Part 7

Luna: Hey, (Y/N)... If it isn't too much trouble... May I stay at your home until I recover? I don't think the monastery would approve of my condition...

(Y/N): I guess so since you almost puked in the airship.

The hungover teenager let out a sigh of relief knowing that she may rest before returning home. As the two of you arrived at your apartment, you noticed that the door was unlocked so you took a guess and walked inside to find none other than Corona taking a nap on your couch.

(Y/N): We're home!

The orange haired teen stirred awake from her slumber and brushed the sleep from her eyes. Taking a good look at the arrival, she was surprised to see you return so soon as well as bringing home her friend.

She happily ran up to her friend and brought her in for a hug.

Corona: Luna!

Luna: Not so loud please...

Separating from her friend, Corona began to notice the condition of the blue haired teen.

Corona: What happened to you?

(Y/N): She might have let curiosity get the best of her during the festival.

Corona: Festival? What festival? I thought she was kidnapped!

(Y/N): Yeah, she was but since we took down the tower, the village near it held a celebration for getting rid of it and we were invited.

Corona: O-oh, I see...

You noticed the look on her face and you handed your niece one of the amulets that you recorded when the main one was split. It was a sliver amulet with a red gem on one side.

(Y/N): Got you a little souvenir.

She took the amulet and carefully examined it before looking back at you.

Corona: Why are you giving this to me?

(Y/N): What? I can't give my niece a gift every now and then?

You ruffled her hair as you spoke, much to her disapproval although she was glad to have somebody to look up to as a father figure.

Two Weeks Later

Knock! Knock!

The sounds of knocking on your door brought your attention as you were currently examine the katana, Yamato. It was a fine piece of steel knowing that it can practically cut through anything, even space itself.

So you set the Devil Arm in its sheath and placed it on the coffee table,  next to your pistols which were disassembled for cleaning.

As you opened the door, you found Raven standing there with a backpack behind her back and her sheathed weapon on her side.

(Y/N): You're here.

Raven: That I am.

The two of you were in an awkward silence before you made a gesture to invite the red eyed woman inside your small home. Once inside, she simply stood in your living room,  examine te inside of your apartment.

Raven: Quite a cozy little home you have.

(Y/N): It's not much but I get by okay. So can I offer you a drink or?

Raven: No...

The two of you grew silent once again since it was an unexpected arrival.

Raven: I've been thinking it over for the past two weeks and I've begun to realize how much you really mean to me. Normally I would have left in my own direction back inside the tower, yet I wanted to help you search for the girl. I wasn't sure why until you had left. I felt lost without you so... I stepped down as leader of my tribe and arrived here using the directions you gave me just in case I changed my mind.

You surprised the woman with a hug once she was finished speaking. Raven quickly wrapped her arms around you.

(Y/N): I know you sacrificed a lot to be here so let's make the best of this.

Raven: Of course.

The two of you were close enough for a kiss but the knocking on your door interrupted.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Feeling annoyed by the interruption, you opened the door to find Taiyand and his daughter standing outside.

Taiyang: H-hey (Y/N)...

(Y/N): Didn't expect to see you suddenly show up.

He was nervous since he hadn't spoken to you in over a decade.

Yang: Aren't you going to invite us in?

(Y/N): Sorry, kiddo. Now is not a good time.

Raven: It's fine, let them in.

Taiyang was surprised to hear the familiar voice of Raven. So you opened the door even more so that they may enter.

Yang: ... Mom?

Raven: Hello, Yang.

Taiyang turned to you with a questioning look.

(Y/N): What? It's not like she disappeared off the face of remnant. Besides, I knew her a lot better than you did.

Taiyang: I see...

(Y/N): Anyways, what brings you here?

The blonde man fell silent for a little bit until he finally thought of the words that he wished to speak.

Taiyang: I umm. I wanted to apologize about what happened all of those years ago. I knew how much Raven meant to you yet I continued going after her and... I also wanted to apologize about the way I acted to you after our big fight...

He grew silent once again after his apologies, although he was stunned when you gave a small chuckle. Even Yang grew angry at the fact that you simply laughed at his sincerity.

Yang: You're really just going to act like that after he said he was sorry?!

Taiyang: Yang don't, it's fine I understand.

(Y/N): Dumbass, I forgave you a long time ago.

Taiyang: Really?

You gave him a light punch on his shoulder.

(Y/N): Yup, don't know why it took you this long to even apologize.

Taiyang: I-I

(Y/N): Relax, I'm only kidding. Never expected you to turn into such a softie.

Thirty Minutes Later

Yang: So you're with this guy now?

Raven: Yes, I've never felt the same when I was with your father which caused quite a few problems between us until I left.

(Y/N): This guy also happens to be the same person that fought off an army of alpha Grimm so...

You placed Yang's drink on the table in front of her while radiating quite a bit of your demonic aura.

(Y/N): I'd watch the attitude around around me.

The blonde teen grew frightened at the aura spike as well as the fact that a dark aura was literally leaking from your body, so she nodded quickly as a response.

Taiyang: So how do you know that this tower won't just come back?

Raven: I've asked my subordinates to send a messenger if it rises once again.

(Y/N): If. It does then I wouldn't mind another challenge.

After another half hour of chatting and catching up, the two blondes decided that it would be a good time to leave. Mostly between you and Taiyang while Raven and her daughter sat there listening to the stories.

Taiyang: Hey... I just want to say, please take good care of her.

Raven: Don't speak about me as if I'm some form of pet.

This made you laugh but you shook hands with the blonde man before he exited.

Yang: Is it alright if I stop by and visit every once in a while?

Raven: As long as it's okay with (Y/N) then I wouldn't mind.

(Y/M): Sure.

The blonde teen smiled at the thought of being able to see her mother.

Yang: Thanks!

She left after her father and you closed the door behind her, leaving alone with the black haired beauty.

(Y/N): Well that went surprisingly well.

Raven nodded in agreement, although she surprised by wrapping her arms around you from behind.

Raven: Yea, but now that we're alone~

A grin formed across your face as you turned around to find her looking at you with her cheeks reddened from the *ahem* heat. So you decided to pick her up bridal style and made your way into the bedroom.

(Y/N): Then we have no time to waste!

The End!
