Hana stared at the 'puppy' standing in front of her and she couldn't help but gulp at the size of the thing. It definitely wasn't a puppy, that was for sure. Hana had no idea why Hoseok called it a puppy.

It stood the size of a wolf, maybe even bigger than a regular wolf. It's fur was jet black and it's eyes were the coldest of blues Hana had ever seen. It's fangs were larger than a regular wolf and Hana's heart skipped a beat at the size of it's claws. It was a beautiful...creature but it wasn't a puppy.

"This is for you!" Hoseok said proudly "This is a present for you"

"W-what is it?"

"It's a Hellhound" 

"You can't give a monster like that to her!" Taehyung cried out "It will eat her alive! It's scary"

Hoseok chuckled "This isn't a Hellhound in it's full form, slave 1. And it's not for you, so shut up"

"Why did you get me this?" Hana asked, not able to take her eyes away from the electric blue eyes of the Hellhound standing in front of her.

"Because Jimin said that puppy's cheer girls up. So I decided to go one better and get you him"

"I...I see, but, um, it's really not-not a puppy" Hana said and the Hellhound tilted it's head and licked it's lips as it stared at Hana "It-it won't e-eat me r-right?"

"Nope!" Hoseok grinned "It is your pet and it will protect you if I'm not there to do so. It doesn't have a name"

"Your highness" Jimin said "I'm not sure it wants to be a pet"

The room errupted into screams as the Hellhound charged forward towards Hana. She screamed out falling to the floor and before anyone could put it down, it slid to a stop and shoved it's face into Hana's. Her heart was in her throat and no one moved. It nudged her chin and growled slightly, before sitting down in front of her, swishing it's large tail back and forth.

"See" Hoseok said, proudly "I am never wrong"

"What i-is it doing?" Hana asked quietly, as the Hellhound carried on staring at her "Is-is it hungry?"

Hoseok sat on the floor and scratched the Hellhound's ear "No. He has eaten and I told you, he won't eat you. He will protect you. You need to name him...I don't name Hellhound's but you should give him a name. Since he is your pet"

"I..." Hana paused and lifted her shaking hand to the Hellhound's head "I've never had a pet before. I wouldn't know what to call it"

"It's a boy" Hoseok said "Everyone, you may leave now"

Jimin ushered everyone out, including Taehyung and Yoongi. Hoseok stretched his legs out and watched Hana stare at his gift to her. He wasn't sure how to read her emotions but he knew for one thing, he did well.

"What about Olaf?" Hoseok said and the Hellhound snapped at the hand still on his ear "Maybe not"

Hana laughed slightly "I shouldn't have shown you Frozen. I can't name a dog from Hell, Olaf"

"Like you could do any better" Hoseok pouted.

Hana smiled slightly and Hoseok's face flushed "It needs to be a name that suits this huge wolf in front of me"

"It's a Hellhound"

"I know that!" Hana said "But saying Hellhound every time is going to be annoying"

"Tch. You're no fun" Hoseok mumbled "Do you have a name yet?"

Hana nodded "I have 3 actually. Thor...Loki...or Mickey"

The Hellhound huffed and flicked his tail, and the impact of his tail on the floor make Hana jump. She smiled and looked at Hoseok.

"Thank you"

"Whatever" Hoseok said, looking away from her as he felt a twinge in his chest "Hurry up and name him. I am getting bored and I'm sitting on the floor like a peasant"

"Sergeant Buttons" Hana grinned and the Hellhound tilted his head "You don't like it? But...I think it's cute"

The Hellhound swished his tail back and forth and Hana laughed. She got onto her knees and wrapped her arms around her new pet, and felt Sergeant Buttons rest his head on her shoulder.

Hoseok went to put his hand on Hana, but the Hellhound growled and he quickly pulled his hand back, glaring at the beast hugging his future wife.

"I'll have you know that I am king" Hoseok said "And if you try to bite me again, you will be disposed of"

"Hoseok!" Hana said "You can't do that! Buttons won't bite you. Will you?"

Buttons bashed her hand and looked back at Hoseok. Hoseok was sure that if a Hellhound could smirk, he would be smirking at him right now.

Hoseok huffed and got to his feet "Let's go for a walk. There are places which I need to show you"

Hana got to her feet and Buttons stood between Hoseok and Hana "Look! He is so cute!"

"Sure he is" Hoseok pouted "I'm cuter. Right?"

Hana blushed and looked away "What do you need to show me?"

"My...sorry...our palace" Hoseok said holding his hand out to her. He ignored the growls from Buttons and Hana slowly put her hand in his "You may not like the way the devils contract works, but there is no breaking it or changing it"

"But" Hana said "It has been changed"

Hoseok stopped walking but didn't look back at Hana "You heard?"

"I did" Hana said "Hoseok....what's the deal with you and Jin?"

"Don't mention my brothers name" Hoseok said "He isn't to be mentioned again"

"I just...I just want to understand why you two want each other dead" Hana said "And why I was promised to him, but I'm to marry you? I don't get it"

Hoseok gulped "I'm not discussing my brother right now. Not while I finally get to spend time with you"

Hana sighed "Do you hate him?"

"I am not talking about him!" Hoseok said turning to Hana "What don't you understand about what I have just said?"

Hana pulled her hand away from Hoseok and looked away "I'm sorry"

Hoseok ran his hands through his hair in frustration "I'll show you the palace another time. I'm going for a walk"

"I'm sorry for upsetting you"

"Whatever" Hoseok said walking away, leaving Hana with Buttons.

Hana rubbed the sharp pain in her chest and looked down at Sergeant Buttons, who was just staring at her. She sighed and dropped to her knees, hugging him tightly.

"Why can't my life ever be simple?" She said quietly "Does he think I hate him?"

"He doesn't"

Hana jumped at a girls voice. She looked up to see a petite blonde girl standing there. Hana slowly got to her feet and cleared her throat.

"I didn't hear you"

The girl lifted her eyebrow "Why would you? I'm a demon. Did Hoseok get you that?"

Hana nodded "He gave him to me as a pet"

"Is he stupid? Who gives a newly formed demon a Hellhound?" The girl snorted "Whatever. I can't control what he does anyway. So...you must be Hana. His bride"

Hana nodded "I...I am"

"Are you scared of me?"

"N-no"

"That's a lie" She smirked "You don't need to be scared of me"

"Sorry" Hana said, "It's just...I don't know. I'm trying to adjust and-"

"Don't apologise" The girl laughed "I'm glad I finally got to meet you. Hoseok and Jimin have been keeping me away from you"

Hana frowned and was on guard instantly "Why?

"They think I'm going to steal you from them" The girl rolled her eyes "Like I would. You're my future queen and I'm Jimin's sister"

"Jimin has a sister?"

"Yup!" The girl grinned and walked forward "Nice to finally meet you Hana. I'm Bee and I'm your right hand man or bodyguard as you humans call it"
