Raven: What do you make of this?

The two of you have finally arrived at a set of large double doors. Perhaps it was the most difficult journey the two of you undertaken ever since the mission where you had nearly died trying to save your friends.

(Y/N): Somebody's behind these doors, I can feel his aura just by being out here.

Raven: Perhaps it's the final battle?

(Y/N): Could be, just remember why I'm here. This girl is practically a sister to my niece, so I need to find her once this is over.

The black haired woman nodded and kept a hand on her weapon. You then proceeded to open the doors with a powerful kick that made them slowly open. Inside, there was a large round chamber with a katana stuck in the middle surrounded by engravings on the floor.

???: Help me!

You turned your head to find a blue haired teen with her hands chained to a wall. She was frightened for he life as she struggled to break free from her restraints.

(Y/N): Hang on,  kiddo!

You were about to jog to the teen but Raven moved her arm in front of you, blocking you from moving anywhere. Confused by her actions, you looked at her to find her looking forward, glaring at the center of the room.

Arkham: So, the Devil Hunter has arrived.

You looked forward to find a bald headed man in a black suit standing near the imbedded katana.

(Y/N): That i have, Mr...?

Arkham: Arkham.

(Y/N): Right, listen you seem like a reasonable guy so I'll cut to the chase. I'm leaving with the girl and you can disappear along with this tower. How does that sound?

The man simply kept his unemotional look on his face as he stared at the two of you.

Arkham: I'll have to decline. You see, there is something that I'd like to take from you.

The man brought fourth a pendant with a gem on both sides. The power of the pendant lit the room with blue lights from around the room and opened a hole in the middle.

Arkham: In order to break Sparda's seal, I require this combined pendant, the blood of Sparda's, and...

He brought fourth a dagger from his sleeve and flung it at the imprisoned girl.

Arkham: The blood of a priestess.

Luckily, you appeared in front of the girl and easily caught the girl with one hand.

(Y/N): Not gonna happen.

Luna: Y-you're Corona's uncle! You're the devil Hunter?

You turned your head to the girl and gave her a assuring smile before easily breaking the chains with a quick swipe of your sword.

(Y/N): Yup, just sit back and relax. We'll get you home as soon as we finished dealing with this guy.

Luna: O-oh okay. Be careful, he's no longer human.

You smirked before turning your attention to the enemy.

(Y/N): Neither am I.

Arkham: Hmph. I will gain the power of Sparda, even if I have to kill all three of you.

Arkham picked up the katana from the ground and faced you with the devil arm. The power from the weapon radiated with him before he suddenly blocked a surprise attack from Raven.

Raven: Don't think you can leave me out of this battle.

Arkham: Quite the feisty one, aren't you?

He pushed the woman away with his weapon, making her jump back next to you. 

(Y/N): Let's get this show in the road!

You activated your Devil Trigger and rushed forward to swipe at the man with your sword, forcing him to jump back. He was about to retaliate with his weapon but Raven leapt over you to throw a downwards slash. Arkham blocked her attack with the katana, until you kicked him in the chest and sent him staggering backwards.

Arkham: Why you...

He gave a swift swing at you but he missed. Although you sidestepped to avoid the power of the weapon, in fact the wall behind you has been sliced with the same angle of his swing.

(Y/N): *demonic* Come on, you can do better than that.

The bald headed man smirked as he suddenly gave a display of inhuman speed and moved around Raven. Even she was unable to keep with the speed and before she knew it, the man appeared behind her while sheathing the katana.

Once the click from the action was completed. Raven fell to the ground in a puddle of her own blood.

(Y/N): Raven!!

Raven: I-I'm fine... It broke through my aura... C-can't move...

Arkham appeared on front of you and struck you in the gut with the hilt of the blade. The attack was weak considering that you were still in Devil Trigger.

You simply shook your head and punched him in the face with Ifrit, leaving a burn mark on his face although it quickly healed. He was about to swing the katana at you but you blocked it with Alastor.

The two of you began to clash with each other's weapons. Creating sparks as the speed of the attacks began to increase until both blades were glowing red from heat. It was unrealistic to the human eye since the strikes were practically a blur.

You can tell that Arkham was growing tired since his attacks began to slow. It made you smirk inwardly since this man was recently turned into a demon.

(Y/N): *demonic* What's the matter? I thought you weren't human.

Arkham: Tch, shut it.

The bald headed man grew angry a your taunt as he tried to keep up with his attacks. He made an attempt to attack you with a surprise strike, but you moved in with your own and dashed past him. You halted to a stop a few feet behind him while reverting back into human form.

A large gash appeared on his front torso,  making him drop the katana since his arm had also been cut off.

Arkham: T-the power of Sparda!!...

He fell on his back while struggling to breathe for air. He was beginning to raise himself on his feet but you held one of your pistols, aiming it directly to his forehead.

(Y/N): I read a case where there was a woman that has been stabbed to death by her own husband. Even the daughter was found dead as well, but the husband/father was nowhere to be found. How's it feel knowing that sacrificing your own family to become a demon, wasn't as worth it?

Arkham: *cough* I could care less. The power of your ancestor could have been mine!

The man suddenly began to morph into a demonic entity but you held it down with your foot as it became more aggressive.

(Y/N): I'll be seeing you in hell.

Bang! Bang!

The demon fell dead from the multiple gunshots of your pistols.

Placing both guns back into their holsters, you claimed the pendant that laid next to the demon's body and separated them to create two necklaces. Turning back, you found Raven sitting on the ground with Luna kneeling next to her with a staff.

Luna: There, I may not be as good of a healer as my friend but at least I was able to heal your injuries. My studies have went towards a different subject than holy arts.

Raven: I'm grateful, young priestess.

The blue haired teen smiled from the praise.

Luna: Happy to help! Although I'm more of a scholar than a priestess...

(Y/N): So his plan wouldn't work even if he tried?

Luna: It would still work. I'm one of the few graduates who extended their study into other subjects.

(Y/N): The hell do they teach you kids over there?

Luna giggled nervously as she tried to think of a response to your question. Although the tower began to shake, making all of you look around.

Raven: It seems as though we've succeeded in destroying the tower.

(Y/N): Or it could be sinking back to the ground!

Before everyone decided to make a break for it, you grabbed the katana next to the demon's body and began to run with the two females.
