"I dare you to give Jordan a lap dance."

Jordan stiffened where he was seated and Sharon just zoned out. That was until April clobbered the back of Ayo's head.

"Itai! That's what you said!!" He complained as he rubbed the back of his head.

"No idiot, we said to sit on Jordan's lap for the rest of the night and not give Jordan a lap dance!" April scolded. Ayo only pouted cutely and batted his eyelashes at April and ordered Sharon to do as she said.

"Boner alert."

"Stop that, you're so gross!"

"What?! It could be true!"

"Bryan, if you say anything again, I'll make sure your sister doesn't have any nephews or nieces to play with in the future."

Bryan took April's threat very seriously and didn't speak a word.

"Let's watch a movie, I brought some." Don broke the tension building up by suggesting a movie.

"Oooh, do you have the fault in our stars?" Phyllis asked enthusiastically.

"What?! Ew, no. I don't do romance and chick lit!" Don burst Phyllis's emotion bubble.

"So what do you have?" Shelia asked

"Action, horror, comedy, choose one."

"Action/horror/comedy!" They all chose at the same time.

"Let's settle this the old way. All those in favour of action raise hands." Don mediated. He and Ayo were the only ones to raise hands.

"Horror." Bryan's hand shot up along with April and Scarlet. Don groaned in annoyance.

"The comedies have it." He gave his verdict. "After that we'll watch horror... seriously, Jordan and Logan, you voted comedy?! Are you even men at all?!" Don complained but it was no use, the comedies won.

The movie was interesting and funny like every comedy should be. Even Scarlet gave a small chuckle at intervals but her lips didn't perk up at all. Shelia literally rolled to the kitchen in laughter and April's sides ached. The movie popcorn was spilled everywhere and ice cream spit takes were done on one another's faces. When it was time for horror, the girls went to bring more ice cream and popcorn while the guys went to get the pillows from the guest room.

Sharon fell asleep on Jordan's chest (she's seated on his lap as a dare), how she did that, only God knows. Jordan on the other hand fainted on the first horror arch- chicken. April kept screaming 'DIE!' which scared the girls along with the movie. Phyllis ducked under a pillow each time an horror figure popped and Bryan was smiling like a maniac at the sight of blood. Shelia buried her head in Logan's chest while he kissed her hair and told her that it was just a movie. Don was cool like every guy should be- when it wasn't an horror arch. He screamed like a schoolgirl when a horror figure popped out and snatched Phyllis's pillow away. Ayo kept jerking and pouring popcorn while screaming curses and Scarlet...

"..."

...was being Scarlet.

After the movies, they decided that it was late already so they went to bed. Ayo slept on the floor in the living room cuddling a pillow while Jordan and Don shared the bed in the guestroom. Brya slept on the sofa in the guestroom, Scarlet slept in her attic, Shelia and Sharon shared Scarlet's king sized bed along with Phyllis while April slept on a mattress on the floor.

Logan was in the living room with Ayo while he waited for all to fall asleep before he removed his contacts and slept. He would have to wake up early to wear them back.

S H E L I A

I woke up feeling crappy and my neck hurt like hell. A red night lamp was on...wait red? I use blue! Oh, we are in Scarlet's house. I looked around me. April was on a mattress enjoying her slumber while Phyllis was on the far end of the king bed rolled up like a ball. I think she is cold, come to think of it, I woke up because I was cold, where is the comforter?

I should have known!

There Sharon was in the middle, hogging all the space and blanket! I muttered some gobbledegook about my best friend under my breath as I decided to adjust sleeping Phyllis. It was a tug of war between me and Sharon for the comforter which ended with me losing so I went to search for another blanket in Scarlet's wardrobe/closet and used it to cover Phyllis up.

'Great! I've lost sleep thanks to you. When you wake up tomorrow, I'll make sure to make you pay. Geez, she can't sleep in one spot...'

I kept muttering to myself as I went downstairs to get myself some chocomilk. I noticed Ayo sleeping on the floor in the living room and Logan was on the sofa. I subconsciously walked over to where he was to take a better look at his sleeping face.

'Woah Shelia, your boyfriend is hot!'

Indeed inner, indeed.

I used my finger to outline his face from his temple to his chin and only stopped when his eyebrows creased into a pained frown. What's wrong? Is it a nightmare?

"Father..." He moaned in his sleep. "I'm sorry...please stop...please father..."

What's wrong?

"Logan, wake up." I shook him gently awake. He gasped when he did awaken and closed his left eye like the last time. I didn't care anyway so I took him in my arms and gave him hug. He draped his arms around me and heaved heavily.

"Shelia, I need water." He requested softly so I went to get it for him.

L O G A N

While Shelia went to the kitchen, I used the chance to wear my blue contact lenses. I didn't expect her to be there when I woke up from my nightmare so it was a pretty close escape.

'Would Shelia break up with me when she finds out?'

"Here." Shelia gave me a glass of water and sat beside me. "Mind telling me about the nightmare?" She asked and gently placed my head on her shoulder. I sighed, should I tell her?

In the end, I left out the fact that Maru is father in the whole story and told her about my life.

"It's gonna be okay, you'll see." She whispered and kissed my forehead. Her breathing rhythm was my lullaby and I slept on her lap which was kinda risky considering the fact that my contacts were still on.

"YOU BLOODY BASTARDS, COME DOWN HEEERRREEE!"

I shot awake as did Shelia and Ayo. What is that noise?! We all ran to the kitchen where the noise came from, it surprised me to see that Sharon was awakened too, and saw Scarlet throwing a fit. Oh boy, what did we do now?
