"Alright no smoochy stuff! "

         Bendy barges in between the two friends, looking at them with an enraged look, both of them look at each other and realization struck them like a brick

"Oh! no no child"

           Sheba held his hand up in defence waving it frantically showing that the said demon misinterpreted her bond with Cuphead.

"Child? Child?! how dare you call me a child! "

        Bendy jumped forward and tried to tackle down Sheba, but was stopped as a pair of arms wrapped around his waist, holding him back from clawing her. He took a second to ease down and retract from killing her on sight knowing that someone in particular would be miserable.

"Just... just don't call me a child... "

             He completely went limp as he let Cuphead carry him in his room, leaving a confused Sheba with Mugman.

"Sorry for all of that... Sheba was it? "

"Y-yeah... and you are? "

"Mugman, Cuphead's brother "

           Mugman held out a hand and let Sheba take it, shaking in a mannered way.

"I didn't knew he had a brother "

"U-um.. yeah I was... um.. I lived in the city for a few years... and um.. I decided... to... move here with my bro- you know after years and years of separation I kinda missed him"

            Mugman tugged his shirt in an attempt to cool down from the tension building up as well as keeping a low profile to ease her curiosity from rising.

"Hmm... suspicious"

"Um... how about take a seat in the living room please"

             Sweat began to drip down his forehead, tension building up his spine. Fortunately Sheba took it with no hesitation and took a seat on a couch near a window.

       Mugman let out a breath he didn't know he held back, and proceeded to brew some tea.

Damn it Cups.

Mugman's POV

               Teapot whistling hot steam, pulled a set and poured some tea, its scent filling the dreaded living room.

"Tea?"

"Why yes please"

           I Gave her a teacup and took a sip from mine, waiting for my brother and some demon in particular, I don't know what are they doing but if he calmed him down it would definitely help this awkward situation.

" So Mugman"

"Hmm?"

"While waiting for the two why don't we chat a little, you know get to know each other"

"Seems fine to me"

            We sat in different seats across from each other, facing face to face, our chat came out casual at first, from favored things to if and then questions. But of course every good chat of information comes to a deep question.

"Mugman what's your past looked like"

         I immediately froze on spot, thinking of ways to lie to her convincingly, different excuses and different outcomes. But just in a nick of time Cuphead arrived.

"Oh hi Cuphead"

"Hi there Sheba sorry for the inconvenience "

            He scratched the back of his neck slightly looking tense, but soon came to ease as he opened his mouth again.

"S-so do you guys want to hangout by the nearby woods"

"Hmm? why so? "

"Um.. Bendy's sleeping right now"

"Oh you mean that child earlier? "

              I swear at I could birst out laughing at any given time, snorting a bit catching Sheba's attention.

"What's so funny? "

"B-bendy's not a child"

"Ohhh... wait what!? "

          Cuphead hushed her pointing at Bendy's room.  She nodded and we began to slip out of the house quietly.
