And Another Chapter!

Poseidon's POV

I cried, my heart broken. I just lost my big brother, the one I loved like a son loves his child. Perseus was like the father I never had, and now he is so somewhere reforming.

I felt like I failed him. I looked around the room and saw similar looks on everyone's faces. Those that sided with Zeus looked down in shame, tears falling down their faces.

Hades and I looked at one another, our eyes locking. He gave me an understanding look. We no longer wanted to be here. The only reason I stayed in Olympus was because of my brother Perseus. Now that he is gone, it just doesn't feel like home anymore.

I felt a rush of anger pulse through me. It's all Zeus' fault! He just couldn't control his damn pride or lust for power. I glared at Zeus who was looking at the ground ashamed. Serves him right.

I gave my brother Hades a look, telling him let's go. He nodded and we flashed away to my domain. I made an air bubble for Hades to breathe.

'What are we going to do brother? Zeus can't become king!' I said, breaking the silence.

Hades sighed. 'There isn't anything we can do that won't piss off Perseus. You heard what he said. Maybe now that he has the bloody throne, he will calm down' Hades said shrugging.

I sighed. He's right of course. I just wish I can kick Zeus' ass. Tears rolled down my face as I felt powerless. It's worse for me since my fatal flaw is loyalty, so to see your own brother killed by your other brother. Let's just say I myself am dying.

Hades placed a hand on my shoulder. 'Everything will be alright brother. We just have to be strong and hope Perseus reforms faster than the Titans' Hades said still looking sadly at me.

I sighed. 'Yeah you're right' I said groaning.

Athena's POV.

Shame. Loss. Anger at myself. Sadness. Those are just a few of the many emotions I felt when I saw Zeus impale Perseus with his sword. I felt my heart break. I never admitted it to myself before now, but it's true, I love Perseus. I know we could never be together, but just because I am a Maiden doesn't mean I'm immune to love.

It just means I can't act upon my emotions. I sobbed quietly in a corner, not wanting anyone to notice me. Of course, I was noticed by my sisters Aphrodite and Artemis. They didn't look any better than me. Even Artemis was weeping at the loss of our King. I never thought I would see Artemis weep over a man, but then again Perseus wasn't just any man. Perseus was the greatest male to ever live.

Artemis and Aphrodite wrapped their arms around me, trying to comfort me. But I could tell they were also comforting themselves as well. We flashed to my palace and cried our hearts out at the loss of King Perseus, the worlds greatest Uncle.

Zeus' POV

I couldn't believe I just killed my brother. I knew I couldn't beat him, yet I continued to fight him. All I ever wanted was the throne, to have everyone respect me. I never wanted to kill my brother.

Nobody knows this, but I have always loved my brother. He inspired me to be stronger after all. Yet even for all the brotherly love I had for him, I still killed him. I felt so ashamed.

I felt the Crown of the Gods rest upon my head, but right now I could care less. I would give anything to have my brother back. Well, almost anything. I wouldn't give him back the throne, but anything else I would give up for him.

I saw my brother's throne disappear and reappear where mine used to be. My own throne now in the middle of the Council Members Thrones. At that moment I knew I would not be able to keep my tears at bay. And I will never let anyone see me cry, so I flashed to my Palace.

Once I was safe in my room, I cried. It hasn't even been 20 minutes since I killed Perseus but I already missed him. I was such a fool. All my brother ever showed me was the love and care that I never received from Kronos, yet all I repaid him with was hate, anger, tantrums, and a sword through the chest.

That thought just made me cry harder. I am so stupid! I killed the only person that has ever showed me kindness, who always loved me as a brother even when I screwed up. I'm the worst brother in the history of brothers!

Third Person's POV

Perseus, the former King of the Olympian Gods, opened his eyes, finding himself on an island. The sun was not very bright, the sand looked very muggy, and uninviting. Perseus sighed, The Olympians must be taking my death pretty hard, Perseus thought as he rubbed his chest.

He looked around and saw that he was himself but he was not in his body. He saw his feet floating a few feet in the air. Huh, I guess this is what it feels and looks like when you are reforming.

No other body part could be found, Perseus stared up at his legs and looked surprised when he saw his thighs appear. I guess I'm going to be stuck here for a while, Perseus mused as he got up.

He looked around and started thinking about what to do. He couldn't see anything so he should probably build himself a shelter so he wouldn't get burned. He walked to the edge of the tree line and began building himself a small hut.

