"This is such bullshit..."

A car could be seen driving through the neighborhood, and inside said car were three people. The one driving was a middle-aged white lady with shoulder-length, bleached blonde hair with black roots. She has light emerald eyes and is wearing mixed red, black, and white clothing with trousers. She seems to be the mother of the three. Next was an obese young adult white man. He has greasy brown hair with blue eyes and a small beard. He usually wears a black shirt with a green X, presumably referencing Xbox. He was the older brother of the three. And the last person of the three was a young teen girl, around 15 or 16, with pale skin, dark brown hair tied up in a high ponytail, and blue eyes. She is usually seen wearing blue and/or black clothing and skinny jeans. Her style is sometimes described as emo, and it matches her personality, given what she just said during the drive.

"Don't be like that Nicole, I'm sure our new home will be the last one we have to move to."

The Mom tried to reassure her Daughter that everything would be ok.

"Like how our last 7 or 8 homes were?..."

But the Daughter, now known as Nicole, was not at all convinced with the idea.

"It's still not the end of the world, I mean, look at your brother, he's not complaining about our little arrangement."

The Mom still tried, even using her Son as an example of someone not bothered by the situation.

"That's because he's always playing with his games and eating pizza like a fucking fat ass geek goblin to notice a difference."

Though it was very clear that Nicole could care less about her brother's opinion, since she thought of him as nothing more than an obese gaming loser, the mom could only sigh at this, already exhausted from dealing with her always negative daughter, deciding to say nothing more and just keep driving.

"Hey look, they must be our neighbors."

But when driving to their new house, the Mom immediately noticed a family next door to their home.

"Oh! And they also seemed to be just moving in~"

Though what truly caught the Mom's attention was that the family was also moving in, judging by the boxes and such, just like them.

"Greaaaaat, now we have someone to relate to."

Nicole could only roll her eyes, clearly caring less about all this.

"What a great idea Nicole, maybe we should talk with them~"

Unfortunately the sarcastic remark had turned into an idea for the Mom, who quickly drives up and parks to her home, before getting out to meet the neighbors.

"Wait no, I was just kidding!"

Nicole immediately panics and tries to stop her.

"Hello, you two don't happen to be just moving in the neighborhood are you?"

The Mom ignored the attempts of her Daughter stopping her and just confidently walked up to her neighbors, quickly catching their attention and striking a conversation with them.

"We sure are! We came from all the way from Japan to live in America~"

One of the neighbors who answered was a young man in his middle ages, with brown hair, wearing glasses, and dressed in a suit. Judging by the way he spoke and acted, he seemed like the type of person who was more or less satisfied and even happy with life.

"No kidding? Must have been a long trip I can't imagine."

The Mom was honestly surprised to see such a happy person despite them mentioning they just moved in from Japan.

"Well, it wasn't that long, thanks to our Son's-"

The second neighbor who spoke up next was a young middle-aged woman, possibly younger judging by her looks alone. She had a very kind and innocent expression, short black hair that barely touched her shoulders, and was wearing simple wife-style clothes. She was just the stereotypical cliché of a happy wife. As she was speaking, she was about to mention her so-called son, but was immediately interrupted by a third person who slammed the door open, startling and catching everyone's attention. This "son" had an average build and height. He had short hot pink hair, fair skin, and pale purple eyes with no signs of pupils or emotion. He also seemed to be wearing a pair of "hairpins". The pins resembled white, cyan antennae, with pink, lollipop-like spheres. Accompanying the pins, he wore white glasses with lime green lenses. Honestly, the only thing normal about him was his plain shirt and pants.

'Pink hair and antenna? The fuck, is he part of the space alien LGBT?'

Something that Nicole immediately noticed and quickly thinks is weird and unusual.

"Son? Do you mean him?"

The Mom however didn't question the unique looks of the neighbors child, more interested that he was the Son that was mentioned by the other family.

"N-Nope! We meant our other one living in England! He's um, he is smart and stuff..."

However, the husband of the neighbors tried to deny it, and mentioned the other son who is currently not here and lives in England, according to them, though it only confused the mom.

"I think they're weirdos Mom."

Nicole has already decided to label neighbors as not normal and wished to be away from them as soon as possible.

"Nicole!"

The Mom immediately scolds her Daughter for saying such things.

"Aww, is this cutie pie your Daughter~"

However the neighbors didn't seem bothered by the comment, in fact, the wife seemed to take an interest in the emo child before her.

"My one and only Daughter, Nicole Lenti."

The Mom, trying her best to keep up a good reputation before the neighbors, and introduce her Daughter to the neighbors.

"Don't just give our names to strangers!"

Which made Nicole Lenti very upset to have her full name be given to a bunch of weirdos.

"I also have a Son, Max Field, taking his Father's last name."

The Mom just ignored her Daughter's complaining and tried to introduce her Son next.

"Max why don't you come and say Hello-"

Though when the mom tried to introduce Max Field, he was already seen carrying the gaming stuff he owns inside the new house and just promptly ignored everyone as he went in and closed the door behind him.

"Must be shy to meet new people."

The neighbor husband lets out a thoughtful hum when he sees the Max person just ignore them like that.

"Unless they're under 18-"

"And of course I'm obviously their Mother, Marissa Lenti!"

Nicole was about to make a comment about it, but the Mom immediately cut off her Daughter by ending the introduction by introducing herself lastly, who was now known as Marissa Lenti.

"It's a pleasure to meet you."

Marissa then gave a small bow as hello, assuming this was how the Japanese greeted each other and she was trying to be respectful towards them.

