I let out my Phoenix call out to the other animals below, telling them to run and hide. I felt the presence of evil, I felt something I've never encountered before in all of my 800 years.

I nosedive straight in the river below me, transforming into a pirahana. Other fish and other sea creatures dashing away from me, I swiftly shifted into a river bed creature. Looking up as the sun has already made its descent into the horizon. I was in deep shit, I prolonged the inevitable till the evil or darkness passed.

Losing this tail, was a MUST on every animals part. I soon shifted back into my human form, I listened out with my very good hearing. Besides the distant flapping of wings, I soon realized the coast was clear.

I felt an ache in my chest, that would not go away. I was nearing the border for the Fairy Meadow, everything sounded off. Then I heard a voice in my head, "Young Autumn, it is my destiny and the Fairy folk to now leave you. It has been written when you were born long ago, forgive us child. I will now transfer all my knowledge and my last gift to you as your mother."

The voice died down, swirls of the rainbow wrapped around me. Lifting me up as each color dive into my chest. The colors were bright as I closed my eyes, the dark was no longer dark. I could see the greens, the browns and the dark blues of the night sky settling down.

The colors of the forest no longer fun but brighter than the blazing sun on a summer day, I felt refreshed. "Autumn my youngest child, I leave to you to watch over your older siblings Storm, Peony, Flame & Mist. They would never leave you astray, as long as you never turn your back on them."

I felt the protective shield of the magic mirror shatter into millions of pieces, I fell to my knees as if my heart itself shattered right along with it.

I understood everything, who I am, what I am, what my purpose is in this life. I must protect mother nature in all its glory and it's dark times. I heard a quiet growl to my left, seeing the panther and it's cub from earlier.

"If I'd known that a spell had bound you earlier, I would have freed you."

My panther eyes coming forth as I waved my hand in the air, with a twist of my limbs I could hear her actual thoughts.

"Autumn, it is so good to see you again! You have no idea the problems me and flame have faced." The panther had said to me.

I bit my finger, waving my hands into a spell. One I never thought I would do, Two mother's knowledge has made me reunite with my family.

Peony had put down her cub slowly, as she transformed back into her small self. Giggling with hot as she poked the little cub in the butt.

Flame my older brother now, is a defiant little shit even when he was in his true form. The difference between Flame and the others, he not only controls fire and the other elements he is the only other that can shift like me expect everything he shifts into is red.
