"The flower that blooms in adversity, is the most rare and beautiful of all"

Hi everyone! I am alicecandy02 and I have prepared a very special chapter for you today, about Mulan. So thank you so much DisnerdsCentral for allowing me to write about a Disney character that is so important and dear to me! 

So let's get down to business:

Mulan is Disney's second Asian princess, and the only one whose parents or husband are not royalty. She is also one of the very few Disney characters to have both of her parents alive.Her name, Fa Mulan, (or Hua Mulan in Chinese) means "magnolia blossom". At the beginning of her film she has beautiful long black hair, but she cuts them shoulder-length to look like a man and join the army. Her favorite animal is her horse Khan, but she also owns a dog named Little Brother. Her best friend is a red travel-sized dragon named Mushu, and she really adores her father.

Mulan is a very strong and brave girl, who has difficulty fitting in society. She tries to meet up everyone's expectations and uphold her family's honor, but fails. After she takes her father's place in the army and joins the war, she understands that her only duty is to her heart, and she decides to live her life her own way. She uses her wits and physical strength to save the day, and she achieves her personal goal to uphold her family's honor at the same time.

This Disney princess is my personal favorite, and for good reason. She is a perfect role model for girls, because she teaches us that no matter what others believe, women can do all the "manly" staff, and sometimes even better than men. She shows us that if we have faith strong motivation, we can achieve anything we want. And the most important of all, she makes it clear that we must always believe to ourselves and never lose hope.
