmly.

It feels nice to enjoy the early morning breeze especially from Liam's car. The car moved like a speed of light(exaggeration) which made the breeze hit my face.
The ride was silent and this made me forget all my worries.
We were at the outskirt of the city and Liam was still moving really fast. I didn't know what was on his mind and where he was going.

"Were are we going" curiosity filled my mind.
"its a surprise, when we get there you'll know" he smiled with one of his hands on mine and the other hand for driving.

Few minutes later, i dozed off to wonder land.

As i slowly opened my eyes, there was a very familiar scent which covered the entire atmosphere.
"we're here" Liam's whispered into my ears. My eyes scanned the environment before it finally landed on my house, i mean my step mom's house.
"what are we doing here" my gaze shifted to Liam confusingly.

"You looked like you missed your parents a lot so i thought you should be closer to them by having their things and pictures with you. You know i don't like seeing you unhappy"

Even if i didn't want to see my step mom or Emily, i still had to do this.
"thank you so much. You've done so much for me while haven't done anything for you"
"don't say that. We both know that you being in my life is more than enough for me" he stretched his arm out for a hug which i willingly obliged.
  
We both stepped out of the car making our way towards the door. It felt like eternity as i counted each step i took.
After knocking for more than ten minutes, it was clear that there was no one at home. I was now left with one option because i can't wait for them all day. It was to go and meet Emily in school.

I didn't want to cross paths with those bully's but its what i must do. We drove all the way to Greenwoods high to find Emily.
The environment hasn't changed a bit. The jocks and the cheerleaders were busy in the school resting area doing God knows what while they enjoy picking on weaker vessels. Once upon a time, i was one of those weaker vessels although i was tougher than the others.
"should I go in with you or do you want to do it on your own" Liam asked with his hands still enveloping mine.
"I'll go on my own" i replied because i didn't want Liam to see the hell my life used to be. He has done enough for me already.

Walking into the hallway rekindled my horror for this hallway. As i walked through, students started pointing and whispering things among themselves. There was terror printed on their faces. It was like they were seeing a ghost.
"Hey sexy, you must be new at Greenwoods" a voice said behind me. I turned slowly to see who it was and behold, it was the j3 boys with Jackson at the middle.
"Nice to meet you again Jackson" i said confidently.
"holy shit...Jackie... You...how are you...you here" he stuttered.
 
"Yes I'm not dead" i sassily replied.
"You look different" he stated in a blunt expression.

"where's Emily" i asked blankly.
"is it the rays from the sun or have you always looked this hot" he flirted.

"That was a really cheesy pick up line Jackson"

"okay fine can we meet up later"  he asked.
"i don't..." i got cut off " if it isn't my low life step sister rising from the dead" Emily and her crew walked in. It seems like she had recruited more minions because it was no longer just Amy and Zoe.
"Emily i didn't come here for a fight, i just need my stuff from the house"

"Your stuff?" she snickered "A dead persons stuff is not left just lying around. It is either thrown away or burnt" she continued.

"You wouldn't dare burn the pictures of my parents"
"of course i would and I've already  done it. It gave me pleasure to do it. I got the chance to remove the belongings of that cheap mother of yours. I was even more glad when i heard you were dead. In fact we celebrated it."

"How dare you refer to my mother as cheap. The house you and your mother are calling yours, my mum bought it with her hard earned money. Both you and your mom are gold diggers" i bit back with tears gathered in my eyes. I don't know why my eyes easily becomes teary.

"did you just call me and my mum gold diggers? You're such a whore. Within few minutes of being here, you were already flirting with my boyfriend" she clung to Jackson.

"I wouldn't waste my time on a guy like Jackson after all i already have a boyfriend" i retorted.

"i can't believe you just said boyfriend. Whose going to want to date you. Even Eddy the nerd wouldn't give you a second glance"  the crowd which i didn't know gathered around us till now roared with laughter. I felt so embarrassed.

"Eddy the nerd wouldn't give her a second glance but she definitely has my entire attention" Liam said wrapping his hand round my shoulders.

One way to make a grand entrance.

All girls present were practically drooling over Liam including Emily.
"This is my bitc... step sister Emily".
Emily just stood there looking dumbstruck.

"hi, I'm Liam Jackie's boyfriend" he introduced himself. "Would you be nice enough to give me Jackie's things. I mean that's if you don't mind, It's really really important to me"

"I'm... I mean... Yes of course I'll...I'll give you everything you need" she stuttered.

"thanks i appreciate it" Liam smirked.
Liam really knows his way around girls.

"would you mind taking us there now to get the things. I'm in hurry"
"of course. Anything for you" she flirted. I knew her tricks wouldn't work on Liam.

We walked out to enter the car but the car was completely surrounded by boys and girls who were drooling over Liam's car.
" both the car and it's owner are gorgeous. Jackie is so lucky" a blond girl from cheer leading team said. 

I could see anger on Emily's face as her efforts were rendered futile and this made me happy.

We finally took all my belongings including my mum and dad's picture which was carelessly kept in the basement.

"honey I'm home" Emily's mum voiced echoed from the the sitting room.

"I'm coming mum" she trailed away from were we were standing. After getting all i needed, we proceeded to leave the house.
My step mum didn't say anything. She just kept looking at me and Liam. It seemed that Emily has already briefed her about everything.

"do you both live together. I mean are your parents okay with her living with you" my step mum asked Liam.

"yes they love having Jackie around" Liam smiled looking at me.

It was almost sunset and we were not even close to the house.
Liam kept smiling all the way as if he won a jackpot.
"why are you smiling" i asked.

"you must be really happy you have an handsome boyfriend like me as your knight and shinning amour" he smirked.

"Your ego must have risen since all the girls in Greenwoods were drooling over you"

"of course. Not only in Greenwoods but everywhere else"

"you are so full of yourself" i hit his arm.

"You must know i have many girls in my life..."

"what? You have other girls in your life? Not just one but many"

"yes" he answered with a blank expression.

"don't ever talk to me again" i turned to face the window.

"You didn't let me finish my statement" he said but i paid deaf ears.
"i have many girls in my life but just one in my heart and that's you" he held my hand.
"you enjoy taunting me right"
"yeah its fun for me" he smiled.
"I'll always love you Jackie, always"

"i love you too babe" i replied.

I really enjoyed writing this chapter and i hope you enjoy reading it too.
The book is almost coming to an end. The book will be edited later on so don't mind the flaws i made.
