"Nicole?"
Marissa Lenti, after finally unpacking everything and settling in her new house, as well as getting dressed and wearing something that made her look nice, walked into the living room of her new house and saw her daughter, Nicole Lenti.
"I'm trying to make a depression playlist on iTunes, what do you want?"
And currently Nicole was obviously very annoyed lately, obviously by her choice of music she was selecting and just overall expression.
"Are you ready to meet our neighbors?"
Marissa tries to not get upset with her Daughter, more focused on what they have planned today.
"Ugh, why do we even have to do this, we barely met them today."
Nicole lets out a very loud and over exaggerated sigh, being very blunt with her emotions and thoughts about this whole "Meeting The Neighbors" idea.
"Well, we both just moved in here, so I thought it would be something we can relate to and start becoming friends."
Marissa attempted to convince and give reasons for her Daughter to do this.
"Also, it's always good to be nice and have connections with people."
As well as Marissa giving some pros and benefits of them getting on good terms with their neighbors.
"But what if they're bad people who want to kill us and steal our organs for the black market?"
Though Nicole still didn't look convinced about the whole idea.
"You and your negative imagination..."
Marissa grumbles and rubs her temples, very much struggling to not get upset with her Daughter.
"Look, just give them a chance, I'm sure if you're nice to them now, they'll return the favor in the future?"
Marissa was basically begging for her Daughter to behave and come along.
"You really think spreading yourself thin for others will really make a difference to my life?"
Nicole crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes.
"Yes, I truly believe so."
Marissa nods, truly believing what she said.
"And what if it doesn't?"
Nicole raised an eyebrow.
"Well, even if it doesn't, at least you'll have someone instead of no one, and isn't that better than being alone?"
Marissa hoped what she said was enough to get through to her Daughter.
"Unless they're stalking me and taking pictures of me to sell for 100 bucks."
Which it did not obviously, as Nicole still refused to trust anything her Mom said.
"Oh my God, Nicole, please?"
Marissa could only groan and just looked at her Daughter with pleading eyes, no doubt desperate for her to cooperate.
"... Whatever, fine...."
And after a bit, Nicole finally caved in, as she was now too tired to continue arguing with her Mother, and just decided to suck it up and get through with it, hoping it would be over quickly.
"Good girl, now let's go, we don't want to be late~"
This definitely made Marissa happy, and once she had convinced her Daughter, she wasted no time getting her stuff, mostly small snacks and gifts for her neighbors, and just started leaving.
"... I'll be your enabling little princess..."
Nicole could only cross her arms as she wore a deep frown and glare on her face as she followed after her Mother.
"Well hello, Marissa and Nicole, I'm so glad you can make it~"
Soon both the Mother and Daughter Lenti stood before the house of the Saiki, which one of them, specifically Kuniharu Saiki, opened the door and welcomed the two ladies to his home.
"Konnichiwa Kuniharu."
Marissa attempted to greet the Husband of the Saiki, doing so in their native Japanese language, which surprised him.
'Really Mom? I know they're from Japan, but that felt oddly racist?'
Though Nicole could only shake her embarrassment and shame for what her Mother was doing, but said nothing and hoped it was enough to offend the man and make them leave their home.
"Oh? Do you know Japanese?"
Of course, Kuniharu didn't find it offensive, as he was more curious with Mari language knowledge.
"I, well, no, I just wanted to be respectful by saying 'Hi' in your beautiful language.'
'Or come out like a racist asshole.'
Nicole rolled her eyes at Marissa's attempts of being "Respectful" towards their neighbors.
"Ah, well thank you, would you two like to come in?"
With not much to say, Kuniharu decided to let both Lenti into his home, allowing them to walk in and look around.
"Wow, what a lovely home you got here~"
Again Marissa was trying to be nice and admire the inside of the house of Saiki.
'Bitch, it just looks like our house, just with a more Japanese theme.'
And again for Nicole, she could care very less about the whole thing, as well as being more unimpressed with how her Mother was acting.
"Our Son did most of the decoration and organizing, of course I help a lot to~"
It was Kuniharu's turn to attempt and sound impressive towards his neighbors.
'I know I just met you, but something tells me you're lying about being "Helpful", hmph.'
However Nicole immediately saw through the man's bullshit, but didn't say it out loud and just allowed him to say whatever he wanted.
"Speaking of which, where is your Son?"
Marissa continues to have her conversation with Mr. Saiki, this time bringing up his Son, as she noticed he wasn't around.
"He's in his room, hoping he could hide in there during your visit."
Kuniharu couldn't help but let out a tired sigh when he admits to where and what his Son was doing.
'Ew, don't make me sympathize with that bubble gum head freak.'
Nicole made a cringe expression at the mere idea of her "Understanding" how the Son of Saiki felt in this situation.
"Heh, sounds like you aren't the only one with an antisocial child."
Marissa couldn't help but giggle, and be slightly glad to know someone else could relate to her troubles.
'You better be talking about Max...'
Though it did make Nicole glare at her Mother for what she said.
"Ah! I just had a great idea!~"
But before the Daughter Lenti could be more upset with the Mother Lenti, Kuniharu suddenly spoke up and caught both of their attention.
