As time passed, Taehyung ignored all the confusing feelings that were gathering up within him. He ignored that feeling passing through him whenever their fingers would brush against each other's while they were studying.

He ignored that feeling when Jimin would look into his eyes and explain things to him in a low whispery tone whenever he found something difficult to understand

He ignored that electricity that sparked between them once when he caught a fever one day and couldn't keep up with their lessons. Jimin had stayed by his side wiping his forehead with a wet cloth, even feeding him his meals by himself. He had stayed over till the fever subsided the next morning.

He ignored that feeling when Jimin would rush over from wherever he was whenever he called him no matter if he was busy or not.

He ignored that feeling in his chest when Jimin smiled during their 'dates'. That warm feeling that would fill his heart when he would gobble up his meal as if he hadn't eaten for days despite having eaten few moments ago making Taehyung almost want to reach out and stroke those full cheeks that made him look so adorable.

He ignored that stinging sensation in his chest when he saw Jimin sorrounded by his harem, his eyes twinkling as he flirted with them, basking in their admiration.

He ignored all these confusing feelings that all began since Jungkook said those words to him.

Jimin likes you

Exams came and went. Summer was on it's way. Taehyung's parents called him, telling him not to hang out idly in school and to return home as soon as possible but Jimin persuaded him to stay for a week.

"There's a little vacation that the brotherhood is organizing. I want you to join us" Jimin told him. The both of them and Jungkook were at the garden in front of the dorm digging into a cup of Americano and sandwiches.

"Where is this holiday trip taking place?" Taehyung asked.

"It's at Jeju. So apparently, Namjoon's cousin's family is rich so he invited him to spend time at his resort. Namjoon was allowed to bring his friends along. All expense paid".

Taehyung's eyes widened. "Wow, his cousin must really be rich"

"According to Namjoon, his family is among the wealthiest in this country"

"Have you met him before?"

Jimin shook his head "No!"

Jungkook added "Yoongi oppa invited me...I'm going"

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Oppa?"

Jungkook blushed. Taehyung shook his head. He didn't even want to think about the two of them.

"So, are you going?" Jimin asked.

"I don't think so. My parents are already pestering me to return home"

Jimin pouted "Come on, it's just for a week. We've been studying so hard. Now it's time to have some fun"

Taehyung eyed him. "I know what you mean by fun Jimin but I'll pass"

Jimin shouted "Damn it! You're so boring! Can't you have a life?"

Jungkook smiled smugly. "Jimin is right. Get a life Taehyung. Ever since you broke up with Jiyeon, you have been acting so dull. Maybe this can help take your mind off things. Who knows, You might even meet someone special there"

Taehyung shrugged. "You think so?"

Jimin had black lines on his face as he suddenly puttered "Come to think of it, it's not compulsory. If you don't want to come with us, that's fine..." He said and laughed nervously but Taehyung cut in.

"Actually, Jungkook is right. I think I deserve a little fun. I can also use the skills you taught me to go on a few dates..." Taehyung said as he turned to Jimin.

"Yeah... that's exactly what you should do" Jungkook said, all hyped up.

Jimin humphed, shaking his head. "It's just a little vacation people. Don't get ahead of yourselves!"

Jungkook laughed. "Yah... what's wrong with you? What do young people do on vacation?"

Jimin didn't say anything but Taehyung had finally decided to go. He ignored his parents orders and the next day, he was on a car with Yoongi, Jungkook and Jimin.

Taehyung felt neausated having to witness the couple in front of him looking all lovey dovey with each other. While driving, Yoongi grabbed Jungkook's hand, squeezed it and kissed the back lovingly.

"Yah...why don't you look where you're going" He yelled irritably

Jimin eyed him. "Come on, are you going to make things hard for the couple?"

Taehyung frowned as Jungkook ducked his head. Yoongi sighed heavily.

"I know you don't like me but can't you at least tolerate me for the sake of your friend?" He said.

Taehyung didn't answer. Jimin chuckled. "Maybe he's just jealous. I guess he needs someone to hold his hand too"

He held out his hand. "I'll hold your hand"

Taehyung sent him dagger looks but that only seemed to amused him more. He humphed and looked out of the window with a mind to ignore all of them.

