When Marius entered the house it was a mess with only Ziyi sitting on the ground crying her eyes out.

Marius looked at her and felt his heart being crushed over and over again by a bulldozer.

His mate loved someone else and probably still does and was also pregnant with that man's child at some point.

He didn't know what to think about; he didn't know what to feel about all this and so he did not feel anything. He blocked those thoughts and focused on his mate who seemed to be in great pain.

So much pain that even he can feel that.

So he slowly and gently walked towards her and sat down before her he raised his hand to touch her shoulder but stopped in the mid-way before he said, "Ziyi..." his voice came out as a weak whisper that he himself had not expected.

Ziyi stopped shaking before she bought her face out of her hands and finally looked at Marius with her face stained with tears, eyes red as hell and swollen,  as more and more tears slipped her eyes while she pressed her lips together to suppress a sound from coming out.

She looked at Marius helplessly and Marius once again felt helpless something he felt when his parents had died and their dead bodies were present before him, and he was supposed to be strong and be proud of them for supporting the alpha.

Proud of them for dying.

What a foolish notion.

However back then he suppressed his anger, his sadness his questions, and smiled as he was damned proud of his parents.

And now he was going to suppress all his feeling and emotions and focus on his mate, he raised his hand for her to take she looked at it and then at him, "would you like to come with me?"

Ziyi's tears leaked, "I can't wherever I go I only bring chaos..."

"Well, you won't with me." Marius spoke with determination, " I won't let you..."

"I always harm people and I can harm you and..."

"You are not strong enough to harm my dear..."

Ziyi looked at him with teary eyes, "how are you so sure?"

"I am... I am very strong."

"What if I harm others..."

"I will stop you."

"What if you won't be able to do that?"

Marius smiled he is never good at comforting someone or good at making some stop crying he is not very good with emotions and feelings so he replied, "I will kill you."

Ziyi who was supposed to be scared of this reply to at least be disturbed or uncomfortable smiled, faintly, "really? if I hurt someone then you will kill me?"

"If I am not able to stop you then yes." Marius answered with a smile, "so... are you going to come with me? get out of this old creepy haunted-looking mansion will you and breathe outside."

Ziyi looked at his hand and slowly grabbed it.

Marius smiled as he got up and ran outside with Ziyi behind him, as soon as they came near the gates Ziyi seemed to clutch Marius's hand tighter and closed her eyes and once she stepped out of the gates she finally opened her eyes and when she realized that she was out she smiled.

She had no idea why in the world was she trusting this douchebag out of nowhere but her instincts just felt safe with him.

"Just wait for her." he said before he went to his house that shocking Ziyi, and soon he came back with a bike, "get on."

"You just beside my house?"

"It's not my house it's my boss's. Now come on get on."

"You know how to drive?" she asked looking a little skeptical.

Marius rolled his eyes, "come on."

Ziyi finally sighed and get on the bike, "I have to be back at the house in an hour okay?"

"Yes, cinderella," Marius spoke as Ziyi kept her hand on his shoulder, and smiled while Marius drove across the dark empty street.

While Ziyi looked up at the sky and smiled as she raised her hands side by side as well.

While Marius drove at a safe speed, after a while Ziyi giggled and kept her hand on his shoulder, "why are you so nice to me?"

"Because you are special."

"I am not special."

"For me you are."

"If you are sorry about the past. then..."

"I am sorry about the past but that's not the reason that I am nice to you, I am nice to you because I want to be because you deserve it because you are special."

Ziyi smiled, "I don't know why I feel so good after listening to those words from your mouth and I don't know why I feel so safe and I have no idea why I enjoy your company so much but I am not complaining."

"Well enjoy then don't think." Marius spoke, "I will always keep you safe."Ziyi smiled and after a few minutes Marius received a summon from the pack, "beta, we can't reach the alpha we have some guests from the council over, please come here as fast as possible these people are saying some insane things."

From the voice of the messenger, things looked grave Marius's face turned grim as he drove to the pack, he thought that he will ask Ziyi to stay in a room for a while before he would drop her back home.

The sudden visit from the council without prior notice was an alarm.

Yibo felt himself moving, he felt himself to be lying against something warm yet firm as he slowly opened his eye and found himself lying in Sean's arms.

As Zhan was walking shirtless.

Yibo blinked as he looked at Zhan's face and felt his bare chest against his body, "Zhan... you....before...."

Zhan looked at him and gave him a small smile, "you are awake, how do you feel?" he asked.

 Yibo gulped and clutched his head as he put on arm around Zhan, "I am fine I feel good. You can put me down."

Zhan obeyes his words and slowly put him back on the ground.

Yibo looked at him as soon as he was on the ground, he looked at him up and down before he said, "so you are a werewolf?"

Zhan nodded, "I am."

Yibo nodded, "wow... I did not expect that."

"And I thought you would be freaking out right now."

"I am and I am not as well... gosh I slept with a werewolf in the past that's so unbelievable!"

"What's so unbelieveable about it?"

"It is...just..." Yibo paused before he looked at Zhan, "why are you with me?"

Zhan looked at him with a smile with loving and gentle eyes before he said, "a werewolf has a mate, a mate who is thier other hald someone who will be by their side till the end.

Someone who will increase their power and someone who will love them and support them and there is only one mate for a werewolf...and you are the one for me."

