The doorbell rang and disturbed Ziyi's sleep. She got up from the bed and finally walked down.

She opened the door and saw Marius standing over there, with a happy smile.

While Ziyi had a poker face.

Why the fuck is this man always smiling?

"May I come in?" Marius said and Ziyi moved to the side to make way for him.

Marius came inside, "I will get to work by the miss. Would you like me to cook for you?"

"No, thanks, I can do that on my own, just clean the house and then the garden."

"Oh and laundry?"

"I can do that," she said before she went upstairs to take a bath.

"Where are you going?" Marius asked and Ziyi glared at him and did not reply she only walked to her room.

Ziyi took a towel and walked inside the bathroom was quiet bug and spacious.

When she looked around she rolled her eyes, "Yibo's ancestor must be really rich." she mumbled before she filled the bath tub and got inside it.

A deep sigh escaped her mouth as she closed her eyes and leaned back agaisnt the bath tub, she felt so tired.

As she slowly slowly closed her eyes and lowered her body more and more into the water, before she was completly submerged inside the water with her eyes closed and about to sleep.

The bubbles were made in the water as she exhaled.

However the relief did not last long as she soon saw something flash before her eyes.

An ear peircing earth shattering scream of a woman.

Immense agony, Crying and wailing of a woman, as well as begging for mercy and for the person inflicting pain on her to stop.

The maniacle laughter of ther person before them.

Ziyi's opened agains as she gasped taking in water before she sat up and coughed violenlty, holding her chest as her tears flew down her cheeks.

Her body shivering as she felt cold, so cold.

At this time a knock on the door starled her as, "Mrs. Wang..."

It was Marius, Marius had heard her coughing violently thanks to his super hearing and he also hear her sniffling, he knew that she was crying.

"Are you okay?" He asked gently.

Ziyi wiped her tears but her heart was still beating fast as she said, "I am okay. Do you want something?"

"No... I actually heard- I mean I have done with the cleaning and all."

"So fast?" Ziyi said as she slowly got out of the bath tub on her weak and her shovering legs her body was shaking so badly as if she was standing naked under the snow.

"So fast." she said as she wrapped the towel around her body.

Marius did not reply immediately he asnwered a minute later, "It has been two hours ."

Ziyi's body froze and her eyes got filled with tears of frustration as she kept her hand on the counter and looked at herself in the mirror, she looked at her sorry self.

She covered her mouth as she cried however it was useless sicne Marius can very well listen to her cries, she took a deep breathe and said, "I will be down so go and wait for me."

She said and Marius clenched his fists as he heard her sobs it ripped his heart apart when he got to know that his mate was in pain and there was nothing he can do about it expect hear her cry, "alright."

He said and left however even if he goes out he can still hear her cry.

A few minutes later Ziyi came down as well, her face was pale and so were her lips, she felt very cold as she looked around, and indeed it all looked clean.

"Good work for today."

She said, her voice came out as rough, Marius smiled, "um..."

"What is it?" she asked however as soon as she said that a loud thunder sound can be heard outside, her eyes widened as she finally looked out of the window and saw the dark sky and heavy rain accompanied with thunder and also heavy winds were blowing.

"Um.. till it's raining can I stay here?" Marius asked and Ziyi looked at him and nodded.

Marius smiled," great, then may I cook something for you?"

"No thanks, Yibo must have left something to eat anyways."

Marius nodded, "I see." Ziyi then sat down on the sofa, "you can sit down as well."

"Thanks but you are not going to eat?"

Ziyi looked at him, "go and warm and then bring it to me." Marius said a brow and smiled, "yes ma'am."

Ziyi squinted her eyes at him a few minutes later Marius came to her and gave her the food, she took the food and said, "why the hell are you always smiling?"

Marius looked at her with amusement he did not expect this question, "why? is there something wrong with my smile?"

"Yes, it's creepy." she said as she blew her food and started to eat.

"Oh why so?"

Ziyi chewed and swallowed her food before she said, "you used to always look at me with scorn and disdain and anger so I am a little creeped out by your smile. Since you never really smiled at me in the past unless you were mocking me of course."

Marius's smiled vanished at this and he clenched his fist and so did his heart, as he looked down and said, "I am sorry Ziyi."

Ziyi slowed down her movements as she heard him, "I am sorry for everything."

"It's been a long time forget it, life has given me worse shit to deal with your torture was baby before all the shit I have went through."

