I wake up as usual and go down to breakfast Tobias announces that he has a Leader meeting. Perfect. Uriah offers to show Delly around as she's always getting hopelessly lost in the maze that is the Dauntless compound. Christina and I go to the training room with the others and teach them to throw knifes. After 10 minutes I make my excuses.

"I really can't focus or think straight and I have a headache. I think I'll go to the dorm." I say

Christina nods and goes back to helping the others with angle and trajectory. When I'm out of view and out of earshot I break into a run. When I'm outside I get my letter out.

"Meet me on the library steps at 11am."

I see an oncoming train and throw myself on. It's decidedly harder on a done-in ankle. I pull myself into the carriage and watch as the city whizzes by. After a while I see the Erudite labs come into view and I jump off the train, landing on my hands and knees. I wipe my bleeding palms on my blue jeans, leaving red streaks on the legs.

I walk over to the library and see a familiar dark-haired boy with glasses too big for his face. He's sat on the steps reading a book.

"CALEB!" I shout, running over. Then I remember what he did and I slow my pace "How are you?" I ask stiffly
