Jay finds Samurai X and manages to unmask their identity...sorta

Nunchucks in hand, Jay spots the lone figure crouched by the river, their back turned to him. He edges closer, preparing to strike.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you."

Their voice was masked by...well, the mask, disguising the tone effectively.

Jay gripped the handles tighter, "Give me one good reason why."

"Because I can still beat you on my worst days,"

He chuckled, "Cocky, are we? You remind me of a friend. But I'm stronger than I let on."

"Your mouth seems to be the one doing all the moving instead," The Samurai stood up, "and I'm not here to fight. Just picking something up."

Jay couldn't help but notice the warrior's gaze avert to the tree beside him. Looking over, he discovered a leather pouch. He held it up, "You mean this?"

"Hand it over. It holds greater power than you realise."

The ninja clad in blue spoke with a low pitch, "Come and get it then if you want it so bad."

*cue intense spar scene*

Jay finally managed to wrestle his opponent to the ground, panting as he reached for the mask, "Let's see who you really are then, Samurai."

Tugging at the cloth and metal, he gasped as it came loose, his eyes widening as long black hair came on show, with painted red lips.

"You're a girl?!"

She smirked, breathing heavily, her hand edging for a rock, "A woman."

Before Jay could register what came next, she'd knocked him out cold with the rock. Grabbing the pouch, she made a run for it.