"Why don't you let your Daughter hang out with my Son in his room, just until my wife finish making dinner~"
As soon as Kuniharu suggested that the emo in blue to hang out with antisocial child, said emo child glared death daggers at both him, and at Mari.
'Mom don't you fucking dare-'
"I think that's a wonderful idea~"
'YOU BITCH!'
Nicole clenched her fist and softly growled angrily at Marissa, who agreed with the idea that her neighbor suggested, it took everything to not yell at her Mother in rage.
"However, not to sound rude, but he won't do anything to my Daughter while they're alone, right?"
'Too Late To Care About Me Now, Mom!'
However Marissa wished to make sure that her Daughter would be safe with Mr. Saiki Son, though it didn't really make Nicole any happier.
"Of course not, I know my Son can come off as weird, but believe me, we raised him to show respect and kindness towards girls~"
Kuniharu not only comforts Mrs. Lenti that her child would be alright, but also sound both proud and sure of himself to know that his Son would be a gentlemen towards any kind of ladies.
"That's reassuring to hear."
Marissa decided to trust him, looking at her Daughter and tries to push her along.
"Go ahead and go be with their Son, I'll be here if you need anything."
Marissa Daughter could only continue glaring at her, as if wanting to both refuse and get angry, maybe yell as well.
"... Whatever..."
But Nicole only let out a very defeated annoyed expression as she just did as she was told and walked away to meet up with Son of their neighbors.
"I apologize in advance if my Daughter says or does anything offensive."
Once alone, Marissa decided to take the chance to give her apologies now, as she hopes her Daughter won't do anything stupid during the visit.
"We were all young once, so don't worry about it~"
Kuniharu waves away the concerns, as he understood the situation and didn't think to much about it.
"Thank you for your understanding."
Marissa was glad for her neighbors understanding, however she still couldn't help but worry, no doubt wanting this visit to turn out great and not end in disaster.
"Now then, how about I show you my figures while we wait for dinner~"
"Huh? Your what?"
As Marissa attempts to get friendly with Kuniharu, and hopefully with Kurumi as well, Nicole could be seen upstairs and finding the room of her so called "New Friend", again letting out a annoyed sigh as she knocks on the door, which was soon opened a moment late by none other than Kusuo Saiki himself.
"My Mom and your Dad want us to hang out."
Even though Nicole was told to be nice, she still made it clear she was only here by others and against her will, which Kusuo simply nodded in response and let her inside his room.
'What? Not gonna use your smooth talking ventriloquism? Hmph, whatever, not like I really wanted to hear you talk anyway.'
Nicole simply grumbles as she walks in the room of Kusuo, taking a chance to look around.
'Well, doesn't this room scream "I Get No Bitches", or bastards, I don't judge I guess.'
Nicole walks up to the shelf, and sees nothing but many books and many many many old, very old and trashy games and movies.
'The fuck am I looking at? I barely recognize half of these movies, and some of these games are something not even my brother would play.'
Nicole glanced back at Kusuo, seeing that he wasn't really paying attention to her, simply sitting on his chair, and just reading a book.
'I guess I'll give him credit, he isn't staring at me like another rapist, so no reason to start anything with him.'
Nicole sighs, as she already felt exhausted from being, "Nice", she walks towards Kusuo bed, which she asked if she could sit on, he nods and lets her sit on his bed.
'Since there's a low chance of being molested by this LBGT Alien, might as well take something to hopefully make me survive this "Neighborly" visit.'
Nicole then reaches into her shirt, and bra, and pulls a couple pills, which immediately catches Kusuo's attention.
'[What are you doing]'
Kusuo raised an eyebrow in both curiosity and suspicion when he saw Lenti take out some pills.
'Look who decided to finally speak.'
Nicole was immediately annoyed and disappointed that her moment of silence and peace was ruined when Saiki finally started speaking with her.
"Would you leave me alone if I gave you one?"
And since Nicole wasn't really in the mood to talk to her neighbor, she decided to just offer him some of her pills, in the hopes of being left alone.
'[What is it?]'
Kusuo was even more hesitant about what she was offering.
"It's something I take for headaches and to ignore everything that annoys me."
Nicole answered half hearted honesty and bluntness.
'[And it actually works?...]'
Kusuo tilts his head, still unsure about the pills he was being given.
"It does for me."
Was all Nicole had to say before taking one for herself, no longer interested in continuing the conversation.
'[... Alright]'
And after waiting a moment, once Kusuo saw that Nicole was still OK after taking her pills, he decided to just accept the offer, taking and swallowing his share of pills that was given to him, assuming it was just simple headache medication and thought nothing of it... Not until he heard what Nicole thought next.
'I guess we're Xanax buddies now.'
'[Wait what?]'

Here's the reason why Kusuo fell for taking drugs, 1: Even though Kusuo is smart and such, he can still be tricked, there are some examples of that happening, 2: Even though Kusuo could read minds, Nicole thoughts didn't tell any lies, technically, nor did it reveal that it were drugs, and 3: Kusuo was told to be nice to his guest by his parents, so you could argue he couldn't ignore gifts from his Neighbors, all that stuff.
(Soooooooo, what's your thoughts on Kuniharu accidentally cheating on Kurumi with Marissa Lenti?~)
