1 hour prior...

There we were, leaving Hammerlocke and making new memories by exploring more.

It was our nature, to explore and all that.

Why leave Hammerlocke?

There are plenty of places to go, so many sights to see.

My dream might as well come true.

Where we are now, I don't know.

I love exploring, but who ever said how easy it was to get lost.

It’s a common thing in our group, we go places, then we get lost.

I take the blame, as usual, but who cares?

We go places we’ve never seen before either way.

But now here we are in some type of forest;

“Thunderheart, you got us lost again, this looks just like the place we were at 3 minutes ago!” Said Hayden.

“Yeah, yeah, i know. This place just let’s me feel free.” I said

“Where’s Blazefire again?” Said Sundew.

“Oh, he's scouting the area to see where we’re at.” I said.

I decided to sit down to take a little break.

We’ve been walking for almost two hours now, and I could sense the weakness in the others.

“Is there anything to do, i’m kinda bored.” Said Hayden.

I let out a loud sigh.

“You would be the one asking for something to do.” Said Sundew.

Suddenly, we all heard a sound.

Everyone froze.

“What was that?” Silver whispered.

“I don’t know…” I said standing up.

I walked over to a large bush that seemed to cover a large area around us.

I peered through the bush to see two men with dark suits, holding a dark pokeball.

I turned around, facing the group.

“Silver, keep everyone here…” I said.

“Wait, Thunderheart, what are you going to do?” said Silver.

“I’m going to deal with these people…” I said turning around.

I started to walk away, but then she grabbed my shoulder.

“Thunderheart, don’t go… I know you said you’ll forever hate
poachers after what happened at the isle of armor, but don’t do it,
i don’t want you gone again.” Silver said.

I turned to face her.

“It’ll be alright…”

I then walked away, toward the poachers.

The poachers heard my footsteps, and they turned around to face me.

They looked very surprised.

“Oh my god!” Said one of them.

“Is that… Zeraora?” Said the other.

“No time for that, we can catch it!” Said the first poacher.

I stood in my place, knowing a fight was going to occur.

They would grab their enslaved pokemon from their pokeballs,
and force them to fight me...

And they did exactly that.

“Come on! Let’s do this! Go Rampardos!” Yelled the first poacher.

“Go Turtonator!” Yelled the second poacher.

I charged my claws with electricity, waiting for them to make their first move.

“Rampardos, use rock slam!” Said the first poacher.

Rampardos suddenly charged at me with a boulder in its hand.

I dodged it and charged after the poachers.

“What the…” Said a poacher.

I then grabbed both of the poachers by their shirts and lifted them off the ground.

Even though they couldn’t understand me, i said this;

“You will never come back here or I'll tear you both to shreds!
LEAVE!”

I let them fall to the ground, and they immediately ran away.

I turned around to see the pokemon that the poachers sent out were looking at me, shocked.

“What the heck was that?” Said Rampardos.

“Umm, i don’t think that’s how a battle works… you go after us,
not the humans…” Said Turtonator.

“I mean, we’ve been waiting for freedom for a long time…” Said
Rampardos.

Instead of me talking to them, I fell to the ground in sadness.

Suddenly, Silver and the rest of the flaming fates rushed out of the bush to me.

“Thunderheart! Are you okay? What happened?” Said Silver.

I was still on the ground, not letting them see my face.

“Wait, that’s THE Thunderheart? Dang!” Said Turtonator

Silver ignored Turtonator and attempted to get me up.

“Thunderheart, what’s wrong?” She said.

I stood up quickly.

“Is this why!!? Is this a reason why they put me in those cages!!?” I yelled.

“What do you mean?” Silver said.

I suddenly fell back down onto the ground again.

“I’m sorry… It’s just…” I said.

“Your past?” Sundew said, interrupting.

I stood back up.

“It’s nothing you should worry about…” I said.

I then looked up, noticing the sky was getting super dark.

The other noticed that I was looking at the sky so they looked too.

“Guys, something is wrong, I have a strong aura type of feeling of unbalance…” Said Hayden.

Suddenly Blazefire swooped in.

“Guys, These clouds are not what they appear to be, I flew close
to them, and it was like I was almost taken control of.” Said
Blazefire.

We looked at the clouds and noticed that they were curved.

“It seems that these clouds are rotating around something…” Said
Sundew.

“Then we better go there, and see what is wrong…” I said.

We got on Blazefire.

"Come on guys! Let's ride the lightning!" Yelled Hayden.

And there we were, we all awaited to journey and venture forth to the center of the dark.
