🎼 Blaz’s feet landed soundslessly on my roof only a few feet away from me. He still has no shirt on so I looked away with probably a girlish smile on my face. I usually come up here on top of the roof of my bedroom just to stare up at the sky and re-think my future. Now I just needed sometime to think about my almost death and I ‘forsaw’ Blaz visiting me tonight so I brought an extra coke bottle. I sat up crossing my legs and stared at him unsure of what to do. He doesn’t seem like he knows either.

“You OK?” He finally asked.

“Are you?”

“Of course. That demon had nothing against me.” He bragged but I smiled.

“Good I was really worried.” No why did I just say that now he’s going to get all cocky!?

“Oh were you now?” He didn’t say he just sat down next to me but keeping a space between us. “You didn’t need to be. I am a Dark angel after all.” And there it is. He finally admits it. “I wouldn’t need to worry about you if you figured out your powers already.” He said. And who’s fault is that? I wanted to question but hid away my sarcasm for the night.

“You’ve known all along. And still you wanted me out of this ‘gangster business’.”

“Will is my mentor.” When he said my father’s name my breathing hitched. “The captain of the shadow army.” Of course he is. He is all powerful I can just feel it. “And the way he looked at you that day at the park confused me. It didn’t take me too long to realise you were something so special to him so I feel like it’s my duty to protect you. He’s my idol I guess you would say and so before I realised what you were I wanted to figure you out. Why you are so important to him. At the start I was envious of you so that’s kind of why I treated you like shit.” I processed everything in my head before I said something. William thinks I’m important to him. I know barely know enough about the man but I still mentally cheered.

“Envious?” I smirked.

“I was five.” He said and then I decided to pass him a coke bottle which he accepted nodding thanks. He unscrewed the lid and took a big gulp like he’s been thirsty for days.

“We have a connection.” I said making him choke on his drink.

“Pardon?”

“Our mutual bond is my dad. Without him I wouldn’t have the undying pleasure of your sweet company.” I said sourly as I drank from my bottle.

“Listen princess I still want you out if this mess alright because the reason your parents gave you away was to hide you from both sides. Don’t let what they’ve sacrificed go to waste.”

“That’s not fair.” I whispered. He sighed in annoyance.

“I’ll tell you what you can learn more about this angel stuff but you must only come to me for it. Understand?”

“No deal.”

“Excuse me?”

“I can’t believe a word you say. I’d rather go to Erica because I know she’ll tell me the truth.”

“Erica? No I will tell you anything and everything...”

“If?”

“Oh you know me so well.” He placed his hand over heart while I rolled my eyes smiling and nudged at his iron arm. “If I have free access to your pantie draw.”

“What! No!” He fell back laughing as my face grew red.

“Please Princess get over yourself. Besides I never needed your permission before.” My mouth fell open as he wiggled his eyebrows.

“You’re such a...”

“Handsome devil I know, I know.”

“You’re infuriating.”

“I just know how to turn a girl on. Anyway that’s not what I want...”

“If it’s money Blaz I won’t hesitate.”

“What would I do with human money?”

“Buy your own panties.” I suggested.

“What’s the point if I have yours?”

“OK Blaz we’re getting off topic. Just tell me what the ‘if’ is?”

“If you help me break up with Nicole.” As soon as he said my mouth fell open in shock. Don’t laugh, don’t laugh... Just wait to hear the reason then laugh.

“Why I thought she was your princess?”

He pouted playfully. “Only you are my princess.” I smiled chuckling. This is so weird... This Blaz I can’t help but adore.

I gasped at what I thought. “No.”  I whispered by accident and he looked at me confused. “Uh... I know you’re right, only I have the privalige to be your princess. And I would gladly make the order to chop off her head.” That’s more of the Queen of hearts but if she dealt with annoying people like Nicole I can only agree with her tactic. “But why? Were her boobs not big enough for you?”

“They were satisfactory.” He said. I curled my lips in. “It’s the clinginess I can’t stand. She wants to know where I am, who I’m with. She keeps bothering me about you and bitching about you... At the start it was funny now the topic of you is getting old.”

“Ouch.”

He grinned. “So is it a deal?”

“Done.” I held out my hand but he shook his head as if suddenly senseing this is a bad idea. I was about to let it fall but he grasped it hard and we shook. I pulled away and took a sip from my coke. “We’ll let the mole down easy on Monday but knowing her she will retaliate. Got any dark powers that will steal away her voice for the day.” I gazed over at him again and realised he has somehow moved closer to me without me noticing. I kept my eyes away from his torso and lay back so the only thing I could look at would be the stars.

“If I did don’t you think I would have used it on you?”

“Touche.” He lay back next to me placing his hands at the back of his head. “Does Ranger?”

“He knows. Which is dangerous considering he is a Light angel.”

“I thought the Dark angels were dangerous ones.”

“We are. But you’re lucky that I won’t tell a soul about you. I couldn’t do that to William.”

“Ranger will? Tell someone I mean.”

“If he wants trouble he will. That’s why I only want you to talk to me about this OK? Everyone else could all be a danger to you.” He suddenly got up and walked to the edge of the roof. Just like that he’s going to leave. “I’ll see you Monday Princess.” He lifted up his black sharp wings that reflected the moonlight. I awed at them biting my lip.

“Ok goodnight. Oh and Blaz!” I called out before he got ready to swoop down. “I want my underwear back.” He smiled deviously at me then flew off.

I’m not getting them back am I?
