Off Script Core

Ashes.. was dying, he could feel in through every part of his body.

His mana veins burned, and the dregs of magic this demon of a person left was barely able to keep his body functioning.

He didn't have enough energy to cry or talk, he'd screamed in agony at first till he couldn't.

Marconi.. his mama was alive, even dying he could feel there bond and love from them.

Was.. was he really going to die, after finally finding mama.

He hoped Mama, Quetz and Erebus were okay.

He could barely make out his hand, so many cracks.. he wanted to scream as the tip of a finger dusted a bit.

Mama....

------

The one time Spirits really needed them, the crazy love couple were not available.

His moonlights parent had yet to wake, and there were concerning cracks on there skull. He would admit he was not the best judge on body damage, but he had no idea how that area of skull with a spiderweb where something had hit had not shattered entirely.

He wished he had healing magic, but he was of destruction and his magic followed that way.

He'd tried to learn, but...

Yeah... he'd rather not see peoples skulls exploding again, that had been disturbing even for him.

Fate had actually silenced for a bit, a kind of disbelief.

After all, how did someone fail healing that badly?

(Stop that!) Erebus scowled, a paw slapping Spirits finger from prodding the damage.

"Why, he'll only look like a Horror or a Geno if it shatters?" Spirits asked confused.

(Because.. he's not Horror or a Geno. If his skull hasn't broken fully a doctor may be able to heal it) the feline Guardian replied as if to a small child.

"Huh..." Spirits said humming a bit, he hadn't known that was possible.

Suddenly Quetz woke with a start, one of his fuzzy wings held close to there body clearly hurt. The familiar quickly made his way to his monster, curling near Marconi's jaw glaring at anyone to try anything. They may not be a Fresh parasite anymore, but they were still powerful and possessive fo what was theirs.

"Silly..." Spirits said, grumbling when he realized he'd run out of alcohol.

Suddenly, a hand, cracked and dusting yes hurt as it closed around his upper arm "Where, is my Child!"

(Marconi!) Erebus said happy they'd woke, having no idea how they'd actually woken with such injuries or functioning through the immense pain they must be in. He sneezed, that strange zing to Marconis scent stronger then ever.

"Your... eye..." Spirits couldn't help but say, as Marconi was now sitting up and staring with blazing eyes. Yet, his left eye whose eye sockets more cracks then bone was not his normal silver but an unnatural silver not in reality.

"I said, WHERE IS ASHES!"

Well... Funk.

------

Destiny was screaming like an army sergeant, other deities running around chaotically.

The lower Realm was going nuts, or at least to Destiny it was.

Ducking Fate had vanished, she paused and groaned.. ducks...
While Insanity had been insane, he'd always made her smile. She'd always had this inner hope he'd recognize her feelings, he hadn't and she'd wondered if he'd still been in love with whoever Lesser insanity's sire had been. She'd known the false choice had broken him a lot, but Mika's death had settled him well on the not fine side.

Maybe, after he and Sanity returned she could try again.

"Um... Marconi's awake..." a soft voice said, Destiny looked over to see the lesser Deity of Grief staring at her shyly from around a corner.

"That's great, Spirits with him so should be no issues to clean this mess up," Destiny said brightening, finally

"Ah... there is an issue," Grief muttered hiding a bit more.

Destinies stomach dropped.

"What is it?" Destiny asked softly.

"Orders Mortal form is breaking due to damage, and his true self is starting to leak through to keep it together," Grief said, Destiny whimpered.

She was demanding a Vacation after this.

Then she remembered, she'd lost all her vacation privileges after she didn't Stop her counterpart and Choice ate them.

Maestro tapped the beaker of liquid magic against the wall studying it.

His little batter was quite powerful, there was a faint taste of something other he really liked. Clearly from his bigger power source, since the father was a non entity.

He'd lost ten dolls to getting into Doctor Slates and Gai'ls records, he would be avoiding where Doctor Slates area as they'd actually started hunting him down.

There was something too smart behind those eyes, even for him.

-----

Doctor Slate smirked, feeling he'd made a point somewhere as he updated security his security.

A security scary as hell already.

"There's another dust pile there," Slate said pointing to a corner, his golem assistant nodded and continued to clean.

Had to keep his records room clean after all.

------

Maestro shivered for some reason.

Slate would be the first gone, he'd take there power too.

Singing to himself he readied his next experiment, a body grown of the elder battery along with his own powers. A perfect body, he could redesign it once born as he was not partial to an Epic for himself.

"Little bird little bird, sing for me," he sang, above him Ashes lay still in his cage.

------

Spirits had never been afraid for his life before, annoyed.. aka Fate but never afraid.

But right now, Marconi was sending warning signals all through his body that made him want to flee. Yet, moonlight.. they had to save moonlight. The urge to flee was strong, also.. how was a dusting monster strong enough to keep him in place.

"Its not my fault!" Spirits squeaked, he coughed at the squeak "Some cult took Moonlight"

"What Cult?" Marconi growled there voice still off.

Spirits babbled out what he knew, the strange golden closed eye symbol with its black jewel, the mass amount of doll like members and what he leaned.

"Where is their base," Marconi continued, his unnatural eyelight glowing heavier.

He barely managed to say the answer, kept staring into that molten silver eye seeing his doom.

"Take me there now," it was not an offer he could say no to.

Erebus gave a nasty kitty grin, he'd make sure people would regret taking Ashes.

Moments later, the place was Empty.

------

Chaos head tilted, and shifted to the right.

A log trap, that was new.

Specially, as it somehow wasn't visible till it activated.

!!

