After they were done talking to the witches, Simon had woken up till then, one of the witches gave Cheng a towel that he tied around himself.

And Zhan joined them soon, "these people know nothing, about those spirits. Apparently, they just came out of nowhere and attacked them."

Marius raised an eyebrow, "and they were even able to break the barrier?"

Simon spoke, "maybe it was not the spirits who broke the barrier it was the one leading them, the who you were fighting with alpha."

Sean pinched the bridge of his nose, "Why are they doing this? why are they attacking our alliances?"

Simon spoke, "maybe because they can't attack our pack, I mean I am not trying to brag but if these spirits attacked our pack directly head on then they will be doomed because all the warriors including you both plus since the highest power of spiritual power even I can channel the greater amount of power..."

Marius spoke, "so these things are trying to attack the allies to bring us out? and attack us when we are alone."

Sean nodded, "maybe yes, because the alpha and beta are the only ones who can transport in the territories of our alliances and we can take a maximum of two people with so yeah we can't bring a lot of manpower with us."

Marius sighed, "they are going to kill all your allies at this point and worse thing that can happen that if the others got to know that it is because of you that they are dying then we can get in serious trouble.

People will start to blame us and might attack the pack and even break the alliances and friendships with the pack"

Sean spoke, "Can't we cast a protective barrier on every alliance?"

Simon looked at him, "I don't think so, you have a lot I mean a lot of alliances and acquaintances we can't go to each and every one of them and cast a barrier on them... a very strong protection spell is not something that every sorcerer can cast.

I can do a maximum of five and if I tried more than that then I am as good as dead."

Sean sighed as they started to walk out of the witch territory, "first can you cast a barrier on this witch coven?"

Simon spoke, "I can but do you think those spirits will come back here and attack these witches again?"

Zhan replied, "I don't want to take any risks, one of the pack was completely wiped out and the other's half of the members were killed even here out of fifty twenty-seven are dead."

Simon nodded, "I understand."

And Marius added, "how about we leave some of our warriors here as well."

"Good idea."

Once Simon was done casting the spell the three left and came back to Zhan's house that was beside that off Yibo's house.

"So this is where you have been staying huh?" Simon said as he stared at the new house, "not bad."

Sean sat down as well and so did Marius he yawned as he said, "I feel so tired."

Sean looked at him but rolled his eyes, and Simon said, "so I said earlier casting so a magic barrier around all the alliances is next to impossible."

Marius spoke, "maybe we should ask for help from the council."

Sean thought about it and Simon agreed as well, "he is right, the guardians have immense power and they can help us." he then also added, "at the same time they can ask help form Croia even though I don't think that would be needed since guardians themselves are so powerful"'

Croia was like a parallel earth, made for the great dragon spirit by the universe itself, a place wehre the dragons, vampires, serpents and many other supernatural creatures lived in Croai these being roamed freely but on earth they had to live hidden.

And the council was the one that connected the two worlds, the earth side was mainly looked after by the guardians being of light assisted by the light witches.

The guardians were keepers a police for the supernatural creatures that kept them in check and keot the curious humans in check as well they maintained the balance on earth and the one who checked on a guardian was the nature itself.

While the Croia side was looked after by the necromancer beings of darkness assisted by black witches, the necromancer and the guardians worked together in sync to maintain the balance among the two worlds.

They were made by the nature it self and granted power by the nature itself they held celestial weapons bestowed to both of them by the nature so naturally they held a lot of power.

Sean finally spoke, "fine we will pay a visit to the council and ask the guardians for help."

Simon nodded, "While I will go to Croia to investigate and see if something weird is going on over there or not. Also to get a little energy."

The other two agreed.

It was already morning by this time and Zhan suddenly became stiff when he heard this mate's scent.

He got up and went out of the house only to see Yibo walking outside the house and Zhan was shocked to see him looking so pale and sick.

Simon also got out as he ws curious to see what was going on and Marius followed, "is he? his mate?"

Marius nodded, "yes he is."

"Why does he look so pale?"

"I don't know... but it's not going to be good," Marius spoke as he was worried about Ziyi.

Yibo's head was bandaged a little, as he walked to his car, he held his head and felt weak, and tired he wanted to sleep.

But thanks to the nature and the calm environment of this place he was able to feel relaxed had he been in the city he would have been crying by now.

Once he reached his car, he suddenly felt a wave of dizziness that made him stumble back and he felt someone catching him from behind.

Zhan held his waist and hand as he looked at him with form eyes and worry,"Are you okay?"

Yibo looked at him and nodded, "yeah I am."

However Zhan did not let go as he still held onto Yibo's waist, "you are not going to drive when you are feeling dizzy right? the Yibo I knew is not that dumb."

Yibo looked ashamed as he looked down and Zhan glared at him, "are you a fool or what? if you are not well then stay at home and rest."

Zhan then thought that Ziyi was the reason that Yibo was sick so he said, "or you can come to my house."

Yibo looked at him and smiled, "I am alright.... Zhan, I have to go to work."

Zhan sighed as he stared at Yibo for sometime,"give me your car keys I will drive you."

"It's not-"

"Just give me the damn keys!"

Zhan said and Yibo gave him the keys, Zhan opened the passenger door for him as Yibo sat down on the passenger, Zhan then closed the door and walked to the driver's side however before he sat down in the car he saw Ziyi looking at them from the window of their bedroom.

Zhan clenched his fist and glared at her, because he blamed her for Yibo's condition, however he can't do anything to her, good for her that she was Marius's mate or she would be six feet under the ground by now.

Zhan thought as he drove the car.

While Ziyi watched them through the window.

Simon looked at them leave before he came back, "Zhan's mate.... he looks weak..."

Marius looked at him and asked, "well he is a human so..."

"Ah... I see they get sick so easily." Simon said while Marius also sat down on the sofa, "I also need to go for my work." he said, he was a little sad that he won't be able to go to Ziyi's house today.

"How did you get that wound?" Zhan asked, when though he knew very well how and by whom he still asked since he wanted an honest answer from Yibo.

But Yibo said, "Nothing... I just fell from my bed."

Zhan clenched the steering wheel tightly, "I see... was your wife angry... when you reached home so late."

"Yeah she was, very angry actually and she was right to be angry..."

Zhan sighed with disbelief, "what seriously? you were the one who was stuck in rain while she was waiting inside the warm house..."

Yibo pressed his lips together, "Ziyi can't be left alone for a long time, she gets sick, and when I am not by her side she gets scared and more anxious that only feeds to her sickness it's not her fault Zhan... she is going through a lot..."

"And you aren't?" Zhan said while Yibo clenched his fists together he was going through a lot indeed but it was nothing compared to what Ziyi was going through, "I am fine Zhan... I can handle myself."

Zhan sighed and didn't say anything he just gritted his teeth together, "you can talk to me you know."

Yibo smiled, "I am glad to know that... maybe one day I will."

Once Zhan reached Yibo's office he got down from the car and so did Yibo, "thanks for the help." he said and Zhan smiled, "anytime I will park your car."

"How will you go back?"

"Don't worry about it..." Zhan said as he looked at Yibo's wound one last time before he said, "Take care of yourself."

"You too."