"I am still sorry," Marius said as he wanted to ask more about her, he wanted to know what the hell did she went through to make her look like this.

Ziyi then looked at him, "why dod you hate me so much? was it because I was ugly?"

"You were never ugly, your appearence was the least of my concern."

"Then why?" she asked.

Marius gulped, "I used to see you, observe lettin all these people trample all over you, and you would do or say nothing, everytime I would hope that now you will say something now you will fight, now you will ask for help and I would help you and you never did.

And when they started to bully you even more you did nothing I got mad at you."

Ziyi nodded before she smirked, "no one likes weak people anyways. However others stopped bullying me when you stepped in though."

"That's because I warned them not to bother you, I wanted you to fight back with me, slap me yell at me and curse just anythung but you never did, and just vanished one day." Marius said in a gentle voice.

Ziyi's hands were shaking as she kept the plates on the table, "I see. So if I beat you now... will you take it?"

Marius looked at her and smiled, "of course, you can ebat me curse me whip me all you want."

Ziyi smiled but her smile was not genuine it was miserable, "good to know that you are really sorry." she slowly laid down on the sofa and curled herself into a ball, "leave when the rain stops." was all she said before she closed her eyes.

While Marius stared at her for sometime before he slowly went to her and kneeld down before her and gently held her hand and was shocked to feel how cold her hand was, he squeezed her cold thin hand and gently whispered, "sorry."

Yibo's work was done and it was time to leave, he packed his stuff and left the office and as soon as he came out he saw Zhan already waiting for him in his car already.

The car window lowered and Zhan winked while Yibo rolled his eyes and walked towards the car and sat  on the passenger seat.

"How was your day."Zhan asked and Yibo looked at him.

"Why are you saying that?"

"I am just trying to start a conversation."

"Why ? can't you stay quiet."

"No I can't, I want to talk to you."

"Why do you want to talk to me?"

Zhan smiled, "no reason, I just want to know about you, like where have you been all these years, how have you been, how are your parents."

Yibo's body stilled when his parents were mentioned before he said, "my parents... are dead."

Zhan's smiled dimmed as well, "Oh... I see."

There was silence before Zhan asked again, "when did you meet your wife?"

"I have know her since my diaper days her parents and my parents were acquaintances they often met for business and I would meet with Ziyi as well."

"I see."

The car ride was going smoothly however soon the clouds started to rumble, "looks like it is going to rain."

"That's nothing new." Zhan answered however his face suddenly became firm as he saw something outside.

Yibo was looking out before he felt that he saw something as well, he saw not one but at least three black human like figured outisde the car in a row.

He sat straight, "Zhan what are- WOAH!" before he can complete his sentence Zhan suddenly turned the steering wheel and the car turned around, Yibo grabbed the handle tightly.

"Zhan!" Yibo yelled as the car suddenly went off road into the forest, "WATCH OUT!"

Yibo said as the car crashed into the tree.

The headlights went off and their was complete darkness and silence.

Yibo took out his phont and turned on the flashlight as he called out Zhan again, "Zhan."

"I am here." Zhan replied as Yibo turned the flashlight towards him making his face glow, "what happened?"

Zhan smiled before he leaned and came very close to Yibo so close that Yibo had to move back, however Yibo's eyes widened when Zhan grabbed his neck from behind and pulled him forward, "what are you doing?"

Zhan smiled, "good night." he said before he the nail of his thumb of the hand thwas hoilding Yibo's neck as Zhan slighty scracthed the skin on Yibo's neck before Yibo eyes went heavy and he fell asleep.

Zhan gently laid him on the seat and his smile vanished before stepped out with the most murderous intent in his eyes as he looked at the black figures surrounding him.

"Fuck you all."

Author's note: So sorry for not updating yesterday acutally I had recieved a messge yesterday, basically cursing me for introducing a hetro couple, in this book as well as in Tom and Jerry.

Like this person was actually super mad at me and cursing me because I ship Cheng and Ziyi and not Yanli and Ziyi or Cheng and Haikuan like come on just how free is this person in life to bother others for this reason!

And if that person is reading this  then FUCK YOU! YOU ARE NOT WELCOMED HERE.

 I SHIP ZIYI AND CHENG AND THAT'S NOT GOING TO CHANGE REMEMBER THAT. They are going to have a good amount of moments I have already said that in the disclaimer!
