Chapter 14. Timey-Wimey
Leyna's POV
I heard people walking towards the cell, but chose to stay seated at one of the concrete beams. The footsteps came closer and closer until the door opened and in came 3 men, one of them the Doctor. One of the other ones was wearing war clothes an looked like an old man, and the other one I had seen before, the man at the cemetery. The man with the bowtie. He
instantly noticed me as I instantly noticed him.
"Leyna!" he ran over, hugging me.
"Oh it's been so long!"
The Doctor looked over at us, afraid what bowtie would say.
"Who are you?" I asked him. His hands were still on my shoulders because of the hug from before. I took his hand off my shoulders and he looked back at the Doctor.
He looked back at me saying "I'm the future Doctor."
Then the scruffy old man waved at me and said "I'm the old Doctor."
"Three Doctors, in one room, isn't that like a paradox?" I asked. Shouldn't time rip apart right about now?
Eleven sat down beside me and said, "Timey-Wimey."
"Oh my," the old man said, still have no idea which regeneration he is, but I'll ask him later, "when did I start saying that?" He looked over from eleven to my Doctor.
"I don't know where he gets it from", my Doctor lied. The two of them went back to sonicking. Then eleven picked up some carving tools and started chiseling the wall.
"What are you doing?" I asked. I started tracing my fingers around the carvings.
"Sending a message."
"To who?" the blonde girl asked. I don't even know where she came from.
"Well?" I asked him, I guess he was a bit rude to not answer her question. I mean, he used to love her.
"Well what?" he looked at me. And I heard a sonic stop buzzing. I looked over to see-- I'll call him the war doctor, looking back at me.
"You can hear it too." I confirmed. The old man looked at where the blonde was sitting.
Eleven looked confused but went back to chiseling. The old man and I exchanged glances before we both went back to what we were doing.
"So, who are you sending the message to?"
"Clara." he responded, still chiselling away.
"Do you like her?"
He stopped chiselling and looked at me, "I never pick companions I don't like."
He smiled at me. Wow, so there it goes. Eleven just confirmed it. My Doctor likes me.
"More than a friend?"
"Yes, but I don't think either of you like me like that." This time I was just talking about Clara, but he was talking about both of us.
After he was done chiselling, he turned around and almost knocked my eye out because of his chin. He has a really big chin. It's like Mount Everest on someone's face. Seriously dangerous.
We walked over to the wooden door.
"What do I call you two?"
I asked the other Doctors.
"Grandad and bowtie." my Doctor answered, smile growing.
"Grandad! Well.. I..." War Doctor started, but stopped because he found it useless to complain with himself.
"Why can't you guys just sonic the door open?" couldn't they just do that? It's a sonic screwdriver, I've seen them open doors a countless amount of times.
"Haven't you told her you can't use sonics on wood?" War Doctor asked my Doctor.
"Well, you can do it. It just takes decades to process," the Doctor tried to make his mistake easier on him.
"Same software, different case", the moment pointed out. Same software different case! Grandad and I looked at each other, knowing that were holding the most valuable information that would be primitive to us in this point of time. I nodded my head, letting him take the credit.
"Same software. Different case."
"What?" the Doctor asked.
"If it takes decades to process, centuries even, and you started hundreds of years ago, wouldn't you think it would have worked by now?"
They all looked over at me, shocked that I actually knew what I was talking about for once.
The Doctor checked flipped open his sonic and checked it. "Still going." I looked at bowtie after I heard a little 'ding' coming from his side of the room. "Done".
All three of them looked at me like they had accomplished everything in life.
"Well, what are we waiting for?"
I stepped back as they all pointed their sonics at the door, and was really amazed when the door opened and they didn't touch any buttons. Seconds after that, I was disappointed since a young, short brunette was the one that actually opened the door.
"How did you do that? How did you open the door?" if we couldn't use our sonics, how could she just open it.
"And how did you get here?", I added.
"Well, that engraving on the wall was the code to use this, and the door was unlocked."
Unlocked? Unlocked? I was with the most knowledgable person in the universe, and now there is three of them, and none of them tried the door.
"You didn't try the door first?" I looked at the War Doctor and my Doctor and saw them both looking ashamed.
"It should've been locked", bowtie tried to make me less angry.
"Well, whatever, the door is open now and we probably need...", I looked at the woman with the brown hair, not knowing her name.
"Clara Oswald", she informed me.
"...Clara's help."
"Okay, and Leyna, I'm so glad to finally meet you! I've heard so much about you. He talks about you non-stop." Clara smiled at me. She seemed nice, but she didn't seem like she liked the Doctor like that. I guess he's made a mistake by thinking that their dating.
We were walking out of the cell, when I waited for eleven to join us. I told the others that they could go ahead and I walked back into the cold cell.
"Doctor, what's wrong?"
"It's just that.... I'm sorry. I can't tell you. It's just seeing you now brings back so many memories. Like when my previous companions died, it had it all written down in the book Melodie Malone. All because I started reading past chapter six. And Leyna, the flower on the day I first met you..." he opened his jacket and put his hand in a pocket beside the one for his sonic. Taking out, a blue tulip.
"Leyna, I miss you. And I get to see you again now, but for all the wrong reasons. This is just another chance for me to destroy Gallifrey, and also to see someone I love who died standing, alive, in front of me."
"Yeah, but Doctor. How did I died?"
"I can't say. But you'll forget anyways even if I tell you."
"If I'll forget, why can't you just tell me?"
"Because I don't want to see the look on your face when I do." He put the flower back in his pocket.
"Then turn around!"
"Leyna, end of discussion."
"You know, you're really confusing me. Your clothes say that you're a really funny and unique guy, but your eyes and tone of voice tell me otherwise."
"Your the reason why I met Amy and Rory, the reason why the Master is out of our lives, well not entirely but somewhat, and you're the reason I'm sad. Saying how you died out loud won't make me feel any better!"
Wow. I guess I shouldn't of asked anything.
Clara walked in the room.
"Guys, we should go now, its time."
And we walked silently out of the room, the next doctor and I not wanting to talk.