"It's so very nice to meet you too Marissa~"

The neighbor's wife decided that it was her turn to start and continue the conversation.

"Since we met your children, it's only fair you met our Kuu~"

And the neighbor's wife thought that the best way to continue was to give the Lenti family their own introduction. She looked back at her pink-haired son and motioned him to come towards them, who just sighed in response and reluctantly walked up to them.

"This is Saiki Kusuo, or would it be Kusuo Saiki in America? Anyway, he's our little ball of sunshine and rainbow~"

The neighbor's wife introduced her Son, now known as Kusuo Saiki, giving him a loving hug as she mentioned how great he was to the other mother and her child.

'He looks more like someone who would just stab that ball and make it bleed instead.'

Nicole was not very convinced that the one known as Kusuo was all "Sunshine" or "Rainbow".

"Come on Kuu, say hello to our new neighbors~"

The neighbor's wife looked up to her Son and tried to make him say hi to the other family, who just sighs again.

'[Good grief, hello.]'

Kusuo seemed to be very done with life as he introduced himself to the neighbors.

"What are you? A ventriloquist?"

However, to his surprise, Nicole was able to immediately notice that he didn't move his lips when he spoke, catching him off guard as he didn't know how to respond to this.

"And this is his Papa, Kuniharu Saiki~"

However, the emo girl didn't get a chance to question the quiet boy before the neighbor husband, now known as Kuniharu Saiki, continued the introduction.

"And this is his Mama, Kurumi Saiki~"

The same goes for the neighbor's wife, now known as Kurumi Saiki.

"We're The Saiki Family!~"

Both Kurumi and Kuniharu gave a big family welcome and introduction, which made their son pinch the bridges of his nose and shake his head in shame and embarrassment.

"Huh, so that's what a loving and happy family looks like?"

Nicole couldn't help but admit that, despite being such a weird group of people, they were legit a happy family, she didn't really know how to process this.

"Oh! I just had a wonderful idea!~"

Kurumi suddenly claps her hands and gets excited with a new idea in her mind.

"Why not come over and join us for Dinner~"

As soon as Kurumi suggested this, both her Son and the neighbor's Daughter looked shocked and even slightly horrified.

"Mom, let's run before we get infected with their weirdness!"

Nicole quickly grabbed her Mom's arm and tried to immediately get away from this situation before it could escalate.

"A-Are you sure? We wouldn't want to impose, we just met after all?"

Again Marissa ignores her Daughter, as she was surprised to have the Saiki Family invite them over for dinner, despite just meeting for the first time ever.

"It's no issue at all, in fact, this would be perfect for us to become friends, and who knows, maybe our children might get along and start dating, hehe~"

Kurumi giggles, as she seems happy and even slightly hopeful for not only getting another "Mom Friend", but also getting a "Girlfriend" for her little Kuu, who just faces palms at the idea.

"That would be nice..."

Even Marissa seemed convinced at the idea of what her neighbor just suggested.

"Mom, please..."

Nicole sighs, no matter how much she tried to stop this, she already knew it was too late.

"We'll accept your invitation, just let us unpack and we'll come right over."

Marissa was fully convinced with the dinner idea and accepted the offer, much to the joy of the neighbor.

"Great! I'll start preparing~"

Kurumi wasted no time heading inside the house, so that she could get everything started for the visit of her new potential "Mom Friend".

"Have a good rest of your day Marissa."

Kuniharu simply gave his simple goodbyes and followed his wife, who was a little excited to have a visit from their neighbors. He also decided to prepare for it. Kusuo wasn't really all that interested or happy about it. He just gave them a nod before walking back home.

"Y-You're not seriously thinking about making me date that pink hair four eyes loser?!"

And once the Saiki Family was gone, Nicole wasted no time yelling and expressing her immense displeasure about the situation.

"Of course not, you don't have to if you don't want to, but I still want you to try and at least become acquainted with their Son."

Marissa, even though she would like it if her daughter dated someone nice, didn't want to force that, as she was more interested in the idea of her child at least making some friends instead of forever being alone and depressed.

"Why should I? For all we know, he could be a creep wanting to rape me!"

Nicole still rejects the idea and refuses to participate in all this.

"Nicole That's Enough!"

Marissa, decided that she had enough with her Daughter's complaining, finally snapped and yelled at her child, which was enough to shut her up.

"I'm not asking for much... Just at least try..."

Marissa sighs, rubbing her temples, as she was just tired in general and didn't want to deal with this anymore.

"... Whatever..."

And Nicole had no choice but to accept this, also lost the interest to argue more about something that wasn't gonna change.

"Good, now let's hurry and unpack before it gets dark."

Marissa, glad to have her Daughter finally submit to the idea, as she then turns around and starts unpacking and fully moving into their new home.

'I should save my Xanax for dinner, maybe that will help me get through this bullshit...'

Nicole just huffs and frowns, with nothing more to do or say, she also started to help her Mom unpack, as well as checking to see if she had anything to "Prepare" herself for dinner, though as the Lenti family continues to move into their new home, Kusuo Saiki was seen in his room upstairs, looking out the window and watching them with a small frown, as if also unhappy about the entire situation.

'[Hm...]'

I like to think that both Kusuo and Nicole will influence and change each other a lot, Nicole might somewhat become a better person thanks to Kusuo, while Kusuo, well, let's just say he might pick up some bad habits thanks to Nicole, hehe~

(From my knowledge, Kusuo uses his Telepathic abilities to speak with others, but was able to get away with it because most of the characters are usually either stupid or distracted with something else, maybe slight mind control as well, but i like to think that Nicole is both smart and drugged up enough to notice Kusuo not moving his lips when talking)