The journey to Jeju island took a few hours before they finally arrived at the resort. It was extremely huge and many people with extravagant appearance flocked around. Taehyung instantly knew that this wasn't a place he could afford to be in on his own.

"It's beautiful" Taehyung remarked as soon as they got down from the car. Yoongi immediately led them to a large hall where some of the other people where already present.

Taehyung only brought a few possessions with him, same with everyone else so he wasn't burdened with any baggage. Yoongi immediately began to introduce Jungkook to the others leaving Jimin and Taehyung alone in each other's presence.

"Jungkook looks happy" Taehyung said with a sigh watching Jungkook's delightful smile as he skipped along with Yoongi.

"You should try to be happy as well. Make good use of this opportunity you have" Jimin whispered as he stood close to him. Taehyung felt a shiver run through his whole body. For one thing, Jimin was too close and his breath kept brushing against his skin. His ears turned bloody red at that moment but the whole thing got ruined when someone's voice shouted in front of them.

"Jiminah! Jiminah!"

They both looked up and the two held their breaths when they saw Suzy approaching them. She was dressed stylishly and since it was summer, she had less clothing on her than normal wearing a skimpy skirt and blouse. To top it all, they were glittering gold.

She jumped on Jimin's body as soon as she got near, wrapping her arms around his neck. Taehyung shifted to the side, already feeling uncomfortable with her presence and with how she was touching Jimin. He looked away. Whatever was going on between them was none of his business anyway.

Suzy purred like a cat. "Jiminah, I've missed you!"

Jimin gently removed her hand from his neck. "What are you doing here Suzy?"

She pouted seemingly angry by his rejection.

"I was invited here of course. You tend to forget how popular I am"

Jimin nodded his head. "Good for you but I'm sure you came here with someone. Why don't you go hang out with them?"

Suzy frowned. Sure, she got invited by one of her admirers who had a deep rooted crush on her. She wasn't interested in coming until she heard from a reliable source that Jimin would also come to the resort. Ever since that day, he left her out in the cold, she had been trying to get in contact with him again but all her efforts were futile. Jimin avoided her as if she had a contagious disease but she wasn't prepared to give up. Once she latches onto something, she never lets go.

"No! I want to hang out with you!"

Jimin sighed tiredly "Can't you stop? I came here with someone"

Suzy turned her head snobbishly and gazed at Taehyung with hatred flaming in her eyes.

"Oh... Taehyung's here? So what's the big deal!"

Jimin couldn't stand her any longer and grabbed Taehyung's hand.

"Come on, let's leave here"

Taehyung sighed in relief. He was just about to take off himself but then he noticed that Jimin just grabbed his hand. There was no need for him to do that though.

"Jimin!" Suzy screamed after him but he had already left.

On their way, they met Jungkook, Yoongi, Namjoon and a strangely familiar boy all gathered in a small circle.

"Hey, Jimin! Taehyung! Come here, I want to introduce you to someone" Namjoon yelled out to them. The two of them slowly approached their circle gazing intently at the boy in their midst with a sunshine smile.

"It's you...." Taehyung blurted out and Jimin's heart fell when he recognized the figure.

The others were shocked.

"You know each other?" Namjoon asked looking curiously from one person to the other.

Hoseok smiled. "He's the one I told you about. The one I hit with my bike a few weeks ago"

Namjoon's eyes widened. "Really?"

"What a small world! What are you doing here?" Taehyung said. He looked and sounded so excited.

Namjoon beamed. "Hoseok is my cousin. He's the one who invited us here!"

Taehyung looked surprised. "Really? So you are the one who owns this resort?"

Hoseok laughed gently. "Actually, it belongs to my family but they let me do whatever I want here"

Taehyung nodded looking impressed. "That's wonderful!"

Hoseok looked at his leg. "Seems you've fully recovered"

"Yes I have. Thanks for asking" Taehyung nodded.

Everyone looked on as if they had become invincible to those two but only Jungkook looked back and noticed Jimin's dark countenance and how his hand was tightened in a firm grip.

"It seems it was destiny that brought us together again. Since it's our fate, then I guess I'm going to do whatever it takes"

Hoseok subtly glanced at Jimin after saying that and smirked as if he was sending him a hidden message. It was only a discerning person that would notice the cold tension prickling the air. Only a discerning person like Jungkook, while Taehyung continued to ramble on unaware of the cold war brewing between the two young men.
