"Jaemin, oh my god Jaemin..." Chenle enters the boy's house with Mark and Donghyuk right behind him. The youngest boy quickly brings his friend into a tight hug, sighing as he feels Jaemin's tears stain his shirt. "Hyung...shhh..."

Jaemin tightly grips onto Chenle's shirt, his silent sobs shaking his whole body. "W-why Lele...W-why d-did he l-leave me?"

Chenle's heart breaks at the sight his friend was in. He thought that he would never see Jaemin cry this hard again, but alas, he was wrong. "I...I don't know hyung...I honestly don't know..." Mark and Donghyuk share a look before Mark reaches towards Jaemin's phone that was on the living room table.

"M-mark...what are you d-doing...?"

"I'm calling Taeil to tell him you won't be coming into work tomorrow." He says flatly, opening up Jaemin's boss' contact.

"N-no...I need t-to work t-tomorrow..." Jaemin pleads, he couldn't be stuck up in his house all weekend. He wouldn't be able to handle the loneliness.

But Mark just shakes his head, not caring. "You are going to stay with me, Lele, and Hyukie." He looks Jaemin in the eye. "You are going to be ok." But the boy only cries harder.

"Hyung is right...The four of us are going to go to my house, Yukhei hyung is making me puppy-sit anyways." Chenle smiles softly when Donghyuk comes over and joins him in comforting Jaemin.

"Jaemin-ah, you can cry with the puppy, ok?" Donghyuk smiles proudly when a soft laugh escapes Jaemin's lips. "Yeah, the puppy will comfort you. Come on ok? I'll help you pack up your things." He gently helps the crying boy stand and brings him to his room, taking out clothes and other things he might need or want.

"You'll be ok Nana...I promise..."

"What do you mean he's gone!?" Chenle whispers into his phone, trying to keep his voice down so that Jaemin doesn't hear. They had finally calmed him down and he was tiredly relaxing in the basement of Yukhei and Chenle's house with the puppy and the other two.

Chenle and Renjun were always acquainted with each other, but it wasn't until Jeno and Jaemin became a thing that they started talking more. Which Chenle was very thankful for because he had called Renjun if the boy had any idea what happened.

"I don't know Chenle. I talked to his sister who just said he flew to America."

Chenle groans and pinches the bridge of his nose. "Do you know why or how long he'll be gone?"

"All Sooyun noona told me was that it would be a while till Jeno came back. I'm sorry, I wish I could help more."

Chenle sighs, and places his hand on his hip. "No, it's fine. You've done a ton already, thank you hyung. You should sleep."

"Alright. Goodnight Chenle."

"Night." Chenle quickly ends the call and heads back down to the basement, his head swimming with questions. Many of which would be unanswered.

Mark looks up to him, a hopeful look on his face but it falls once he sees Chenle shake his head. Mark nods solemnly, making a silent pact with the Chinese boy to not bring it up anymore.

"He's asleep." Donghyuk's voice breaks the deafening silence, making the tension let up a bit as Jaemin's snores fill the room.

"Chenle..."

"Jeno is in America."

"What the fuck-"

Chenle shrugs and sits on the couch next to the sleeping Jaemin. "I don't know. That's all the information I could get from Renjun. He doesn't know anything either." He sighs, leaning his head to look up at the ceiling.

Donghyuk frowns at the puppy in his lap. "What are we gonna do?"

"I honestly don't know. I haven't seen him this depressed since Hayoon's funeral..." Mark says, eyes flashing back to the memory. He hadn't seen Jaemin cry so hard, or be so broken. Yes, their anniversary was always hard, but nothing compared to how bad Jaemin was that day. He had lost the most important person in his life in the blink of an eye. One moment she was there and the next she was gone. And now, for the second time in 3 years, Jaemin lost someone again. He was left alone again. And Mark was tired of seeing his best friend get hurt. Jaemin didn't deserve to hurt like this, to suffer anymore. He had done so much for everyone else, so where was the boy's happy ending? Did he even get one?

Mark is shaken of his thoughts when he feels a soft hand intertwining their fingers. He looks to Donghyuk and sniffles, tears stinging his eyes.

"Mark, he'll be ok. We're here to help him...we won't leave him...Jaemin will be ok..." and Mark just nods, too tired to talk.

Jeno exits the airport nervously and extremely. His dad had sent him to live in an apartment complex on his own, set him up for private, online lessons from his teachers back in Korea, and basically cut off all ties he had to his home. To Jaemin.

He sighs, calling a taxi and getting in, mumbling a small greeting in broken English. He sits, turning to the window sadly. "I'm sorry Jaem...please wait for me..."
