No one's POV

Raven lands on a tree branch before jumping down. When she lands, she uses her semblance to open a portal to Qrow. She walks in and was standing behind her brother, seeing him just finished off a group of Beowolves. Qrow rests his sword on his shoulder and turns to face his sister.

"Sup?" Qrow greets.

"Let's go." Raven orders. She began to head north, not even acknowledging her brother, who just sighs before he follows her.

After a bit of an awkward silence, Qrow decided to break it. "So, what's got you in a bad mood?"

"What?" Raven asks in confusion.

"You've been acting pissed off most of the morning...more than usual." Raven gave him an annoyed look, to which he ignores. "What's up?"

Raven took a moment to think of an answer. She struggles to get an answer out, so she lets out a frustrated sigh before answering. "I'm sorry...it's just that I don't want to be here... Seeing these people acting happy and all that annoys me..."

"Seriously? Is that what made you in a bad mood?"

Raven just shrugs in response. The two kept walking in silence for a bit before they heard the sound of fighting. Becoming curious, the two decided to check it out. They ran to the source and found Tai and Summer fighting a group of Beowolves. Qrow went to assist them as Raven stayed behind.

Qrow pulls out his sword from his back. He leaps in the air and slices a Beowolf in half. Tai punches a different one in the stomach multiple times before kicking it away to Summer, who uses her scythe to decapitate the Grimm.

Qrow transforms his sword into a gun and shot two more Grimm in the head, killing them. Summer dashes to the last Grimm and swung her weapon horizontally, slicing off an arm. She then uses slices off the other arm before cutting off the head. After they were done fighting, the four group up as they all, except for Raven, put their weapons away.

"Hey you two!" Tai greets cheerfully.

"Hey." Qrow replies. "Have you two found where the relics are?"

"I saw it was north of here." Summer comments. "If we head that way, I think we'll get to them in a few minutes."

Qrow nods, liking the idea. "Sounds like a plan to me."

"Alright!" Tai shouts. "Lead the way Summer."

Summer nods before doing just that. Tai followed her, leaving the twins behind. Qrow looks at Raven as she doesn't look too happy about being lead by some girl.

"Don't give me that look." Qrow says. "I'm sure we can make this team work."

Raven just gave him a "really?" look. Qrow just took out his flask and began to drink it as he follows the other two, before Raven follows as well.

Time skip

After a bit of walking, y/n found a bunch of destroyed ruins. Not only that, but he also saw STRQ there as well. He walks up to them as he does a two finger salute when he's close. "Sup? Looks like I'm a bit late to the party."

Tai waves for y/n to come over. Raven blushes a little and turns around to hide her face from him. Qrow notices and snickers at her embarrassment, which she elbowed his stomach in irritation, causing him to gasp for air. Summer turns around to hide her face under her hood due to a new person talking to her. Y/n walks up to her. "Sup?"

"H-hi....I'm Summer Rose."

Y/n couldn't help but smirk seeing her all embarrassed. "Heh, cute. Name's y/n."

Y/n pats her head like a pet. Summer hid herself even more under her hood as she made an "eep!" sound. Y/n just chuckles at her shyness before he continues to the rest of the group. Tai runs up to y/n before he pulls out his hand for a handshake.

"Sup, dude? The name's Taiyang! But you can call me Tai for short!" 

Y/n felt something growing in his gut about this guy. He slowly felt the strange urge to shoot him. But he shakes it off and decided to be polite by shaking Tai's hand. "Sup."

When they were done, y/n made his way over to Qrow and Raven. Raven noticed him approaching them so she hid her face even more. Qrow grins as he sees this.

"Howdy, you two? Guessing she's your sister?" Y/n points to Raven.

Qrow nods. "Yeah. Name's Qrow. And this is Raven, my sister."

Y/n noticed Raven was hiding her face from him. He raised an eyebrow as he had a few questions in his mind. He mouths "Is she always like this?" to Qrow, who chuckles before replying. "Sometimes."

Y/n just nods in response before he made his way to the ruins. When he does, he noticed coins were placed on separate pedestals. He picks one up and studied the coin, seeing it was a simple blank silver coin."The relics are coins?" He asks as he flips it in the air and catches it in his palm.

"I guess." Qrow walks up to him. "Who else would place these in the middle of a forest that was surrounded by Grimm?"

"Dunno. But...whatever!" Y/n places it in his pocket before he was about to leave. That was until the group heard a noise that sounds like heavy stomping in the distance.