Chaos paused, peering at where Orders spark was, they seemed agitated.

"Did something go out of balance?" he asked curious pausing his search, if it was going off somewhere to leave his search for his little Chaos till later.

"Spark?"

Suddenly the sped off at crazy speed.

A sinking feeling began to grow.

Orders Spark hadn't answered.

------

Ashes stirred, through the haze he could feel it.

The warmness, the love.. the protectiveness...

"Mama..."

Unfortunately Maestro heard him, grinning madly.

"That's right, there here!" they laughed.

------

(Very... Shiny) Erebus said staring at very big overdone building with too much gold in it, the nicest word you could use as a description was gaudy.

If you were nice about it...

A lot.

"Its ugly as hell," Marconi replied, making a face. Quetz sniggered, or as much as a winged furry snake could.

"Moonlight is here," Spirits said also agreeing, the symbol he'd been chasing was everywhere.

Without pause Marconi stepped forward, his injuries not slowing down.

"Stop in the name of Lord Maestro!" came a multitude of emotionless voices all at once, Marconi hissed angrily. They all wore down covering loose cloth pants and beige leather boots. They wore a white connected shawl and hood, with a thick cloth veil with the symbol and gen again, with a strange gold gem on either side of the veil. Where the hood connected to the shawl was a gold black with a singular black gem. They could barely make out they all wore a black turtle neck of some type under the shawl, but the veil was long enough you could barely make out the bottoms of their faces.

Definitely a faceless mook thing.

"Stop in the name of Lord Maestro," they demanded again, all in sync... eerie hen Marconi didn't slow. They all raised swords and other weapons, it was like facing a doll army.

"No"

Spirits gaped like an idiot, as one minutes they had over twenty mooks around them and then next empty clothes if lucky and piles of dust.

Marconi stepped forward, dusting more and more monsters with disturbing ease as they appeared.

Had they always been this dangerous?

That day, if they had not been pregnant with Moonlight would they have killed him?

He gulped.

(HURRY!) Erebus cried towards him, as the badly hurt monster was leaving him behind.

"Leave some for me!" he called rushing forward, maybe this place had some good alcohol.

------

Maestro hummed thoughtfully as the building shook, his new battery was moving down his dolls like they were grass.

"How wonderful, there body will be strong enough to grow me a nice new body. No more Dream, no more having to return here," he said excitedly, he lowered the cage and wondered if he should feed the smaller battery.

"No matter, the bigger battery is almost here!" came the cheerful reply, he blinked as a wall collapsed and Marconi waked through looking pissed.

"Oh, your early," Maestro said, they'd gone the short way so hadn't run into his traps.

He'd have to create new traps for situations like this, for with his next body he may even be able to catch stronger batteries.

------

Marconi peered around the room, the pain of his body felt miles away as he searched for Ashes.

Rage grew stronger, spotting his poor child in a cage in bad condition.

Mind you, he was also in bad condition and likely should be in a hospital on the good drugs.

"mama..." came a weak whimper, Ashes wings were barely covered by feathers. Raged and dust covered, his baby didn't have much time.

"Oh, your early," the being responsible for all the terror in there lives, there magic he could taste was those that had nibbled at his wards and then somehow crushed them.

"You should have stayed away.." he growled, dust slipped down from his hands.

"So boring, I'll rule everything. Your just a walking battery," they huffed "I am the Maestro, and your in my true home and you won't ever leave"

Then he kicked the cage.

Marconi saw red, his babies bodies slammed painful into the bars but made no other movement.

"Huh..." Maestro sad in shock, staring down in his chest.. or rather the hand going through it "This.. isn't in the script"

"Its in mine"

"Oh.. is this a bad time to mention, that the core powers my body and will kill everyone in this multiverse when I die?" Maestro said fading, beginning to dust as if that would save him.

"very bad timing," Marconi said, a part of his skull dusted and Maestro stared in awe.

"Its.. beautiful..." came the dying voice of the Dream, staring as the glowing silver light blazing out of the missing skull area.

"We have to go, even I'm not immune to the core," Spirits said.

Maestro dusted, black lightning filled the area.

The core, erupted into reality growing stronger.. swallowing everything.

Marconi smiled, and everything burst into silver light.

-------

Mani paused berating the Mps agent, everyone stared up as silver light rushed over everything.

"Marconi...?" he said confused, what was going on.

What was that light, why did it feel like there semi adopted child.

Guilt ate at him, when had he last contacted Ashes and Marconi.

------

Chaos gagged as silver light rushed through the antivoid, his mortal body briefly collapsing.

"Brother?" he whispered confused, he held a hand to his face and realized he was crying.

------

Sun frowned as the silver light filled the air, he felt a sigh of relief leave his body and he relaxed.

He somehow knew the light was safe, one day.. he.. hoped to meet the source.

Thoughts became nothing, as the first peaceful sleep in forever claimed him.

------

Order staggered exhausted into the temple, a glowing Ashes in his arms. He smiled and kissed there skull, he'd sacrificed his mortal body to return to Order and safely convert Ashes to divinity. He's manged to grab there codes, once he wasn't so exhausted he'd see Life about crafting new bodies like there old to go back to the mortal world.

As he settled in bed, he looked at the three floating bubbles with there sleeping occupants. Changing them to survive the overrealm, Quetz and Erebus would need baths once they could be safely be removed.

His gaze turned through the third bubble, Spirits.. but instead of monster a pitch black rabbit slept there.

How he was a rabbit he did not know.

A chaos rabbit how fitting, as sleep claimed him he wondered if Chaos would like a familiar.
