Chapter 17

The weather was nice outside.

The loud cries of thunders and whimpering sounds of the rains pouring down making the clashing swords and shooting in this room inaudible.

"I bet you're enjoying the view, aren't you, Yang Yang?"

I said, glaring at the younger male.

Smiling mischievously, he placed the end of his sword on a soldier's bloody chest.

Dragging it down to his abdomen, pushing it deeper, digging into his flesh before Yang Yang pulled it out from him.

"You have eyes and aren't blind, Ten,"

He replied, flashing a smile at Ten which could send a shiver down on most people's spines.

"Just keep it clean. I don't want to clean your mess, kid,"

I said as I took a cigs from my breast pocket and lit it. Taking a deep breath before puffed it out at him.

"I know, chimney,"

He replied, disgusted with my habit of smoking as I smirking, nodding at his words and took another puff before threw it under my feet, crushing it with my heel.

"Good,"

I replied him back, looking behind me and shot the chandelier as it fell down on the now dead soldiers before we jumped out from one of the the OA meeting places, the Na Estate.

Signing the last piece of paper, I leaning down to my chair before taking the pipe of hookah and placed at the edge of my lips, inhaling it deeply before watched the smoke came out and disappeared.

"Master,"

My butler called as I whipped my head to left and gave him a look.

"Hm?"

I grunted, feeling annoyed because he disturbed me during my free time, gripping the pipe tight on my hand as he shuffled.

"A maid just told me that Miss Y/N is waiting to have a dinner with you, sir,"

Looking at him, I shrugged, taking my waistcoat from his grip and walked out from my study directly to the dining room.

Pushing the doors, I looked at Y/N who looked at me with a smile, her eyes were closed and I could notice a faint dimple on her left cheek.

Walking to the other side of the table, I sat down as the butler placed on the handkerchief and the utensils in front of me.

Eating the soup slowly, I could only bear half of it, dabbed my lips clean and watching her eating.

After she finished her soup, we were served with bœuf bourguignon, still warm as the steam came out softly.

"How was your day?"

"Fine, thank you for asking,"

She replied, cutting the potatoes smaller before ate them and the tenderised meats.

"How about you?"

"Just like the usual,"

I replied short.

I hoped she didn't think that I dislike her or something for the short reply.

She looked nice in her dress even though it looked modest on her with a small gold rose brooch attached on her chest.

While eating, my head surrounded by many questions that eager to be asked, but I was too nervous to ask her.

"Do you like it?"

"Hmm?"

She looked at me, placing down the utensils and making it clattered on her plate's side.

"You know, the others and your room,"

"I love it,"

"Everyone's so kind and the room's really great,"

She replied.

"This is the latest information that I received from the capital city,"

Tearing down the brown envelope, I took out the papers and reading them thoroughly, not wanting to miss every single detail.

"That girl has arrived?"

"Yes, she has, sir,"

"Interesting,"

I replied, leaning my back towards the leather chair and humming slightly.

Jeno, my right hand man, took her under his wing and placing her in the headquarter.

Yet, Jaemin hadn't done anything yet, purposely making their main resident in chaos then flew to his place.

"Kun, what about him?"

"He helped Jeno by brought the human girl to his headquarter,"

"And Jaemin?"

"He helped Jaemin to sneak one of his maids inside Jeno's resident and assigned her as a maid to tell her about his deal,"

I felt pity to both Jaemin and Jeno, power had messed their heads up and this girl was on the brink of thin ice.

Yet, Kun and the East princes avoided the others as if they were infected by plague.

Y/N...

Her grandfather, Duke of Weissmann, made a deal with me and I got his grandchild as my soon in-law.

Though, I must agree that this girl was something.

"What's Jaemin deal with this girl?"

"He would tell her the prophecy about her destiny and what to do in here,"

"In exchange for some information about Jeno's plan to attack south part of Heaven,"

"If I were her, I won't reconsider about accepting it,"

"Well, she accepted it,"

"Just to know about the prophecy?"

"No, to come back to her world and for this,"

He placed a rose gold letter on my desk.

There wasn't anything written in the envelope other than 'For the King of Inferno'.

Ripping it open, I read the letter quick, feeling astonished by this bold letter before a smirk crept on my face.

"She truly wants to know?"

"I guess,"

In the letter, it was written that she would be delighted to meet me and have a small talk while drinking tea with me.

But, I knew for sure.

She wanted to know how to get back to her place, leaving these boys under my care and never came back.

Feeling scared with the fact that her existence would disturb the the balance of nature and universe.

"This,"

I said, fanning the piece of paper over my head.

"Is a trash,"

I crumpled the paper before unfolded it and burnt it with the light from a candle on my desk.

"If she truly wants to go back home,"

"Then, she has no other way that either to choose the next king or let her blood spilled on the war ground to attract the people's attentions,"

I replied.
