Training
After I woke up, There was about a month before school starts. During this time, I picked up another two quirks. I was out on the beach one day, training my quirks just out of sight of the city. I kept trying to push my flame quirk to do what I'd seen it do during the exam, but I could barely get any further than a well fuelled lighter. Anyway, I guess I pushed myself too hard, and I passed out. When I woke up I was in a hospital bed, and I was told I had simply passed out from exhaustion, and that I was fine.
Sadly, on my walk out the hospital, I had to walk past the emergency care unit, and I could feel it. Once as I stopped at a vending machine, and again just I was leaving the building. While I was there, two people died. I never knew their names, but as they left this world for the next, they passed onto me a gift that I will carry with me for the rest of my life, a gift which only I could have received.
Out of a feeling of obligation, I made a sizable of a donation as I could to the hospital before I left, hoping that more don't end up like the poor souls that passed there today. Once I got back home, I explained to my mum where I'd been for so long, and after calming her down, and telling her I was fine, I went to my room to try out what I had been given. They were both wonderful. The first I tried worked around my hands, If I held an object in my hand and concentrated, an exact copy would appear in the other, forming out of a thin smoke which solidified into the object.
The second I could feel worked around my upper back. As I closed my eyes and focused, I heard the tearing of fabric, and I felt my shirt fall off me. Opening my eyes I scrambled to my mirror, and I watched as a gargantuan set of wings unfurled from behind me. Snow white and feathery, glittering with thousands of tiny sparks from my first quirk, they took up almost all the space in my room when I spread them. Using my bed as a makeshift measuring tape, they were just a little over two meters long each, giving me a wingspan of around four and a half meters, or a little under 15 feet.
Suddenly, I heard a call for dinner, and I panicked a little. But thankfully, as I tried to furl my wings, they quickly began to disintegrate, leaving an outline in glowing sparks as they disappeared before they too faded, leaving me in my room, surrounded by shreds of my shirt. After donning a new shirt, I made my way to the kitchen where my mum was waiting with dinner, which is where I decided to unveil my two newest quirks. I waited for the right moment to do so, and it came about when she said "Sorry honey, we're nearly out of salt, we've only got a sachet left". With a smile I picked it up and closed my hand around it. "Really? I could have sworn we had two." I remarked to a puzzled look. I opened my other hand and gave her the sachet to an even more puzzled look.
"Mum, its a new quirk" I said to a brightening face. "And that's not all! Follow me real quick" I voiced as I got up from the table, setting my empty plate next to the sink. With mum in tow, I went out our apartment and took the stairs to the roof. It was a completely clear night, the stars lighting up in a beautiful display, and the near-full moon shining just the right of pale light down upon us. "Watch this!" I breathlessly announced as I took off my shirt, and to an awe-struck gasp, unfurled my great white wings once again, twinkling with thousands of sparks that lit them up as though they were aflame.
And, for the first time, with one great beat of my wings, I soared up into the night sky, sending a cascade of sparks down, burning up before they hit anything. That night was the first of many, as I streaked across the city, people looked up in wonderment and awe at the beautiful show I was creating, doing loops and spins, all sending a stunning display to the onlookers below. Quirk use in public is illegal, neither the police nor heroes ever tried to stop me. They all simply watched with a smile, just like the citizens as I burned my way into the memories of all those that were watching.
Izuku Midoriya:
Quirk Count: 5
Gathering: This quirk can copy the quirk of anyone in a undefined range that happens to pass away. This quirk can then be used for the rest of Izuku's life.
Spark: This quirk makes the hairs on Izuku's body have similar properties to that of the flint in a lighter. With the application of friction, this can produce a great number of sparks. The hair that is lost by this process grows back instantaneously. Izuku can increase the heat of the sparks as he wishes, although he has minor control over this process.
Little Light: This quirk can produce a small flame on Izuku's body wherever he pleases, however it is easiest on his fingertips. The flame rarely goes above 6 inches in length, however has been shown to emit incredible amounts of heat and power in extreme situations.
Duplicate: This quirk can copy an object in one hand, and produce a perfect replica of said object in the other. The process becomes more difficult as the size of the object grows, with it seemingly capping out around the size of a small football.
Angel: This quirk gives Izuku a pair of a large white wings, with a wingspan of 4.63 meters. This combines with Sparks to create a very visually appealing glitter effect, making the wings almost appear as though they are aflame. Upon last official measurement, Izuku's top speed while flying is 94mph.