After an hour of hard work, Perseus finally finished building his hut. It was small, but it was only until his body reformed, then he would flash out of here and visit his family again.

~~~~The Awesome Time Skip!~~~~
It's been 8 months. 8 months and still no sign of Perseus. Everyone has looked for him. Nobody knew if he faded or if he just hasn't reformed but everyone searched nonetheless.
Zeus, the newly crowned King of The Gods, groaned in his Throne. His brother was dead and reforming, yet everybody still paid more attention to Perseus than him. Zeus was furious.
'Alright, from this moment onward, no more searching for Perseus. That is an order!' Zeus commanded, earning himself glares from all the Council Members.
'That's not fair! Why are we not allowed to search for him?!' Athena shouted, surprisingly before Poseidon could.
'Yeah, it's bad enough you kicked out Hades from the council and forced Hestia to retire her throne to Dionysius, but you can't ban us from searching for Perseus!' Poseidon said, his rage barely contained.
Zeus glared at Poseidon. 'I can and I will! I am the King now and you will all do as I say! Failure to obey will be seen as an act of treason!' Zeus boomed, making everyone but Poseidon flinch.
Nobody protested after that. Nobody wanted to have a taste of Zeus' Thunderbolt.
In the 8 months that Zeus reined, he pretty much ruined everything Perseus worked to build. Gods broke away and created their own Parthenon's. Soon there were Egyptian Gods, Norse Gods, Persian Gods and many more. Zeus was furious but there was nothing he could do. He didn't have the respect of the Gods like Perseus did, and they could overpower him if he tried to fight them.
Some of the laws Perseus passed were forgotten about. Zeus himself broke the law stating that 'No married man is to cheat on his wife' But of course Zeus couldn't keep his little Thunderbolt inside his pants. Hera nearly blew up Olympus when she first found out.
With nobody to keep the other males in check, wives were being cheated on every day. Artemis' disgust at men grew more and more with each passing day. Soon she had enough and formed the Hunters so they can keep her company. Aphrodite became more and more like a slut, sleeping with a different guy every day, while Athena became more and more colder and much more reserved.
Hestia became more and more reserved, within a week of Perseus' death, she stopped speaking altogether. She only spoke to Hades and Poseidon now.
Little did they all know that they were being watched by a pair of Pitch Black eyes with stars inside of them with different colors signifying his power over the Elements. His eyes were filled with sadness and disgust at what he was seeing.
Everything he worked for was being ruined. Nobody saw or sensed him. He didn't want them seeing him. They acted like he never existed! The only ones that haven't broken any of his previous laws have been Hades and Poseidon, though Poseidon has started to break his vow to his wife Amphitrite.
Perseus sighed before he was swallowed by darkness.
Perseus traveled around the world, searching for reason to continue living. For several decades, Perseus has never been seen by anyone. Nobody, wether immortal, mortal or even Gods. None have ever laid eyes on him, or even heard a whisper of a rumor about him. Soon all had forgotten about the First King Of Olympus.
Almost everyone anyways. The Gods that left the once Great Olympian Empire, built large statues in Honor and Respect of their First and only King.
The Egyptian Gods didn't have a King, always hoping Perseus would come back and become their king. No Egyptian dared to name himself king, so they made a Council just like Perseus did and all Council Members had equal power and equal say in all matters before the Council.
Hestia, Hades, Poseidon, Athena and Artemis would sometimes visit the Egyptian Gods Home to pay their respects to Perseus. Every year on the day that Perseus died, they would visit the Egyptians and stay with them for a week before leaving to do their usual stuff.
Perseus watched as war after war began and ended, finishing with thousands of lives lost. He watched until he couldn't watch any longer. Only then did he act. Only then did he finally come out of the shadows that hid him from the world.
END OF CHAPTER....
Sorry if it was a little boring guys but this chapter was important because it helps you to understand what will be happening next.
It also let's you know what some Olympians thought and how they changed to the Olympian Gods that they became during the Percy Jackson series.
It shows how everything went downhill, how Men changed from the honorable men who respected women to the pigs they are. I have a lot of ideas for this story and I still have writers block for some of my other stories, so I'm so very sorry!
Blame my over imaginative brain!
Anyways, hope you all enjoyed this chapter! Hopefully my writers block goes away so I can continue on with my other stories.
