Hana tried her best to show that she wasn't scared. But the creatures standing in chains before her would have made the bravest of men shake in their boots. 

Five of them stood with heavy chains wrapped around their skinny necks, their hollow eyes watching those move around them. The bodies resembled a body that had almost decomposed, almost mummified. It's body skinny, and hollow, with a thin layer of skin showing nearly every bone they had in their body. Each other them had three long fingers and toes with sharp nails, protruding from the thin layer of skin. Only two holes sat where their nose should have been, and their mouth had no lips, just serrated teeth filling up the dark mouth. If they had eyes, they were as dark as the night sky with one small white dot in the centre, that allowed them to see. Their lower body covered in a dirty loin cloth and a necklace of bones hung around their necks.

They were staring at Hana with their hollow eyes, and it made her blood run cold as their long pointed tongues flicked around their chins. She gulped and looked over at Hoseok who didn't look bothered by the creatures standing before him.

"As a ghoul of the prison" Hoseok said "You have only one job...and you failed. Can you tell me why?"

The ghouls looked at each other and didn't speak. Hana gripped her skirt tightly as they looked back over at them. One ghoul's eyes never left Hana's face and she shifted uncomfortably, wanting to leave. But Hoseok said that she needed to stay so she could learn how to deal with the creatures of Hell.

"If you do not speak, you will die" Hoseok said standing up "Do not forget that I can replace you with ease. Now speak!"

"He...got...help" One spoke and painful shivers shot through Hana's body at the ghouls voice. To her, it was like someone had ran their nails down a chalk board, or scraped their cutlery on a plate. Their voice was like poison to her ears and she hated the way it looked at her as they spoke. 

"Who helped them?"

"Girl...was...girl" Its dark eyes found Hana's and it stepped forward, but was yanked back by the demon holding onto it's chain. It screeched loudly and carried on staring at Hana.

Hoseok stepped in front of Hana "If you look want to keep your eyes, I would stop looking at her. She is not to be fed on"

The ghouls dropped their gaze to the floor and Hana tried to stop herself from shaking. Hoseok sat back down and reached over the arm of his throne and grabbed her hand. He squeezed slightly but didn't stop looking at the ghouls.

"You have 5 seconds to tell me who helped my brother and his followers escape" Hoseok said, clicking his fingers and demons stepped forward, pointing swords at the ghouls "Start talking"

"Was...girl...demon" One said "Not...name...don't...know"

"3 seconds"

"Began...D...was...marry...you"

Hoseok waved his hand and the demons dropped their swords "Jimin, show them the picture of the demon"

"Yes your highness" Jimin said and he walked to the ghouls who were now deadly still "Was this her?"

"Began...D...was...yes...her"

Jimin looked up at Hoseok "You were right your highness"

"I thought I was" Hoseok said "Send them back to the prison but ghouls. If you fail to do your job again, you will be killed"

"Highness...yes" They said and were dragged away by the other guards.

"I didn't think she would be stupid enough to help them" Jimin said "Hell was warned about what would happen to those who went against the king"

"She sealed her fate" Hoseok said looking over at Hana "Are you ok?"

"They...they were so...hideous" Hana said quietly "Every time they looked at me, it was like they were staring into my soul"

"Ghouls prefer to feed from females" Hoseok said "It's common knowledge but their job was to kill anything that tried to escape"

"Hoseok. Who helped them escape?" Hana asked, "Shouldn't you try to-"

"Are you hungry?" Hoseok asked "I am. Jimin, get the cook to prepare food for us all. Tell Bee she is wanted at the table this time"

"Yes Hoseok" Jimin said "Can I ask why Bee is needed?"

"No" Hoseok said "Hana, lets go. I can show you something if you want?"

Hana sighed and stood up "Why are you trying to change the subject? Am I not allowed to know who betrayed you?"

"Demons betray me all the time Hana" Hoseok said, leading her away from the throne room "It's something I've gotten used to"

"Maybe so, but they helped your brother escape" She said "That's a pretty big betrayal. What are you going to do? Are you going to kill them? Are you going to throw them in prison? Or are you-"

"Why are you asking so many questions?" Hoseok said "Do you ever stop asking questions?"

"You were the one to wake me up just so I could learn how to deal with other creatures" Hana pouted "Is it wrong to be interested in how you plan to take care of the traitors?"

"Well...no"

"Then answer the questions...please"

Hoseok tutted "Fine. I will answer your questions"

"Good!" Hana said with a big grin on her face "So, who helped them escape? They have to know how that jail works and how to get past the ghouls and-"

"You know of them" Hoseok muttered and led her upstairs "But first, I want to show you something"

"Hmm. Ok" Hana said "Then will you tell me what is going to happen?"

"Yes" Hoseok said and unlocked a large door, before motioning Hana inside "It was about time I showed you this"

"Wow" Hana said looking around the room "Were these pictures painted?"

"Yes" Hoseok said and pulled her over to a group of pictures "Those two standing there...they were my parents"

Hana looked up at Hoseok who was staring at the pictures. She linked her fingers with his and squeezed slightly "You know it wasn't your fault"

"Maybe so, but I still killed them" Hoseok said "They died because they were protecting Jin even though he was the who wanted to kill them. My parents were harsh and at times cruel to us both, but I never thought that Jin would want to kill them"

"Jin is troubled" Hana said quietly "And I will never forgive him for what he did"

"Neither will I" Hoseok said and looked down at Hana "But he isn't the monster"

Hana punched Hoseok in the shoulder, catching him off guard "You are not a monster! He is the monster. Not you"

"He-"

"Shut up" Hana hissed "You are not a monster and you will never be a monster. Just because you have a crazy angry thing hiding inside you doesn't mean you are a god damn monster. I told Taehyung this and I will tell you this...we all have a monster inside us, but that doesn't define who we are"

"Shit. I told you not to use that word so freely around me"

"Then believe that you are not a monster" Hana said "I will keep on using the word only because I know that it pisses you off"

Hoseok lifted his eyebrow at her "You know what buttons to push Hana"

Hana smiled "My parents raised me well"

Hoseok sighed "Hana, I don't think I ever told you this. But I'm sorry. For what my brother did to your parents"

Hana swallowed back tears "You don't have to say sorry for your brother...but thank you Hoseok"
