We all stayed for a while, listening to the mayor explain the situation and what will be happening to the body once it is identified. We all decided to get home and rest up for the next day. I really couldn't sleep that night, something about the mayor's speech was bugging me, maybe I was just over thinking we rarely have any accidents happen in our town.

The rest of the night I stayed up texting Veronica and finishing homework, knowing this was already going to be a long night. The next day, the body that was found was all over social media and tv stations and it even got out to some towns nearby.

It was the same thing at school, everybody was talking about the body and asking questions to all of the school staff. Most of the morning I was dozing off thinking, nahh mostly falling asleep. During my 4th period, which was Geometry I ended up slamming my face onto the desk and that was when I became full awake. The teacher just looked at me like he had just given up in life and some students were laughing.

"Yo, you okay that was a pretty hard fall" Ashton says trying to hold his laughter.

"Ughh yes, sadly, so what did I miss?" I replied, yawning.

"You missed like all of the morning lessons," Zenix says with an overbearing tone looking at me with a straight face.

"Well it looks like I didn't miss anything then" I replied. "Pretty much!" Veronica says, still trying to contain her laughter. The lich bell rings and we end up going our own ways, I headed to the library, Veronica went to her clubs meeting and the guys went for actual food. As I headed to the library, I stopped by a vending machine to get a snack, knowing I wouldn't be able to get lunch today.

The library was pretty full, mostly students researching and playing on their computers, but it was pretty quiet. I walked along the corridors of books, searching for any book that catches my attention. After several minutes of searching, I had about three books on me and decided to go check them out. That was until I bumped into a student and we both dropped our books. We both quickly apologized and picked our books up, the student left before I could give him back the other book he dropped.

I waited a while in the library, walking around to see if they would come back for the book but they never came back. I got curious and looked at the book, it didn't look like any of the books the library usually owns. The book looked old, it was starting to fall apart and it had a leather cover, with some unreadable words. The bell rings, I put the book in my bag and leave the library.

As I walked towards class I bumped into Madison, our eyes locked and she looked at me in disgust. Which makes me wonder how Zenix can stand her, because from my experience he is really inpatient and has trouble tolerating people. I walked into my music class, Veronica was already in class and getting ready to do nothing for the rest of the period. Ashton and Zenix joined us and we all started talking, from time to time I will stare at my backpack wondering about the book. 

"Ok Fay you keep staring at your backpack, is the backpack prettier than us?" Zenix asks fake crying, while Ashton and Veronica just sigh and look at me questionably. "Honestly my backpack is way prettier than you guys and so much more worth it!"I say smiling while sticking my tongue out. "Seriously," Ashton says unbothered. "To be honest dear brother, that back is prettier than you!" Veronica replies, joining me.

Zenix started faking he was hurt and Ashton joined him, even though he hadn't said anything to him, maybe. We all kept laughing and arguing until the end of class, once our class ended we all went our own way until we met up after school at the front of the school. Surprisingly, the guys weren't going to walk their girlfriends, most of the time they would. "So what was with you staring at your backpack today? Ashton asked.

"Oh that, well technically I am hiding something but you are gonna have to catch me!" I yelled and sprinted towards my house, I heard them groan and starting to run.

Once I got home, I locked the door and went straight into my room, changed into some pj's and put some TeenWolf on my TV. After a few minutes I heard footsteps in the house, I knew I was home alone so I got a bat that was laying around in my bedroom and I headed slowly down the stairs. The bottom floor was pretty dark, I heard pots and pans falling from the kitchen. When I get to the kitchen, I see some flashlights, I turned on the lights and I saw Veronica, Zenix and Ashton.

When I turned on the lights we all screamed, I was about to hit them with a bat while they were searching my kitchen for food. "What the hell are you guys doing and how did you guys get inside my house?!" I asked concerned and confused. "Well first of all we were hungry and secondly I have a copy of your house key" Zenix answered happily eating some doritos. We all asked him why in sync and he just shrugged it off.

We all looked at each other with concern, mostly me since he has a copy of my house key. "So can you now tell us why we had to chase you to your house?" Ashton asks, now they all were staring at me. I led them to my room and took out the aged book. They stared at me and sighed in frustration, "Did we really just come to your house for an old book?!" Veronica asked shocked. "And food," I replied. They all answered with true, "But what is interesting to me is what is written inside, most of it isn't readable."

They all shrugged it off and we opened the book and started to read it or at least figure out what it was saying.
