"Danielle Marie Jones," Principal Walker said standing on the stage in front of a crowd of people. Dani walked up onto the stage and was handed her diploma, something she never thought she would get. She had never thought this day would come, where her friends and family would be with her as this chapter of her life ends.

As she exited the stage, she looked at her class and began to wonder where they would all be next year and the years after that. Little did she know most of them would be gone.

After the caps flew into the air, the class gathered outside of the school and waited for their family.

"I'm so proud of you," Dani heard someone say behind her. It was her aunt Trisha. Dani rapped her arms around her aunt's neck smiling. "Your mom would be so proud of you, Dani," Trisha said as she wiped tears from her eyes. Dani smiled and kissed her cheek, "Some of the group is going out tonight, can I go with them," she asked beginning to walk away knowing her aunt would say yes.

She saw her group of friends standing under the old willow tree where they had always met up after school. "I can't believe we did it," Joseph said hugging Dani. Dani then proceeded to hug and kiss her boyfriend, Ronnie Sol. "I'm gonna miss you so much," he said squeezing her waist, "I'll come visit you all the time, Dani." Dani smiled and ushered him to go before he missed his plane. "Well that's one of us down," Camille said beginning to get upset, "I can't believe he decided to go to college in New York." Dani began to tear up again thinking about how far away it is "It's a huge opportunity for him. He needed to go and get out of River Run." She began to think about what she would do now that she is out of school. She didn't have good enough grades to get into college, so what would she do besides work at Walter's Cafe?

As Dani, Joseph, and Camille drove down the street to the lake, they passed a yellow Corvette. Joseph saw the driver and noticed they looked extremely similar to Dani. "Whoa, that person looked just like you, Dani" he said turning his head to watch the vehicle disappear into the fog that began to grow around them. After he focused back to the front, the yellow Corvette turned around and began to follow them. The group didn't notice it, they hadn't even realized the fog growing.

Dani parked her car and the three graduates ran out of the car and towards the water. Camille then noticed how dark it had gotten and the thick fog. "You guys, why is it so foggy and dark," she said as Dani and Joseph splashed into the water. Camille then began to walk down to the water, but was stopped by someone behind her. They were biting her neck, draining the blood from her body. She screamed before the monster could kill her. Dani and Joseph quickly ran out of the water to find Camille laying on the ground with her neck covered in her blood. While Joseph called the ambulance, she pulled Dani closer to her to whisper something in her ear. "She said it's just the beginning, Dani," Camille said before she fainted. Dani looked at her with confusion. Who is she?
