“And from my understanding… We weren’t there… I’m blaming this on me!” Said Cosmo.

“No, this isn’t your fault. It was mine…” I said.

“Thunderheart, i know you blame yourself for nearly everything that has happened to your team, but this is different. I know this wasn’t a natural process, but it just happened.” Starshadow said, now beginning to cry for their loss too.

“Since we’ve last seen each other, a lot has happened. And now that I have found out that our absence caused this, I feel bad for you, me, and them.” Said Cosmo.

Then we heard footsteps…

Starshadow and Cosmo then got up and stood defensively.

Then out of a crack in the walls a little ways from us, walked in Orin, Hugo, and Lusamine.

“Ohhhh crap....” Said Hugo staring at Starshadow and Cosmo.

“Don’t worry! I can fend them off!” Said Orin pulling out a gun.

Then, Lusamine ran in front of Orin.

“No! Don’t shoot them!” Said Lusamine, now noticing that i was behind Starshadow and Cosmo.

“Oh my…” Said Lusamine now approaching me.

Then Starshadow and Cosmo got in front of her and blocked her from getting any closer to me.

“Wait! Let her by…” I said to them both, but Lusamine couldn’t understand what i said.

“Why? They’re humans, I thought you hated them?” Said Starshadow.

I then looked at him sternly, and then he backed away from her.

Lusamine approached me like a child meeting a unicorn.

She was amazed at seeing me, as if I were something super exotic.

“Thunderheart… I wish i could tell you how much i am thankful for your bravery… And your forgiveness of me… You… Saved me... ” She said.

Starshadow then looked at me funny, and with a weird expression.

“YOU WHAT?!!” Starshadow then yelled.

“Starshadow, keep your chill!” Said Cosmo.

“No, This human put you AND me in that lab, all for our lives to be wasted away! I won’t tolerate this!” Said Starshadow now looking at Lusamine.

“Oh boy…” Said Lusamine now backing away.

“Wait a minute, That’s the Zorua from the lab!

So, that Gardevior must also have been from the lab…

Holy mother of fudge!” Said Hugo.

Orin then shoved Hugo to the side and pointed his gun at Starshadow.

“I wouldn’t even touch her if i were you!” Yelled Orin.

I then rushed to stand in the way of Starshadow and Orin, attempting to block any gunshots that were probably going to be fired.

“No! Don’t shoot them, Orin!!” Yelled Lusamine.

“Starshadow, listen! I know things were rough back then, but you don’t have to make it rough now! So stop this!” I said to Starshadow.

“She and the many others at that lab ruined my life from the very beginning!” Yelled Starshadow, now attempting to move me out of his way.

“I SAID STOP!” I yelled, punching the ground with a lot of electricity, shocking it and making everyone fall to the ground.

Everyone then slowly attempted to get up.

“Cosmo, with your psychic power, can you allow me to talk to them?” I asked.

“What!? You aren’t making sense right now Thunderheart! You said you hated them.” She said, getting up.

“Listen, i know, but we all have to change at one point, and right now, i don’t sense anything bad about these people here, they can help us take back what was lost, or at least avenge those who were lost…” I said.

She hesitated for a moment, but then held her hand out to me, and I could feel the rush of her power fulfill me.

I then looked at Orin, Hugo, and mainly Lusamine, as they got up from the ground.

“Thunderheart, what is wrong with you!” Said Starshadow getting up.

I then looked at him with a stern look again, and then I looked back at the humans.

“I don’t know if you all know this or not… but there is a great evil rising…” I said before getting interrupted.

“Oh my gosh! He can talk!” Said Hugo, interrupting me.

“I have tried to fight this evil, but i have failed, resulting in the loss of my friends, and now, these two are all i have left. I have known them for almost my whole life, and I will never forget them.

Now, I need to find this entity, N. He has caused this misfortune, and this loss. Now, i need all the help i can get, to avenge my friends, and stop this menace from causing anymore havok, which seems to be a repeating factor here. If you’re here to take me back, so be it. But if you do, no-one will be able to have the confidence as i do to defeat him.” I said as Lusamine, Orin, and Hugo looked very surprised.

“You… You can talk…” Said Lusamine.

“It’s only momentary.” I said.

She then looked at the pendant in my hands.

“Did that belong to one of your friends?” She said approaching me.

“Yes, and i knew him very well, and i liked him, as a really good best friend.” I said holding up the pendant.

“We actually didn’t know you’d be here, and we came here for a different reason.” Said Orin, lowering his gun.

“I’m going to guess that you came here for the irregularity that’s being exposed at this altar.” I said.

“Yes, and the fact that Arceus is missing.” Said Orin.

“Arceus is DEAD!” I said loudly, feeling offended.

Hugo backed away from me when I said that, but Orin and Lusamine stayed put.

“That’s impossible!” Said Lusamine.

“It has somehow occurred, with the uprise of N.” I said.

“So that’s the green haired guy that killed Zeraora, but… You’re right here… How?” Said Orin.

“Yes, that’s N, and honestly, i don’t know how i’m alive. At one point, I was floating into darkness, then I heard a voice and then I woke up in Kalos.” I said.

“All that for your friends...

I feel ever so guilty of keeping you in that lab…” Said Lusamine.

When Lusamine said that, Starshadow got a bit triggered, but Cosmo prevented him from getting mad.

“I don’t want you to continue enslaving anymore pokemon…

But i know i can’t do anything to prevent that.” I said, making the truth obvious.

“Ok, enough of this, we came here for a reason!

Now… Let’s go find…” Said Orin before we heard a loud thud.

“What was that?” Said Lusamine quietly.

The humans then slowly made their way to where we heard the thud.

Then, we saw a boy and a pikachu poke their heads out from behind a rock.

“Umm… That’s definitely not N…” Said Hugo.

“Who are you? And what are you doing here?” Said Lusamine.

“Umm, i came here for obvious reasons.” Said the boy.

“What’s your name?” Said Orin.

The boy then exhaled a noticeable breath.

“I’m Ash Ketchum…”
