No one P.O.V

Dead time had ran and ran from her dad, reaching a market that was on a dock. She stopped, having thought her father had finally given up the chase. However his voice rang out, causing her to panic slightly.

"Dead time stop!!!" She had already stopped, being tired of running, she faced him.

"Go away...go hang out with HER since she matters so much more then me..." she turned away again and began to walk towards the crowd of shoppers.

"Dead time I promise I'll spend as much time as you want with you!" Jack pleaded, trying to get her to not walk away as he began to panic.

This statement caused her to stop once again. She walked towards him slowly, saying something to him. "Time...is...pointless!!!" At pointless she jumped into the air before hitting the ground, eveything turning black and white around them, any movements or noise came to a stop.

"Seconds..." dead time walked over to a frozen person, seeming to pull something out of their chest. Jack watched in a slight panic but also amazement or shock. It couldn't be determined how he felt about all this.

Dead time held a string with a tiny ball like fluff on the end. She then put it back into their chest before walking over to another. She pulled something out again but a little bit bigger this time. "Minutes..." still glowing white strings with a ball on the end. She put it back and walked to another.

"Hours.." she held a glowing white string with a ball around the size of a orange. She put it back and went to Jack, who just watched this all happen, confused, panicked, amazed who knew?

"Years..." she took something from his chest, making him put a paw on his chest in response, looking down at it and wondering why it felt like nothing had happened.

"Just a way of measuring something that is endless and will forever continue on when man has not..something that can easily be taken away..." she stared down at the strings she held in her sleeve covered hoof, the ball on the end of each string being the size of a beach ball.

"But I couldn't do that to you...no matter how mad I may be.." she put the strings back into his chest, smiling sadly at him, tears beginning to fall.

Seeing this caused jack to panic more but he did something that alarmed dead time greatly.

"W-what...what are you doing...stop..stop hurting yourself...please stop" death time grabbed his arms to stop him from inflicting any more wounds then what was already on his body.

"I forgive you..i-i wasnt mad at you..i.." dead time experienced full blown fear for the first time in her life as she got her dad to finally stop harming himself.

Black, inky tears still fell down her face but she held her hooves out and focused on healing her fathers wounds. He just watched in slight shock as the wounds he had inflicted upon himself, sealed up as if they had never been there.

After that was all done she backed away and went to sit on the edge of the dock. She looks down at the water and let's the minute waterfalls of tar hit the midnight blue water. Jack not knowing what to do now he sat by her, looking at her shakily.

"I...I wasn't mad at you...okay?! I...i..I was scared...you...you were gonna leave me...i... " saying this seemed to bring at more feelings and the minute waterfalls just became current streams as she began to sob slightly.

"I just...I just found a good home..someone who actually cares for me and now...I might lose it all...and I was scared...i... " her ears lowered and light blue pupils summoned, being in the shape of melting flowers.

Jack know understanding slightly what had happened, hugged her tightly to his chest. She cried into it and he rubbed her back, letting her cry.

"I'm not going to ditch you kid..." he said quietly, thinking how to phrase what he was thinking into words properly.

"I..i... I thought..you were..replacing me...with her..." dead time said between choked sobs, trying to breathe normally again. "I wasnt replacing you...heck I've been looking for you this whole time and I couldn't find you...do you know how scared I was when i couldn't find you?" He said, looking her in the eyes now.

She wiped the tears from her eyes and looked at him, more threatening to spill still. "I...i... I thought I had been a bad father and that you had left...I was scared you were hurt...or just didn't want me to be Your dad anymore when I saw how angry you were...guess we both failed on communication" he chuckled dryly at the end, dead time smiling a little.

"So neither of us is really mad at the other?" Dead time said quietly. He nodded to this and looked around.

"Your going to need to explain why everyone is frozen and stuff...and what you meant when you said "no one had cared for me-"

"And your going to need to explain why you hurt yourself-"

"A-a-alright.."
