Chapter 24: Journey across a broken world

2 days passed, and so far, there was no sight of N anywhere.

It was not clear to them or me of where N would be, but Arctic Ice spoke of a large orb of shadows and darkness.

Yes, we did believe this, but it was unlikely that we would randomly stumble upon a large orb like that.

We travelled across this vast land of nothingness, because the spires destroyed anything that stood in its path.

“I don’t think there’s much of anything to fight for…

Thunderheart… This world is getting far more disastrous and dangerous, and soon enough… It will become the disordered world that N wanted it to be.” Said Sundew.

I then looked at her.

“Sundew… Disordered or not, this is a world to fight for.” I said.

Zoro then snuck over to me and Sundew.

“Well, what’s the point for fighting for something broken?” Said Zoro.

I then stopped.

I kinda froze of sudden realization, but then I kept moving.

“Zoro… We fight for the broken so we can fix it once again.” I said with confidence.

“The world isn’t something you can just fix instantly, Thunderheart!” Zoro said.

“Then we’ll have to bring the little things to build bigger.” I said, not thinking about what I was saying at that point.

Firestar then came near.

“I’m not much of a follower, but i don’t see why a fight like this will solve anything…” Said Firestar.

“It solved N’s problems” Said Hayden on the other side of the group.

“Or… How about we allow him to take what he wants, then we backfire?” Said Sundew.

Then me, Zoro, and Firestar looked at Sundew.

“Do i even have to explain…?” I said.

“If he retrieves the power of all the legendary and mythical pokemon, then he will become unstoppable. In that case, he would have to kill Thunderheart.” Said Zoro.

Then Miku looked at Zoro.

“Now hold on… N has already killed Thunderheart and possesses his powers already. But since Thunderheart was resurrected in some way, his power was copied and given to himself.” Said Miku

“That’s a surprising, yet valid point you got there.” Said Zoro.

We then took a moment to realize that she might’ve been right.

“So if he has my power… How am I alive?” I said.

“As i said, it was most likely copied and you had the same exact power you lost.” Miku said.

“And where might that power go if and when we defeat N?” Said Firestar.

“I don’t exactly know. It might just disappear, or go back to Thunderheart, or create a whole other being.” She said.

“A being… Like me?” I said.

“Who knows.”

I was then stuck on that thought in my head.

At that point, if it would happen, There would be four of my kind in this world.

One, being the one Ash mentioned.

Two, me, of course.

Three, my mom.

And four… This new creation.

I denied to even think about it anymore, it would be impossible anyways, i thought.

“Where might this orb be, Arctic Ice?” Asked Blazefire.

“Well, i remember seeing it on my way to you guys… But i don’t exactly remember where.” Said Arctic Ice.

We heard Arctic Ice, but didn’t respond.

We were now climbing a large hill that lead to a big divot we didn’t know of.

“What did it look like?” I asked.

Arctic Ice didn’t respond, but instead looked over the hill since he was up the hill first.

“I believe it looked like that…” Arctic Ice said pointing over the hill.

It took a moment for me to get to the top of the hill, but once i did, i saw it…

The orb of darkness and shadows that he spoke of.

“So… they reside here?” Asked Silver.

I then stood next to her.

“I sure hope they do… I need to end this once and for all.” I said.

I then took a step forward, but then Silver stopped me.

“Thunderheart… I don’t want you gone again… Please… I don’t think we should continue this.” She said sadly, holding my hand.

I then hugged her.

“Silver… If I die… If we die… It was for a good cause.” I said, now letting her go.

“But you can’t enter that orb thinking you’re gonna die!” She yelled.

I then stopped.

“Either way… Something very important will happen in this fight for our world.” I said.

She didn’t give any other expression, so I walked over to her again, and put my hand on her shoulder.

“We got this…” I said.

She waited a moment, then she looked ready.

“Well… if we die, at least we’ll be in a better place together.” She said.

I chuckled a bit.

So me and her approached the orb and prepared for the war that would end it all.
