Finn's POV

Rey and I went to dinner at the campus pizza parlor and took a seat at a booth in the corner.

"How was the party?" I asked.

"Some drunk guy put their arm around around me and then spilled beer all over my favorite shirt and then you won't believe what happened next—" she was cut off by the waiter who asked if we were ready to order yet.

"Yeah, we'll get a medium supreme to share." I tell her, handing her our menus.

"And to drink?" She asks writing down our pizza order.

"I'll have a coke." I tell her, then she looks to Rey.

"Same." Rey tells her and the waiter jots it down, then walks away.

"So, what happened?" I ask.

"I got roomed with a guy!" She almost shouts across the table.

"No way." I gasp.

"Right!" She almost shouts again. "And he's a total jerk!"

"You should put up a barrier."

The waitress comes over and sets down our drinks.

"I did." Rey grins.

"Oh my god, what did he do?" I smile back and take a sip of coke.

"He totally ignored me, like the asshole he is!"

"Wow, he probably thinks he's some badass or something."

"Totally." She sips her coke. "He was wearing all black too, like some emo kid."

I chuckle. "He probably thinks he's all cool because he listens to heavy metal."

"If he even tries to blast heavy metal, I will destroy his speaker." She laughs.

"He brought a speaker?"

"I don't know, I didn't watch him unpack, barrier remember?"

"Oh yeah. What if you walk in on him fucking some girl?" I ask curiously.

"Oh my god. I didn't even think of that."

"Go over the sock rule with him."

"The sock rule?"

"Yeah." I tell her. "It's where you put a sock on the door signalling the roommate to stay out."

"That's actually a good idea."

Our pizza arrives and we start stuff our faces. I walk Rey to her dorm and notice the amount of guys in the hallway, this really is a guys' dormitory.

Rey's POV

I push my ear to the door to make sure nothing is going on and only hear silence. I enter the room and turn the light on and see that Kylo is sound asleep. I quickly turn off the light, so I don't wake him.

I grab my pajamas and go into the bathroom to get ready for bed. I know tomorrow is going to be a long a first day.

I hear my alarm go off and remember classes start today and drag myself out of bed.

I hear Kylo groan out of annoyance, as I entered the bathroom and roll my eyes at him.

I shower and get dressed, then when I'm about to blow dry my hair, there's a knock on the door.

"How much longer are you going to be?" He complains.

"I just need to blow dry my hair and do some make up."

"Do it out here."

I roll my eyes, but know I can do it out there as well, so I grab my stuff and go.

Kylo's POV

I shower quickly and grab my blow dryer out of my bag, passing Rey, who sits doing her make up.

"What time is your first class?" She asks me.

"8 a.m." I tell her plugging in the blow dryer in the bathroom.

"Me too."

"Cool." I raise my eyebrows sarcastically and turn on the blow dryer to silence her.

I finish getting ready and almost bump into her, as I swing my backpack on.

"Sorry." I mumble and Rey just spares me a glance and leaves the room.

I follow her until we part ways at the bottom of the stairs.

I grab a breakfast sandwich at a food cart on my way to class and get a Powerade from a vending machine.

I enter the Forum Hall and see a mixture of different students waiting for the Creative Fiction Writing class to begin. Some have laptops, other notebooks, even a couple with nothing.

I walk up the stairs to almost the top row and take a seat on the edge with my breakfast. I pull out my laptop and open a new Google Document, ready to take whatever notes.

The door continues opening as more students come to class and finally 10 minutes late, the teacher arrives in a coffee drenched shirt.

"Spilled my coffee this morning, in case you couldn't tell." He loosens his tie and sets his briefcase down.  "Anyone else feel like coming back tomorrow and forgetting this class?" He looks around. "Alright, get out of here."

I chuckle and close my laptop. I shove the last bite of my sandwich in my mouth and wash it down with the last of my Powerade. 

I make my way down the stairs and a girl in the 3rd row steps out and I've already started down on the step. 

"Sorry!" She shouts and shrinks her shoulder in as if that would make her not in my way suddenly. She glances over. 

"Watch when you step out into the aisle next time." I tell Rey and step around her. 

"Asshole." I hear her murmur and turn around.

"I didn't walk out in front of you sweetheart." I turn back and head out the Forum Hall.