Zhan said as he came forwards and kept his hand under Yibo's cheeks as gently as he can as he looked at him with a seren smile and Yibo smiled back, "so this is why I was so attracted to you in the past and even now."

Yibo said as he also leaned in and kept his hand on Zhan's cheeks, and Zhan spoke, "a werewolf finds thier mate when they are twenty I was waiting for my twentieth birthday to know if you were my mate or not..."

"Oh so that's why you refused to date."

"And see the irony you are indeed my mate that I have waited for so long... I have looked for you for a long time..."

Yibo smiled, "I have missed you a lot as well... I am sorry for leaving back then but I will tell you the reason soon..."

Zhan came closer and closer and looked for hesitation but found none on Yibo's face and finally it was Yibo who closed the gap and attached their lips.

Zhan then grabbed his waist tightly and pulled him against him firmly after so long after so long he was with his mate.

His mate in his arms kissing him Zhan was going mad with passion and his heart burning with desire as he hugged him and kissed him more firmly and Yibo also hugged him tightyl as well.

Oh he missed Zhan so much he craved his touch so much, he wanted to meet Zhan so much, he wanted to leave everythin and run to Zhan so badly many time.

They soon broke the kiss before Yibo said, "I have to go back." he wiped his face.And Zhan was disappointed that the kiss broke but he still nodded.

"I understand." he said.

However Yibo looked at him and said, "Ziyi is not a bad person."

"Hard for me to believe but won't be so tough if you explain what did she mean when she said that you killed her husband and child?"

Yibo sighed, "you heard that?"

"Can't help it my hearing is amazing."

Yibo smiled faintly, "I will tell you everything soon but right now I have to go back."

"Okay let's go." Zhan said as he and Yibo went back to Yibo's house.

Zhan had many many questions and one of them being why the hell was Yibo so calm he has never seen a human reacting to superanturals but shouldn't Yibo be on guard or scared?

Or was it that Yibo was confused but hid it, or maybe he just trusted Zhan very much that he was sure Zhan will never hurt him and if that was the case then Zhan was happy.

However his happiness did not last long when he reached Yibo's house and saw that Yibo's face paled as he ran franctically inside the house and then came back, "ZIYI IS NOT AT HOME ZHAN  ZIYI SHE..."

"Calm down she might be with Marius..."

"NO! SHE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO LEAVE THE HOUSE ZHAN! THERE IS DANGER!" Yibo yelled and now Zhan finally saw Yibo freaking out and loosing his mind.

Zhan mind-linked Marius and asked him and Marius told him that he was with Ziyi at the pack and that there were some council members as well.

When Zhan told that to Yibo his face paled abd blodd drained from his face he looked like he was going to faint.

"Take me there Zhan take me there before soemthing happens."

"Okay." seeing Yibo so worried Zhan was also getting a little anxious.

"Let's go in." Marius said as he grabbed Ziyi's hand who looked a little worried and was breathing a little heavily as she saw the huge apartment complex,"But Marius I have to be at hime I-"

"Just relax and trust me and now come in." Marius said as he grabbed Ziyi's hand and dragged her in and she followed as well.

She seemed entranced as there was something which was pulling her in, attracting her like a moth is attracted to light.

She walked in mindlessly, Marius held her hand as he came inside the main building where there was a fountain at the entrance and the pack members senses his arrival as Simon and the council members walked out.

Simon looked worried very worried as he walked to Marius, "this is not good Cheng."

"What happened?" Marius asked.

And Eros with some of the other member who inclided werewolf, a fallen angle and a vampire step out as well,  as he glared at Marius, "I never expected you to be so disgusting"

"What is it just say it!" Marius spoke and Eros spoke with a smirk.

"Aval Jameson has testified against your alpha Sean apparently he is the one who attacked and wipe out his pack and he saw it with his own eyes and Sean is also the one who is going around attacking the lower packs and covens."

Marius felt that the ground from below his feet was gone and the sky had shattered and he was stuck by thunder as his world stop before he yelled, "WHAT NONESENSE WHY WOULD MY ALPHA DO THAT!"

"Don't yell we have a witness."

"My alpha saved him!"

"Lies all Lies! the council will decide your Alpha's punishment, he is under arrest. Don't you dare to do anything to him you-"

"Shut up!" Eros said and while they were fighting no ine noticed Ziyi who had let go of Marius's hand and was looking at Simon like a moth looks at a burning fire and walked towards him.

Simon's energy his pure powerful and extremely abundant magic attracted her, and she didn't knew that she just walked to him.

Before she raised her her hand and touched his hand, Simon who was not on his guard and thought that nothing can harm him while in the pack looked at her and at the same time Yibo and Zhan also came there and Yibo spotted Ziyi in one go and yelled, "ZIYI LET GO OF HIM!"

And soon everyone's attention was grabbed Yibo and then Simon who screamed as Ziyi's eyes widened and Simon screamed loudly.

Marius was shocked and Sean as well while Yibo rushed to Ziyi and yanked her away from Simon!

However Simon clithced his chest and looked at Ziyi before he fainted.

"SIMON!"

Sean yelled as he went to Simon while Yibo looked horrified and so was Ziyi who looked at Marius who was sitting beside Simon.

While Eros and the others glared at Ziyi and the others, "GRAB THEM!"