"What was that?" Summer asks worryingly as she turns to the direction of the stomping.

"A Grimm probably." Tai says.

"I'm sure it's no big deal." Qrow adds. "We should head back."

"..." Y/n was silent as he turns to the stomping.

Just as the five turn around, they heard something running at them through the forest.

"Uhhh...guys, I think we got incoming!"

Hearing Summer worry more made Qrow nervous as well, but he decided to hide it. "Relax, we can take it!"

And as if he had terrible luck or something, something large flies in the air and was heading straight towards the group. It was too fast for anyone to move out of the way, as it was just about to crush Summer. But y/n suddenly appears in front of her and sliced what turns out to be a giant rock in half with his sword. The two pieces missed the young woman as they crash into the ground beside her. Y/n puts his sword back on his back as he turns to her.

"You alright?" Y/n asks, receiving a nod from Summer. "Good." He turns to the direction where the rock came from.

Y/n heard everyone pull out their weapons from behind. Summer took out her scythe as Qrow and Raven took out their weapons out as well. Tai just got into a boxer's stance. Y/n decides to wait for the thing to show itself before he will take out his weapons.

"..." Silence fills the air for an untold amount of time. Just as they thought the thing was gone, something jumps high into the air and lands a few yards away from them. When crashing into the ground it created a large explosion of dust. A Grimm walls out of the explosion as y/n took a step forward.

When STRQ realize what type of Grimm the thing was, they became frightened as they gripped their weapons tighter.

"Shit!" Qrow shouts. "Never mind what I said earlier!!"

"Aw crap!" Tai tells. "It's a Juggernaut! We can't take it head on! We should run!"

Summer looks at him with a frightened face. "But how?! It's blocking our way back!"

The Grimm studies the group. It appears it doesn't find anyone a threat except for Summer and y/n. The Juggernaut stares at y/n, seeing him as a real challenge. Just as everyone thought all hope was lost, y/n steps up to the Juggernaut, arms crossed as he smirks.

"Seems like you guys need a distraction." As y/n finished his sentence, he pulls out his sword from behind. "Get going while I take care of this thing." He got into a fighting position as the Grimm got into a fighting position as well.

"Are you crazy?! You'll die!" Summer tries to grab him but Qrow grabs her shoulder. "Do you have any idea how powerful Juggernauts are?!"

"Nah, but I don't think I'll-."

"You don't understand!" Tai steps in. "Juggernauts can absorb physical attacks and evolve! It's just in its first stage!"

"..."

"We should run while we still can-!"

Y/n let's out an irritated growl. He puts his sword away before he pulls out one of his pistols. He quickly turns around and shot Tai in the leg two times, causing the latter to fall on the ground while holding his bleeding leg as he yells in pain.

"Tai!" Summer and Qrow run up to Tai to assist him. As Summer tries to get him to calm down, Qrow glares at y/n. "What the hell, dude?! Why did you-?!"

"You have two options..." Y/n says ominously. He wasn't looking at them as his hair was covering his eyes. "You can either get Tai back to Ozpin, get him medical help and hope he lives, or you all get a few bullets in the leg too and die to blood loss. Make your choice."

Qrow growls in frustration. "Why are you threatening us-?!"

"Blonde's still bleeding, ya know?"

"Y/n's right!" Summer adds. "We need to get him to a doctor!"

"I know! Help me get him up!"

Qrow and Summer got Tai's arms around their shoulders to carry him. Raven got by y/n's side with her sword in hand, ready to help fight. But y/n puts a hand on her sword and lowers it, confusing the girl. "What are you-?"

"Go help out the others. They'll need assistance since the Grimm will probably be attracted to the sent of blood."

"But-." As Raven was about to argue again, she noticed how serious y/n looked. She stops for a moment to think before finally giving in. She went to the others to protect the them make their escape.

As they ran off, the Juggernaut watches them leave, almost making sure that there wasn't anything in its way against y/n. When it and y/n saw they were out of sight, the two face each other.

"So, you can evolve, huh big guy?" Y/n cracks his knuckles.

The Juggernaut got into a fighting position as y/n pulls out his pistols. "If that's true, then let's see what's your final stage is, shall we?" Y/n began to spin his pistols in his hands as he walks up to the Grimm.

"Let's rock, baby!"

As if the Juggernaut could understand him, it charges at him. Just before anything could happen, everything stops before the sounds of gunshots were heard. Two bullets shot the screen before it cracks and shatters into nothing.
