Cuphead stared in shock of the sudden statement the the demon gave.

"What do you mean seal?! "

"Oh come on, I know you read that book, at lease you would know about seals "

"I- uh... actually haven't read that part yet"

Cuphead scratches the back of his neck, embarrassed that he forgot to read the first chapter about seals. Bendy noticed this and groans in frustration.

"Ugh... fine, since you currently have one, I suppose it's my job to explain to you... "

Cuphead hears this and directly lunged at the now surprised adorable demon, Making both of them fall into an awkward position.

"Thank you!!.... oh... uhhmmm..."

"Get off me!!- ahem... please"

They both separated and fixed themselves up, dusting dirt that has stained their clothes.

"OK now back to the business at hand "

"oh of course right please continue "

Bendy explained the basics about seals as they walked slowly towards Cupheads house. Exchanging jokes from time to time.

" Soo you punched a police while you were stealing his money"

"yup that's about it"

"Damn for a mortal you truly are despicable "

"O-oh uhmmm... thank you? ", Cuphead said as they reached his house, to which they stopped in front of the doorway.

"Are you sure you haven't tricked me? "

"Kid... if I have tricked you, you would be burning in a stake right now"

"Oh right- hey! I told you to stop calling me kid! "

"Oh, but did you tell me when? hmm? "

  Cuphead pouts adorably, making Bendy smile at this, with a surprisingly cute giggle. Which made Cuphead blush but didn't noticed. Bendy saw this and then fall into submission.

"Ok fine, I'll stop now"

"Yasss! "

"Now, are you ready to meet your brother again? "

"I-I'm not sure to be honest "

"You'll do fine... maybe hehehe"

"And what was that giggle for?"

"ohh nothing too serious ", Bendy innocently whistles distractedly, not batting an eye on the glaring cup at all. 

With a sigh Cuphead opens the door, only to be tackled by his brother into a hug.

"cuppy you came back!! "

"I what? "

"You silly dork, you've been gone for a week traveling with your friend here"

Cuphead looks, as his brother Mugman pointing at Bendy. To which he replied with a whisper. "Just go along with it, it's all I could come up in a matter of seconds- and also because I'm too lazy "

Cuphead silently nods in response, as he questions his brother to make sure nothing too much drastic changed.

"Uhhmmm... Mugs can I ask you a question? ''

"Well of course you can, ask away"

"Ok.. ummm... do you remember what happened in the last couple of years? "

"Well to be honest everything's a blur all I could recall is, me being in bed having a heavy fever... why'd you ask? "

"Just to make sure that... umm"

As Cuphead was lost for words, Bendy steps in and continued the excuse.

"To make sure that you don't have amnesia, cause having a heavy fever can cause one. Luckily yours isn't too much drastic I presume "Bendy said skillfully well, leaving no clues or ideas of what really happened. To which Cuphead was amazed, even though he knew that he was a demon. duh

"Hello there Mugman my name's Bendy"

"Glad to finally meet a friend Cuphead's "

Mugman offers his hand, to which Bendy gladly accepts it and they shake hands. Cuphead was being nervous about asking his brother about Bendy.

"mugs can I ask you a favor? "

"I agree"

"what?! "

"you were gonna ask if Bendy could join us am I right?"

"How did you know? "

"Well judging from what Bendy is dressing, and the fact that we live near the woods. He's staying here for a long time "

"Y-yes a year actually"

"well that's fine he can sleep at the guest room"

Cuphead was shocked at this, they didn't had a guest room. He took a while to process this and looks at Bendy to which he responded with, "Already made preparations and the guest room, and also I like your brother's commonsense, unlike you "Bendy smirked, as for Cuphead he was insulted by the demon's response.

"It was one time! "

"Yeah right one time"

Bendy headed towards his new room to decorate it and put preparations for a year's time.

As for Cuphead he went to his brother to catch up for old times sake.

Cuphead's POV

I walk outside my house to talk to my brother, Only to see him chopping firewood.

"Hi Mugs, how're you doing? "

"I'm fine, just chopping some wood for the night "

"Can I help you with that? "

"Of course, you can grab an axe next to those pile of woods there"

"thanks"

As Cuphead grabbed the axe and began chopping some wood along with Mugman. He asked Cuphead a question all out of the blue. "Cuphead I want to ask you something "

"Sure mugs, you can ask me anything "

"What happened to me in the past 12 years? "
