touch

People ask what other effects it has if you're afraid of physical touch and romantic relationships

My answer:
Being afraid to take your partners hand. You know that you can and that you're allowed to, but you're afraid to actually do it.

Kissing too.
Or leaning on their shoulder. Cuddling. Just normal hugs.

It's these simple, easy things that should be normal and nice, but you can't do them because your brain screams "HELP" and "DANGER" if you do.
You KNOW that it's not dangerous and that you're okay, but you still won't do it because of what your brain is telling you.

And you're ashamed of it.
You feel bad.
You feel guilty.

And you're jealous of those who can just easily do all these things.
